No one cares when thousands of manufacturing employees become unemployed because their jobs are moved off shore to China, Mexico etc.. However, if 1 high reward low effort teacher’s job is terminated the world comes to an end. Who is $ John Galt?
Tremendous posting, thank you. I know someone in NJ that was a history teacher turned student counselor. He retired at 57. His pension was $52,000/yr. I think he is now over $1 million in payments. He gleefully told me years ago that he and his wife, also a teacher, were happy with their career choices. I guess so.
