I was in Iran pre-revolution; granted that who we met were not a random set of people, but most were warm, friendly, and fine. The same with the Persian-origin people I’ve met here.
Now we see their younger generation avoiding stepping on US flags and pleading for the US to help them throw off their dictators.
Meanwhile, President* Biden loosens sanctions and sends them money – to the mullahs who scream DEATH TO AMERICA.
I agree there is a lot that actually don’t hate Americans. They hate the American war machine used by Isreal, way too much! When Trump called them on this at a UN assembly and told them we’d no longer be the “military for hire” for these countries and “frankly they would be wiped off the face of the map if not for USA” Yep his words exactly! After that meeting came the strong hate for USA or Trump mainly.. then comes covid, etc etc..
I know good Iranian people! They are here legally and not Muslims.. or don’t let it show if they are. We have all been played against each other on purpose. This fits the narrative THEY ALL NEED to keep us divided.
Keep in mind though, a culture of people who welcome a death by rifle are actually pretty badass warriors bc of this! Most normal men here would probably run like hell with an AR or AK pointed at them, where as they will walk right into it. I read that lone survivor and it gave me an utmost respect for Marcus Luttrell. He spoke of them not being scared of rifles, BUT PISTOLS They do not like. Not sure what Kuran says about death by rifle, maybe a heaven of 100 ladies await them. Lol
I just think that is respectable I guess and having more men that way in the USA would be beneficial about now huh?
The Secretary of State saying “Happy New Year” to a Nation the U.S. has a serious (if manufactured by (((others))) ) might be construed as nothing more than an attempt to show somebody here knows at least Something of the other Nation’s Culture.
In commercial Aviation, I worked with several Persians who had fled the Revolution against the cia’s Puppet, the Shah. They all regretted having to leave their Homeland, but they knew that they and their Families faced certain Imprisonment or Death at the hands of the ‘revolutionaries’.
All of them were Honest, Intelligent, very ‘normal’ people. Religion was a Non-Issue in our Workplace, other than Praying that the old Airliners turned Cargo Planes kept Flying.
Iran is one of those regionally Important Nations that the U.S. really should have Good Relations with, but the (((tribe of parasites))) has made every effort to prevent this.
Oh, I don’t know, I think the Mullahs having their people scream DEATH TO AMERICA and working towards it might have something to do with it.
