Here is the chart for the United States. The number of cases before March 3 were not being accurately reported. Keep in mind, large scale testing still is not being done in the US. We currently are doubling every 2-1/2 days. As testing finally begins and the results come in, expect this to get much worse.

We should be over 10,000 confirmed cases by Wednesday under current limited testing conditions. At some point, we will look back and say this was the date where the country should have been placed on lockdown. If you do not know, that date has already passed.
Perhaps I
have read too many end of the world SHTF books.
But folks
something just doesn’t add up. I know I’m not the only one who’s gut is telling
them that something is wrong. Actions around the world are not matching what we
are being told. Now those of you who stop by here on a daily basis are better
informed. We have been posting anything and everything that we think would be
beneficial information. Even with me reading and watching everything that is
being posted here and other sites, I still do not know what to make of this situation.
Never in our lifetimes has actions of this magnitude taken place. The circuses have stopped. No more baseball,golf,hockey,basketball..etc.. No more Disneyland, Disneyworld, Universal studios… etc… No more concerts and music festivals. No NasCar. Broadway closed. Movie productions halted. Marathons and Parades cancelled. Collegiate tournaments cancelled. Big business conferences cancelled. Schools are cancelled.
Is Bread
next? Bread and Circuses?
China ran
crematoriums non-stop. They welded doors shut to keep people in their homes. Do
you believe their numbers on this pandemic? Iran is digging mass graves. Do you
believe their numbers? Italy is in a world of hurt. People are being left with
their dead relatives in their homes. Yet our government is basically telling
everyone, wash your hands, we’ll make it thru this. This is why those who are
not prepared have decided to empty the shelves of the supermarkets. Why should
anyone believe the mainstream media? Why should anyone believe our government
officials?
In some of these end of the world books the government knows what is coming and they do their best to keep what is actually on the way under wraps so that they can save themselves. Is that happening now? Actions are not matching the messaging. Are the elites going into their end of the world plan while leaving the rest of us in the dark?
There are
those among us who say this is all nothing. This is all hype. There are those
who say there are under 5500 deaths worldwide, yes they happened in a
relatively short time frame but it is far from what flu does worldwide each
year. The it’s no worse than the flu crowd. Maybe they are right. But have
actions like this ever happened before over anything in our lifetimes?
Here’s what
I know. Life will be Normal until the day that it is Not.
Is this a
SHTF moment? I don’t know. Many say yes. Many say no.
My gut tells
me that things are not right. My gut tells me that something is up.
Listen to
your gut. Do what you think is best for you and yours. Ignore those that are
contradictory to what you feel.
I hope you are prepared. Facing the unknown is perhaps the worst of it all right now. Society is hanging by a thread right now. Live your life. Do what you think is best. Be cautious. Read and watch everything you can right now. Decide for yourself. Most of all Pray.
May this all be nothing. May this all blow over. I hope so. But my gut tells me that Life as we know it is about to drastically change.
Therefore strong peoples will glorify you; cities of ruthless nations will fear you.(Isaiah 25:3)
Isaiah sees the day coming when all the nations — representatives from all the people groups — will no longer be at odds with Yahweh, the God of Israel and his Messiah, whom we know to be Jesus.
They will no longer worship Bel or Nebo or Molech or Allah or Buddha or utopian social programs or capitalistic growth possibilities or ancestors or animistic spirits. Instead they will come in faith to the banquet on God’s mountain.
And they will have the veil of sorrow removed and death shall be swallowed up and the reproach of God’s people will be removed and tears shall be gone forever.
That’s the setting for understanding the vision of Isaiah 25:3: “Therefore strong peoples will glorify you; cities of ruthless nations will fear you.” In other words, God is stronger than the “strong peoples” and he is so powerful and so gracious that in the end he will turn ruthless nations to revere him.
So the picture Isaiah gives us is one of all nations turned to God in worship, a great banquet for all the peoples, the removal of all suffering and grief and reproach from the nations, who have become his people, and the final putting away of death forever.
This triumph is sure because God is doing it. Therefore we can be certain of it.
Not one life spent in the cause of world evangelization is spent in vain. Not one prayer or one dollar or one sermon or one letter of encouragement or one little light shining in some dark place — nothing in the cause of this advancing kingdom is in vain.
