Leaks, Facebook and Twitter Are Now Used for Briefings

The events of the past two weeks have shown the American public a clearer picture of the administration’s foreign policy:

The president is aligned with the Muslim governments in the Middle East in his actions and in his Obama’s alleged message to Israeli PM Netanyahu:

“You have just as much blood on your hands as they do.  They got a right to exist as well.  Everybody does.  And I don’t want this thing…this back and forth…you and them…I don’t want this turning into an election issue for me, right?  I can’t be telling those people how to treat your country any more than you want me telling you how to treat them, right?  You see where I’m at in this?

Don’t you turn this into something that might take away Jewish votes for me.  That’s what you got going here – I know what you’re up to.  Don’t do it.  This thing…Iran…don’t try…don’t  hurt me politically with it.  You need us.  We don’t need you.”

Hillary has apologized to the Muslim world concerning the badly mad video of the “prophet”.

Clinton’s statements on the day’s events, released through the State Department’s website and Twitter feed, condemn “in the strongest possible terms” an attack on the U.S. consulate in Libya in Benghazi that left one American dead, but offer no condemnation of the attack on the U.S. embassy in Cairo.
Instead, Clinton reiterates an apology issued earlier today by the U.S. Embassy in Cairo–now deleted–which said: “We condemn the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims.”

“The U.S. deplores any intentional effort to denigrate the religious beliefs of others,” Clinton said. “Our commitment to religious tolerance goes back to the very beginning of our nation,” she added.
The accounts of the events in Libya are still being uncovered as the ambassador’s actions are released via the media.

Obama is thanking Egypt for securing our embassy. Why?

Obama thanks Egypt’s president over embassy protection

(Reuters) – President Barack Obama has thanked the Egyptian president for securing the U.S. Embassy during protests against a film made in the United States that mocked Prophet Mohammad and sparked worldwide demonstrations and violence. Obama’s rival in the U.S. presidential race, Mitt Romney, called for a tougher line with Egypt after protesters scaled the compound wall and tore down the U.S. flag on September 11.
Police clashed with demonstrators for four days after that incident and barriers were erected to stop them getting near the compound.
In a letter, Obama repeated Washington’s condemnation of the film and said he looked forward to working with President Mohamed Mursi to build on the “strategic partnership”, Mursi’s official Facebook page said on Sunday.

Obama is looking “forward” to his strategic partnership with Egypt. From the Jerusalem Post:

According to Morsy’s official Facebook page, Obama’s letter  repeated Washington’s condemnation of the film and said he looked forward to working with President Mohamed Mursi to build on the “strategic partnership.”

But let us not forget that this administration is proud of its foreign policy:

“We are happy to debate — and there is certainly ample time and appropriate time to debate foreign policy approaches, this president’s record on foreign policy,” Carney told reporters during the press briefing when asked if the attacks stemmed from “perceived American weakness” that stems from Obama’s leadership. “We’re very proud of the president’s record on foreign policy and are happy to make the case at the appropriate time.”

So on this Sunday, let us pray that Proverbs 16:18 predicts our near future in this upcoming election (instead of our country’s future):

Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
