Now, what do you think would happen to you or I if we were to suddenly retire and lock our successors out of the financial management systems where we work(ed)? I’m thinking subpoenas, court orders, and criminal charges…

Perhaps this should be Pam Bondi’s first moment to start cracking’ heads….
While he may not have committed any crime, he can be sued for the cost and expense that it will take to get computer experts to break into the system.

Forensic auditors usually have the most boring job in the world, but do that job because they love that sort of puzzle. I’ve listened to case studies from auditors doing that job, and (inexplicably to me) they show total passion and commitment to solving the case they are working on. I can only imagine the satisfaction those teams have for digging into this situation.
they will find dozens of different types of fraud -- and dozens of whistleblowers will gratefully climb out of the woodwork, who have noticed anomalies and been powerless to do anything. Especially true if the role of inspector general has been compromised.

So,rob a bank, get away with it for a while, see the cops coming, send a letter of resignation, and avoid prosecution?
How does that work?

Reading the comments it is obvious the political class of federal appointed workers have enjoyed an inverted relationship for far too long.
Trump appears to be walking the walk, there will be plenty of fireworks. Pop some popcorn…

If this is true he should already be under arrest. Until pain is rained down on the communist cabal infecting all aspects of the federal bureaucracy all trump is to them is a bump in the road.
