There is one factor that constantly stands out as absolutely essential to a person’s chances at surviving a crisis event, and that factor is mindset. Experience and training are highly valuable, having proper tools and preps on hand is a huge advantage. But in the end, without mental toughness and the ability to adapt the most prepared person in the world will still likely bite the dust.
Mental toughness is something that can be taught, to a point. This is the entire purpose of basic training methods used in the military: To take mundane details and elevate them in the minds of trainees while wearing them down with physical punishment. The goal is to condition the mind to ignore distraction, to ignore fear and pain while focusing on the task at hand. Failure is not an option in war, just as it is not an option in survival. Those who embrace distraction and embrace failure because they think it will make things easier for them are filtered out of the recruitment pool, or the gene pool.
It is no coincidence that the US military today is dealing with some of the worst recruitment conditions they have ever seen in terms of people being physically and mentally incapable of finishing basic training. The Pentagon currently estimates that 77% of young Americans are unfit for recruitment without a waiver for obesity, drug use and mental health problems. Meaning, Gen Z is so unfit physically and mentally if there was a major war almost 80% of them would be erased from existence.
The problem has become so bad that militaries in the US and throughout the west are being forced to lower standards just to meet minimum personnel goals. One can argue that many young people don’t want to join the military anyway, but this is besides the point. Even if they wanted to, they would not be up to the task.
There are a number of reasons for this development, but I would suggest that the spread of leftist ideology among 63% of Americans age 18-29 according to polls has created a survival vacuum – A generation of mental weaklings.

I believe that this may be Brandon Smith’s best article. I strongly encourage everyone to read the entire piece. Take this information and generate the appropriate intelligence necessary for application in your local community.

Shall it be us who’ll help them not-survive faster?
This is why I have pushed trade school to family and friends.
Absolutely perfect situation when you look at it. Create a mentally weak populace combined with an entire generation that wants centralized government.
Collapse the economy on purpose throwing everyone into hell; the mentally weak won’t want to fight and survive. They along with the Gen Z will beg for centralized dictatorship that controls them from cradle to grave.
Hmm, both of my sons are veterans as I am ( 30 yr reservist ), but I sat down with my two grandsons and son in law had a long talk with them, basically I was talking them out of going into the military for any reason, but both are hunting, shooting and fishing fanatics. So far the boys haven’t shown any interest in military life ( thank goodness )
That’s good alfie, you can train those grand kids in military tactics yourself and get them ready for the future, we might need them.
total under estimation of the enemy and no hint of whom they really are.
this isn’t going to go like you think.
While I can give Brandon credit for being a sharp and witty guy I take very little confidence in his predictions due to his lack of Faith in the One that controls and guides everything that happens here on earth . He can’t see the “big picture” because he can’t see the Big Guy that art in Heaven .
These people have burnt down communities, shutdown collages and universities. Burnt books and banned free speech. Moldylocks, based stickman-the trump wars-. John brown gun club. They have helped rewrite laws and policies. They have funding from billionaires and oligarchs. They have structure and a mission statement. They have uniforms and established comms. The right has done what? Put on red hats? Ooo!
Oh well, let the chips fall where they may
I am and have been a huge fan and proponent of decentralization and self-sufficiency for a long time. It is much more difficult for a centralized enemy to defeat a decentralized enemy. Maybe impossible. Think Afghanistan, or Vietnam. Combine this with the fact that real Americans want nothing to do with the woke military, and it doesn’t matter how many weapons they have. They simply will not be able to muster the resources to implement their tyrannical control IF WE DO NOT LET THEM.
