No offense but if you’re planning on converting gold to dollars your assuming that the powers that be will Allow ownership of gold and Allow you to buy stuff.

In case you didn’t notice they’re going for total control of you using control of all spending, and what they will allow you to buy.

Think Chinese Social Score that controls your spending basis with how GOOD a Citizen you are.

Bad think you starve until you have Struggle sessions and re-education.

All those things I listed reduce their power over you and yours.
