Unanswered Questions

It’s been eleven days since I posted that, and no one’s answered it.
Not one single swinging Richard out there has even made even the lamest attempt.
Pussies.
Pussies as far as the eye can see.

Then comes the soopergenius corollary:
“Nobody in my state is dead. Let the healthy people go back to work!”
So riddle me the answer to this follow-up:

C’mon, now, I keep seeing metric fucktons of people yammering that this evil, fascist lockdown must end, because reasons.

Okay.
Name them.
If you can answer either question above, you can show your work on how and why we should end the lockdowns.

How many people are you willing to kill?
Where’s the line in the sand where we finally hit too many dead?
Is it one?
Or shall we just leap straight to mass murder?
(Why should abortionists have all the fun, amirite?)
We’ve already equaled flu deaths for an average flu season and a half, in six weeks.
We did the deaths in an average flu season in just the last week.

So, do we admit re-opening without widespread testing is a major fuck-up at 50K dead?
100K?
500K?
Never??

New York was driving the bus on the last peak, and they’re the ones that ignored this until it bit their asses off.
So we should do 10, or 49, or 100 more peaks now, because people are getting antsy?

There’s no question jackholes have abused and exceeded both lawful authority and common sense, but is it okay to throw out not just the baby with the bathwater, but thousands to tens of thousands – or more – of grandmas and grandpas too? What about the people under 60 you’ll kill too? They don’t count either?

And who’s going to step up and say, “Hey, you had a good run, but I’ve got to be getting back to work, so fuck off and die.”?
You?
POTUS?
Who?

Where in the Constitution is that power enumerated?
To whom?
“He shall, from time to time, write off vast swaths of the population, because their continued existence is inconvenient for their children and grandchildren…” appears in which Article?

My Declaration of Independence reads that the reason for any government is to secure the rights to “Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness“.
When did we make that first part optional, purely at the whim of the whiny?

When you’re willing to push people into the crematorium, where does that slippery slope end?
How did that work out with Madame Guillotine?

Are we just going to start calling these “240th trimester abortions”?

Asking for 5-10M friends and neighbors.

Personally, I think the tsunami of ass-headedness is going to guarantee this explodes again (and again, and again), and kills a metric fuckton more people, and the “End the lockdowns now!” crowd still won’t give a f**k.

Sociopathy is like that.

Time will tell if I’ve got that right too, but a wise man once said “It isn’t possible to underestimate the average intelligence of Americans.

Change my mind.

For Your Consideration

I was always curious why people would support Socialism/Communism in this country. I understand that our children have been indoctrinated by our “educational” system to transfer their allegiance from self-sufficiency and God to the state. I also understand that these true believers were conditioned to blame the “rich” for an unfair distribution of wealth which translates into perceived rights and social justice in their minds

History has shown us the true end result of such a system. Look no further than Venezuela for last year’s poster child failure of Socialism. But we can look to the United States today for what our future would have been under Bernie Sanders and his cult. Constitutional rights superseded by diktat. Inept government attempts to supply people and businesses with helicopter money to buy limited resources of food, seeds, guns and medical supplies. A collapse of resource distribution, travel restrictions and the ability to work. Democrat socialist state governors seizing power is one of the hallmarks of Socialist revolutions.

Have you considered that this pandemic may be a message from God to show us what would be our future if we continued down the government’s road to serfdom? As food shortages loom on the horizon and people are fleeing the cities if they are able, how much time do we have before “two more weeks” becomes a rallying cry for revolution?

Let’s be blunt: civil war is not the correct term for the coming change of government. It is a revolution that may restore the Constitution, a new government or the balkanization of this Great Experiment. If the country does split into geographic regions, I pity the liberal west coast, upper midwest and northeast bastions of looters.

REOPENING TOO SOON COULD CAUSE “EXPONENTIAL EXPLOSION” OF US COVID-19 CASES, MIT RESEARCHERS

Reopening Too Soon Could Cause "Exponential Explosion" Of US COVID-19 Cases, MIT Researchers

Researchers at MIT trained a neural network model on data that predicted the spread of the coronavirus from late January to early March, including information on how countries implemented quarantine measures.

