As the Bible teaches, God does punish his children in order to make us grow spiritually. If we do not stand against evil, we will enter a period of bondage. If that is what it takes for us to appreciate the freedoms that God intended, let us pray for as short a period as possible. I pray that we temper our anger at our enemies with Godly principles in the upcoming war.

I get the meaning of the verb form. What I believe most don’t get is that the “disease” is indeed worldwide, and must be confronted wherever it is found. Otherwise, it will sneak back in and be a bigger problem than before. Are we on the same page?
