Misdirection

Ask yourself what were the main issues one week ago. Let me remind you:

  1. Congress passing warrantless spying on American citizens who were not members of Congress.
  2. The House passing funding for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan military operations.
  3. The House members waving the Ukrainian flag on the floor after the vote.

There was some discussion about Mike Johnson’s complete capitulation to Democrat demands for protecting his position as speaker. This included the abandonment of his promise that no funding would be made for foreign wars without border security.

A week later, the misdirection is completed as the headlines are focused on the Trump trials, pro-Palestinian university protests and tornadoes in the midwest.

Do you not wonder how the war in Ukraine is going? Or are you wondering how much of that “aid” will be laundered into Congressional pockets from the military industrial complex since that war is lost.

Do you not wonder how many people were killed in Gaza by Israeli forces in the past week? Are you not concerned that Lebanon, Yemen, Iran and Iraq have been quiet?

Are you wondering why we have to send military aid to Taiwan since they are not at war. Or are they trying to provoke China. Did you see how China insulted Antony Blinken during his visit there this week?

Are you concerned about banks, banking failures and the collapse of the Yen? Do you think there is a reason that gold has skyrocketed in value with only a slight correction?

Or are you concerned with real life:

  1. The price of groceries
  2. The price of rent or a mortgage
  3. The price of gas
  4. The price of health care
  5. The price of car insurance.

The middle class has been eviscerated by the government and we are still misdirected, vilified and bankrupted. Keep this in mind as we are subjected to new “issues” next week.

All those things only drive home where my duty should be, God, family and friends and getting ready for total kaos. I cannot control most of what you stated, I have to stay spiritually fit first off. I did not state country for a reason, the Republic has fallen and we will not get it back without a major civil war in my opinion.

Psalm 26:5
“I have hated the congregation of evil doers and will not sit with the wicked.”
I only control what I can control. One thing I can control is my attitude. That verse is my attitude. My actions back up attitude. I reach out to those who are still asleep. We do our best and God does the rest.
Acts 19:20
“So mightily grew, [auxano], the word of God and prevailed.”
No TV, no radio, no internet. Just a bunch of committed disciples reaching out to those who have not heard. They did this with the Roman Empire hanging over their heads. Just keep on movin’!

Not misdirection, but could be a course correction if one is available to volunteer.
The Tornadoes (natural disasters) in the Midwest (or anywhere) can be quite a life altering experience. Peoples resilience and faith in God can leave quite an impression and leave one quite small and be quite a humbling experience.
