Nigel Farage quit as Ukip leader this morning as he declared he had ‘done my bit’ by winning the EU referendum.
He said the Leave campaign could never have happened without ‘the People’s army of Ukip’, adding: ‘I couldn’t possibly achieve more than I managed to get in that referendum’.
Announcing his resignation at a press conference in central London this morning, Mr. Farage said: ‘During the referendum campaign I said I want my country back. What I am saying today is I want my life back.’

Our founding fathers were British citizens (albeit second class if born in the colonies) when they stood up to tyranny. British citizens are once again standing up for their rights. Why do they see the future more clearly than we do? One reason may be that they have politicians who believe in their country instead of their lust for power. Name a politician who puts their family ahead of their “career” when they have achieved their stated goals. Or even better, name a politician who has stated a goal and kept their promise.

Rep. Walter Jones.
I heard Walter Jones speak in Raleigh. I would have to agree that he is a good man.
Thanks David.
A quick review will reveal the price he has paid for his conviction and courage. He has been removed from positions by the party and has now faced party backed challengers in two elections yet has been blessed with victory.
Just the kind of man I am proud to support.
