I live down the road from Sandpoint in Kootenai County. I have been to this fair. The elephant in the room is the amount of sub rosa leftists of the Hollywood stripe who have bolt holes and hideouts in Bonner and Benewah counties. There are many, many enclaves in Dover Bay and on Lake Pend Orielle which are owned by these leftist deviates and maintained by property management folks. I have met and talked with them in my travels.
This was documented in The American Spectator years ago by actor and Nixon speechwriter Ben Stein, who wrote about his place on the lake, where he would go when the SHTF in SoCal. When I and my native Idahoan wife moved here over 9 years ago, there already was a huge catfight going on in Bonner County between the true conservative-prepper locals and the woke leftists on the Sandpoint City Council over bringing in refugees. The locals won. But the war is not over.
The firebrand conservative state representative for that area is a lovely young woman, Heather Scott. Just to show you how deep the Uniparty corruption goes, the RINOS repeatedly wheel out some talking head to try to unseat her in the primaries. So far, she has weathered the assault. North Idaho is considered the “Red-headed stepchild” by the RINOS, their grinning idiot governor and the rest of the poltroons in Boise.
We here are still fighting the good fight. The left and their useful idiots have managed to get ranked-choice voting/open primaries on the November ballot. If it succeeds, the Gem State will turn purple. Much is at stake. Ephesians 6:10-13. Bleib ubrig.

“One way” Does repentance come into the equation? When?

Mr. Finley: I was a Bircher for almost 10 years when I lived in SoCal. I briefly rejoined here in Kootenai County over three years ago but was kicked out for being “antisemitic” (long story). I was never told not to vote. The JBS’s policy has been to educate the voting public on the dangers of totalitarian government. Sadly, they have become an organization of tired and frightened old men. No one is listening to them, even though they are telling the truth about this corrupt, syphilitic-thinking country.

Yea we are closing in on the perfect storm, I never joined the JBS but I followed them they made a lot of sense back then. Time keeps moving on, I sometimes cannot believe I am 73 in the blink of an eye here I am. Our country has done 180 degree change and not for the good. I believe none of us want what is coming, but it has to if we are to survive. God bless you and yours.

They keep coming at us and we keep running like a scene out of “Thunderheart”, we are running for the stronghold. The day comes when we have to stop running and draw the line in the sand. The best movie line that comes to mind comes from Star Trek movie “First Contact” when Picard says:

“I will not sacrifice the Enterprise. We’ve made too many compromises already; too many retreats. They invade our space and we fall back. They assimilate entire worlds and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far, no further! And *I* will make them pay for what they’ve done!”

Rawles is partly responsible for the mess in Idaho. He spends every blog extolling the virtues of the American Redoubt. If you find a wonderful place, keep your mouth shut. Working deep in Yankee territory in my younger days, I made sure to ‘bad-mouth’ the South and let them know I would move if I could. A CA. conservative is a far-left liberal in Idaho. The Yankees moving South have left another path of destruction in their wake.

“A California conservative is a far-left liberal in Idaho” --huh? You’re kidding right? Just to let you know--there are more ultra-right conservatives in California than the entire population/s of Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and a few other states combined. The only difference between a ‘California conservative and an Idaho conservative is that the California conservative has more than $100.00 available in their checking accounts. The MAJORITY of counties in California are WILDLY conservative--more than the deepest red areas you can think of. Only that a few densely populated urban areas (with massive voting blocks) overrun by leftists manage to control the politics here… same as Oregon and soon to be that same as Montana (see Missoula and the capital of Montana). This is the game leftists play with manipulating voting blocks. Most Idaho conservatives resent California conservatives because the California conservatives put more than potatoes and pot-roast on their menus.

With Rawles there is some sorta’ Christian movement that he is a part and parcel to. Can’t remember the term--heard it years ago. Anyone who wants to chime in, please do. Please remember that this is a BUSINESS for Rawles. Period. Just like other hucksters who sell gold, silver or survival bunkers.

Anyways Rawles is one of the primary actors mainly responsible for the migration into the so-termed “Redoubt.” Property prices have more than doubled in the last few years--and let me tell you--IT’S A MASSIVE BUBBLE waiting to pop. And it will pop bigger than the real estate bubble a few years ago. In one video is pictured a cabin retreat priced at 900k. WTF?!! In the REAL WORLD it’s a 250k structure and piece of land--TOPS. MAX. More like 125k. And now the politicians are cashing in with the massive rise in property values and associated property taxes. There’s no end to it. Give a politician a revenue stream and it’s like giving a heroin addict free fixes and needles.

My neighbor sold out here in California and went to Idaho 4 years ago. Since then his property taxes have increased to nearly his California levels--and is not protected by Proposition 13 as they are in California.

True that about no Prop 13. That “Progressive” rat bastard Cecil Andrus vetoed that. Plus, they tax our food and then throw us a crumb on our state taxes at the end of the year called a “rebate”. The political hacks in Boise claim the grocery tax is needed because it generates revenue from all of the tourists. But they won’t report any statistics to back that up.
Still, I was born and raised in California and lived for 12 years in Oregon. North ID is a much better and safer place to live. Plus, at my age (76), I’m too old to go anywhere else. When the balloon goes up, I’m just going to channel Samuel Whittemore and let the empty cartridge cases fall where they may. Bleib ubrig.

I moved to North Idaho a little over 4 years ago. I live in the town of Hayden, about 5 miles north of Coeur d’Alene. I got taxed out of my house in Washington state, and I saw how the gun laws were becoming more draconian and restrictive. Moving to Idaho was the best thing I ever did, next to marrying a wonderful woman who puts up with me! I moved here about a week before ANTIFA and BLM tried to come into downtown Coeur d’Alene to cause a riot and burn out the town. When riding down the main drag in downtown CDA on my motorcycle, I saw hundreds of patriots kitted out with AR-15s in full battle rattle. ANTIFA tried to come to town but when they saw what was waiting for them they turned around and left. I knew then and there that I had picked the right place for my new home. We do have a problem here in the Redoubt. The Leftists, Marxists, and Rinos have been pushing the LGBTQ agenda on our kids in schools and public libraries along with the DEI indoctrination that we have been fighting against. What the documentary failed to show was that the 2 County Commissioners who were interviewed supported those agendas. So it was no wonder we were against them. I love Idaho. I’m 75 years old and this is where I will make my stand!

This video interviews Chris Filios and Bill Brooks who complain that the Republican party has grown too extreme right and calls them names like communist. They are more accurately called RINO as they hold Republican ideals, as stated in the platform, in name only. Ii saw the Zoom call of local Democrat aparatchiks in which Chris Filios was thanking the demo for voting for him after switching party affiliation. These RINO’s get Democrats to vote for them an wonder why the Republicans don’t want their liberal politics.