The researchers have a dire warning, as detailed in a preprint uploaded to medRxiv earlier this month.

Having positively noted that:

“In the case of the US, our model captures well the current infected curve growth and predicts a halting of infection spread by 20 April 2020.”

The researchers warn that reopening the US too early would lead to a catastrophe.

“We further demonstrate that relaxing or reversing quarantine measures right now will lead to an exponential explosion in the infected case count, thus nullifying the role played by all measures implemented in the US since mid March 2020,” reads the paper.

Coming a Time When the Money is No Good & Bonds are No Good – Michael Pento

Money manager and economist Michael Pento says the Federal Reserve has only massive money printing left to try to save the economy from the current and ongoing debt implosion. There is going to be lots of fresh cash needed. Pento runs down a list of just few of the things the Fed will need to spend money on and says, “We all should know more than 22 million people have lost their jobs in the last four weeks alone. That’s 22 million people, and the unemployment rate, according to me, is heading up to 15% to 17%. That, my friends, is a depression. We also have the Philly Fed (Manufacturing Index rating) come out with a -56.6. That’s a minus 56.6. That’s the worst ever. Empire State Manufacturing -78.2, which is the worst rating ever. Retail sales plunged in March 8.7%. That is also the worst reading ever. That’s the worst plunge ever, and that’s just March. In my opinion, it will be something worse in April because all of the month will be completely shut down. That’s 90% to 95% of the economy.”

Now you know why the Fed freaked out and started printing money at the highest pace ever. Pento predicts the Fed, who took $4.5 trillion onto its balance sheet as a result of the “Great Recession,” will explode “The Federal Reserve’s balance sheet to $10 trillion by end of the year.”

Pento says forget the so-called “V shaped recovery” because “you cannot simply turn back on the economy like a light switch. There’s no electricity.” On top of that, Pento points out that, “Millions of people who have been thrown out of work have taken on even more debt . . . . So, the economy is not bouncing back.”

Pento predicts a “tsunami of inflation” is coming in the not-too-distant future.

What Will You Do If They Try To Extend COVID-19 Lockdowns Into Next Year?

Authored by Michael Snyder via TheMostImportantNews.com,

We are seeing a massive backlash against the coronavirus lockdowns all over the United States, and it is likely that the protests against these lockdowns will only intensify in the days ahead.

But some elected officials are doubling down and are insisting that “shelter-in-place” orders will remain in effect in their jurisdictions for quite a few months to come.  I honestly do not know how that is possibly going to work, because after just a few weeks millions upon millions of Americans have become deeply frustrated with these lockdowns.  Trying to confine people to their homes for the foreseeable future is likely to spark tremendous explosions of anger, but that appears to be exactly what authorities intend to do in some of our largest urban areas.

For example, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio just told Fox News that he expects his city will be shut down until July or August

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio joined Bill Hemmer today on FOX News Channel.

The mayor told Hemmer he does not expect New York City to open until July or August.

Does he honestly believe that New York City residents will put up with being confined to their homes for another three or four months?

Over on the west coast, California Governor Gavin Newsom recently told the press that there probably will not be mass gatherings in his state “until we get to herd immunity and we get to a vaccine”

Once restrictions start being lifted nationwide, it is probably inevitable that we will see another huge wave of new cases and new deaths.

However, it is important to point out that this virus is going to eventually spread through most of the population no matter what measures we take.  Yes, we want to keep our hospitals from being completely overwhelmed, but we also don’t want to completely destroy our economy at the same time.

Our policy makers are going to have some very, very tough decisions in the days ahead, and the truth is that this coronavirus pandemic is just the very beginning of our problems.

The months in front of us are going to be extremely challenging, and life as you have known it will never be the same again.

The good news is that some of the coronavirus lockdowns will start to be lifted in the weeks ahead, and that will enable millions of Americans to start making a living once again.

But in other areas, politicians are warning that the lockdowns could last for many months to come.

If the politicians in your state tried to do that, what would you do?
