N.J. airline passenger treated for Ebola symptoms: report

A United Airlines passenger showing symptoms of Ebola has been hospitalized after landing at Newark Liberty Airport from Sierra Leone, according to reports.

The unidentified female passenger has been described as a health care practitioner who had been working with Ebola patients in the hard-hit West African country, a source familiar with the response told NewJersey.com.

She began vomiting and exhibiting a fever on the plane before taken to Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey for treatment Monday afternoon.
