“One side or the other is going to burn the Constitution…”

Just For The Sake Of Discussion…

Consider this WRSA post RE: a possible Marxist attempt at a Constitutional Convention.

Reposted and discussed here at Kerodin’s.

So, question, just for the sake of discussion…

If a Constitutional Convention can be legally held under the right conditions, even if its intent were to abrogate/alter/change forever the documents that are supposed to be our government’s framework…

Wouldn’t someone getting in the way /opposing said Con-Con be standing against “law” and the Constitution?

How ’bout them oaths?

Oathkeepers?

Why, you’d be oath bound to support and defend the Constitution, and the legal and Constitutional Con-Con demanded by the specimens of human greatness at the Occupy Wall Street festival.

Dang.

That sucks.

Constitutionalist?

Oathkeeper?

Standing guard, protecting the proceedings.

The Resisters, those of us who refuse to give up rights that the Bill of Rights talks about?  Those of us who insist on limited government, regardless of a Con-Con?

Criminals, standing in the way of the Constitution.

That’s right.

Oathbreakers.  You.  Me.

You’d better damn well know where your loyalties lie.

I tell you this, friends…

Winter is coming…

One side or the other is going to burn the Constitution to survive.

Resist.

As stated in my article, it is time to choose which side you will stand with.

“Winter is coming…” -- I would state the American Fall or American Spring is coming. Either way, we need to prepare.

Well, my constitutional rights can’t be con-con’ed away. Those rights were mine at birth, and remain mine until I die. FWIW, I served and fought for them, for myself as well as for every other American, including every damned fool at OWS. But, I swore an Oath, and shall bear that oath both witness and service for the rest of my life, “…to defend the Constituion of the United States from all enemies, foreign and domestic…”. Well, if you try to Con-con away the Constitution I swore to defend, then I am obligated to defend it, prima facia, because once a Con-con is convened, “there are no guarantees” of what will come out of said convention.

I goess that makes me a Con-servative?
