While our gun-grabbing president used the terror attack in Orlando as a pretense to move on his Second Amendment-blocking agenda, a Missouri sheriff has taken a different tack. He’s waiving all concealed carry fees for residents of his county through the end of June.
According to KMOV-TV, Bates County Sheriff Chad Anderson announced the move Monday on the department’s Facebook page.
“In the wake of continued attacks against Americans on American soil. The Bates County Sheriff is waiving the cost of the CCW (carrying a concealed weapon) Permits for the rest of June,” the statement read.

The Missouri sheriff said that he was spurred on by his responsibility to his citizens.”
“I will continue to pray for peace for our country and the world,” Sheriff Anderson said. “But I will not put blinders on and act like this cannot happen here or to people we know and love.”
