when I was in the age 15 to 30, I thought, no problem, I’ll live one way or another forever. Now that I’m looking at my 70’s, I know I won’t live forever. and maybe it is just as well, that way I’ll be with my wife again ( she passed away of brain cancer 5 yrs ago ).

Oddly enough many of these things have crossed my mind; and I can only concur with what you are saying. I won’t be able to even reach family members for the reasons you mention. I live in the only place I can possibly live and have resigned myself to the inevitable. The best I can do is deal with the situation while knowing I will eventually die by whatever means. I’m not fatalistic; and I will do my best to meet the obstacles head on. But I also realize that I’m 82 and physically limited. My brain is active and I’m pretty good at improvising. I love and believe the Lord and have no fear. Looking at the future realistically removes all fear. Thanks for the insight.

I’m not as old as you guys. I have experienced loosing two beautiful wives. I m good with God. I’m not afraid of the hereafter. Whatever is coming our way, we are on the right side.

I wonder how many of the people who don’t prepare will make it.
I’m old and disabled. I’m not capable of playing Rambo, no matter how prepared.
Not everyone who wears a seatbelt survives a wreck.