The triumph is sure.

Looking at Ben Hunt’s “case, case, case, cluster, cluster…BOOM!” progression for covid-19, more and more countries are now entering the late cluster stage. That means, expect Italy, Iran, South Korea, Japan, Spain, France, Germany, the US and a number of others to enter the “BOOM!” phase shortly.
That’s when hospitals become hopelessly overwhelmed, deaths begin skyrocketing, and government mass lockdowns get enacted. We’re not saying this to scare you. We just want you emotionally prepared for what’s likely coming. Look at the phase change in attitude that has happened in the past 2 weeks. The public went from complacent to panicked.
The markets tipped from greed to extreme fear. That’s with less than 2 thousand known covid-19 cases in the US. What will be like if the models are correct, and we have *4 million* cases in two months?
Hopefully you watched our update yesterday in which Chris walked through the Adjustment Response progression. Make sure you and those around you are taking the time now to process your own, so that when the real crisis gets started, you’re ready to face it.
The time to prepare is now over. Now it’s about managing through what’s coming. Get ready. And stay safe!

President Trump’s announcement today was well received by Wall Street. It was a good production and I think it went a long way to alleviate fear concerning the pandemic. What did I take away:
The show of support and cooperation from corporate America for manufacture and distribution of testing sites was very good.
The support of corporate America to restock the supply chain was good but specifics were not given.
Putting the country in a state of emergency was downplayed except for the ability to streamline aid and print more money.
The shoring up of the oil industry was a red herring. Topping off the Strategic Petroleum Reserve will give the country just under 5 more days of gasoline. Since we are energy independent, this was a means to support the price of oil.
The specifics of new legislation from Nancy Pelosi were not ready at the time of the announcement. Here is the first release of details released later.
Dr. Fauci stated that with these new testing measures, he hopes that the virus will burn itself out in 8-9 weeks.
President Trump bypassed the Deep State CDC in order to initiate action to address the pandemic.
I give the President high marks for this round. I pray that he pulls a rabbit out of a proverbial hat for his next announcement since nothing was mentioned that would help alleviate the impact of the virus. If the supply chain is not restored in a timely fashion (4 weeks?), what will be the impact on the economy?
Although I feel better after the announcement, the bottom line is still the same: we are facing a national pandemic which will have a large number of deaths. I know that fear and ignorance are our worst enemies in this fight. I pray that we have the necessary faith to learn and grow from this lesson.
The City of Champaign, IL. will hold an Emergency Meeting this
morning to pass an Ordinance related to the “Emergency Created by the
Impact of the COVID-19 Virus” – better known as the “Coronavirus” or the
“Wuhan Virus.”
The City proposes to grant extraordinary powers to the Mayor, which include (starting on page 8 of the below pdf):
Violating parts of the Open Meetings Act
Ban sale of firearms and ammunition
Ban sale of any alcohol
Closing of all bars, taverns, liquor stores, etc
Ban sale or giving away of gasoline or other liquid flammable or
combustible products in any container other than a gasoline tank
permanently fixed to a motor vehicle
Direct the shutoff of power, water, gas, etc
Take possession of private property and obtain full title to same
Prohibit or restrict ingress and egress to and from the City
One thing noticeably absent? The Mayor will not have the power to prohibit the sale of marijuana…
Two days after Iranian authorities acknowledged a local outbreak of the novel coronavirus, they began digging burial trenches so large they can be seen from space.
The Washington Postreported that massive burial trenches are being dug at the Behesht-e Masoumeh complex in Qom, about 80 miles south of Tehran. Within a month of its beginning, the two 100-yard trenches were visible by satellite. These trenches will supplement existing efforts to inter the rising death toll in Qom.
According to official reports, more than 10,000 Iranians suffer from the coronavirus. At the time of this writing, 429 deaths have been confirmed. And while only 846 of the confirmed cases exist among the 1.2 million people populating Qom, their response could suggest the tally — or the expected one, if not — is much higher than the numbers being released.
