Per Grok:
Focusing strictly on the immediate fiscal impact, the savings would likely be in the range of $115 billion to $140 billion annually after accounting for unemployment benefits, with $125 billion as a solid midpoint estimate. This aligns with sentiments on platforms like X, where users have speculated savings around $100 billion based on salary alone, though including benefits pushes the number higher.
Sounds like a good start. Keep it going.
But! But! They will be missed! How will the rest of us survive unless we can be taxed in order to make sure these people don’t have to work?
Fire all of them because they have been told not to respond by their supervisors and the democrats in the congress and senate. Fire them all.
Well that was easy. No more check for you. The fake ones won’t make a fuss and the other ones will squeal like a stuck hog. Music to taxpayers ears. Winning !!
Some of them won’t have responded because Kash or one of the other Trump appointees told them not to. They won’t be impacted. A small number will have been on holiday, in hospital or on maternity leave. They won’t be impacted either. (That would be unfair dismissal in any legal setting.)
Yea….a lot of the people “on the payroll” aren’t actually employed…they are just getting a regular paycheck. Smoke em out and fire them.
How many federal employees were there January 15, 2025?
2:8 million federal employees on Jan. 15, 2025. One million non responsive. Accounting for FBI, etc, that is about 1 of every 4. Yes, some are justified, but seriously? Arrests, asset forfeitures, sentencings, prison time.