A video within the article, shared by “BBC’s Persian service,” paints a dire picture as it pans across the mass graves:
“A worker told me that they must have buried more than 250 coronavirus victims so far,” the caption reads. As the narrator walks across the cemetery grounds, he points the camera down to highlight what he says are new burials. “These are all graves and they are fresh,” he says, at one point using a gloved index finger to direct the viewer to the plots on the horizon. “These are all from the last few days,” he continues. “And as you can see, it goes on until the end.”
As the novel coronavirus spreads, the World Health Organization has officially declared “COVID-19” a “pandemic.” President Trump has responded with economic aid, an increase in efforts to test the sick and develop a vaccine, and a call for nonpartisan national unity.
I like Candace Owens but she should stay in her lane. Math and medical projections are not her strong suit. Her tweet outlining her errors has been deleted. But this illustrates a good point: too many people are making false statements concerning this pandemic. Fear and ignorance do not seem to be in short supply as everyone has an opinion (most with no scientific background) concerning the facts as they see it.
Which brings me to the point of this post. I give great leniency to comments on this site and rarely censor or delete comments or people. As I have said before, I do have the background to understand this corona virus and make statements based on calculations, facts or projections based on current numbers of infected. I have also said that the overwhelming majority of people will survive. But fear and ignorance have consequences and I will no longer approve comments without scientific facts, supporting data for conclusions or personal attacks.
As I also have said before, if we had public virtue, we would have already self-quarantined the country and been on our way to the virus’s eventual burn out. It is strange that the government which states we have the best medical system in the world cannot even test people.
In order for us to become stronger, we must learn from our mistakes. Instead, we fight among ourselves. Imagine fighting a civil war to restore the honor of our country’s core principles based on our actions today?
Yesterday the World Health Organization officially declared Covid-19 a pandemic (like we didn’t already know this.) As well, President Trump addressed the nation, closing American borders to all flights from Europe and announcing some ways he intends to help the people of the United States financially.
In unofficial terms, this is sh#t getting real.
Things are going to get worse – possibly much worse – before they get better. Illness completely aside, this will cause financial problems that many folks will feel for years after the pandemic is over.
The biggest question people are asking now is, “When?”
When will the US begin to see measures being taken to lockdown areas or put people into quarantine? What would that lockdown look like? How long will quarantines last?
We can look at how this has gone in other countries to get a general idea of the pattern. Of course, we’re Americans and we do things differently. Our geography is quite different as is our population density. So this isn’t an exact science. We’re looking at patterns to predict (not in a crystal ball kind of way but an analysis kind of way) what could happen here.
All the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory. (2 Corinthians 1:20)
Prayer is the place where the past and future are linked repeatedly in our lives. I mention this here because Paul links prayer with God’s Yes in this verse in a striking way.
In 2 Corinthians 1:20, he says (with choppy Greek that comes through in choppy English), “That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.” Let’s try to smooth that out.
Here’s what he is saying: “Therefore, because of Christ, we say Amen to God in our prayers to show that God gets the glory for the future grace we are asking for and counting on when we pray.”
If you’ve ever wondered why Christians say Amen at the end of our prayers, and where that custom comes from, here’s the answer. Amen is a word taken straight over into Greek from Hebrew without any translation, just like it has come into English and most other languages without any translation.
In Hebrew, it was a very strong affirmation(see Numbers 5:22; Nehemiah 5:13; 8:6) — a formal, solemn, earnest “I agree,” or “I affirm what was just said,” or “This is true.” Most simply, “Amen” means a very earnest Yes in the context of addressing God.
Now notice the connection between the two halves of 2 Corinthians 1:20. The first half says, “All the promises of God find their Yes in him.” The second half says, “That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.”
When we realize that “Amen” and “Yes” mean the same thing, here’s what the verse says: In Jesus Christ, God says his Yes to us through his promises; and in Christ we say our Yes to God through prayer.

The above chart from Chris Martenson accurately describes the country’s reaction to the pandemic. Notice that facts and faith are not included. Let’s get to stage 6 together and overcome this crisis. What other options do we have that are honorable?
Update: Several comments below address the implementation of martial law. The above message and this post do not mention martial law. However, if it takes a declaration of martial law to control this pandemic, I have no objection. At the end of 30 days when the emergency is over, we will have a decision to make if the government does not end it. If this is the trigger for CWII, so be it. No patriot will live under tyranny.
