When The Market Closes?

In another press conference, Washington State Gov. Jay Inslee said Tuesday that the entire state of Washington might need to be quarantined because of the outbreak. With so many expected to be out of work, Inslee said the state would be expanding unemployment benefits to cover anybody who misses work because of the virus.

Trinity Academy of Raleigh closes after parent tests positive for coronavirus

North Carolina educational leaders and government officials are evolving their response to the novel coronavirus as its citizens stay on guard while carrying out their day-to-day routines.

Trinity Academy of Raleigh is closed Tuesday in light of a parent of a student testing positive for COVID-19. An email from the school sent Monday night says the parent is following the Center for Disease Control’s guidelines and is quarantined at home.

“The health and safety of our families is a top priority,” said Timothy Bridges, Head of School at Trinity. “The Center for Disease Control has recommended that schools consult with their local Health Department in moments like this.”

For Your Consideration President Trump

I was forwarded this letter sent to President Trump concerning Lyin’ Lynda Bennett’s bid for the US House of Representatives in North Carolina:

Mr. President,

It has come to our attention that you unknowingly may be under some undue influence to throw your support behind a candidate in the run off for a Representative in Congress as a result of our recent primary elections here in District 11 of North Carolina.

Sir, we ask that you not heed the erroneously placed fervor for one of the candidates before the run off totals are in. These are the reasons behind our concern:

1. There have been some less-than-honorable actions by those involved trying to assure the outcome of the election BEFORE We the People had the opportunity to vote.

2. Local response in the District 11 area reveals questions and concerns across the board.

3. Any further interference in this election before We The People get to vote very well may result in not only the loss of this seat to a democrat, but perhaps North Carolina as a whole will be at risk to “go blue”.

As Constitutional Conservatives who have “earned our spurs” in this long life time, we urge you to please allow the people to vote their hearts in this run off for the Republican Nominee in the November election. Once those results are in in mid’ May, you certainly will have our blessings to endorse the Republican nominee.

Thank you, President Trump, for your attention to and actions on the behalf of We The People.

The Honey Badger Virus

Image result for honey badger arrows

Chris Martenson has labelled the SARS-COV-2 virus as “the Honey Badger virus” because nothing can stop it. But do not tell Donald Trump. He believes the virus can be eradicated by giving tax breaks to the people and small businesses. As the market responds accordingly (up) to a concept that has no basis in any proposed legislation, the honey badger virus total of infected has increased over 3500 (10:00 AM) since his press conference.

Let Us Adore the Lamb
By John Piper

I began to weep loudly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or to look into it. (Revelation 5:4)

Have you ever thought of your prayers as the aroma of heaven? This is the picture we get when we read Revelation 5. Here is a glimpse of life in heaven.

In Revelation 5, we see God almighty on the throne with a scroll in his hand. The scroll had seven seals. They all had to be pulled off before the scroll could be opened.

I think the opening of the scroll represents the final days of history, and the pulling off of the seven seals represents the kind of history we will pass through as we move toward those days.

At first, John wept that there was no one worthy to open the scroll and look into it (Revelation 5:4). But then one of the elders in heaven says, “Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals” (Revelation 5:5).

By dying on the cross, Jesus had earned the right to open the remainder of redemptive history and lead his people victoriously through it.

In the next verse, the Lion is pictured as a Lamb, “standing, as though it had been slain” (Revelation 5:6). Isn’t this a beautiful image of Jesus’s victory on the cross? Standing, not lying, though it had been slain!

It is as sure as though a lion had devoured the foe — but the way he achieved the victory was by letting the foe slay him like a lamb!

So, now the Lamb is worthy to take the scroll of redemptive history from God’s hand and open it. This is such a kingly act that the twenty-four elders of heaven (God’s worship council, as it were) fall down before the Lamb in adoration.

And do you know what the golden bowls of incense are? Revelation 5:8 says they are “the prayers of the saints.” Does not this mean that our prayers are the aroma of heaven, sweet smelling before the throne of God and before the Lamb?

I am strengthened and encouraged to pray all the more often and all the more vigorously when I think that my prayers are being assembled and stored up in heaven and offered to Christ repeatedly in heavenly acts of worship.

Let’s all bless and honor and adore Christ here below with our prayers, and then doubly rejoice that the worship council of heaven offers them again to Christ as sweet smelling incense before the Lamb who was slain.

Coronavirus: New Data Introduces (Some) Hope

What should I do to protect myself from the coronavirus? How long will the threat last? Will it go away when summer gets here? Will we eventually developed ‘herd immunity’ and, if so, when will it start to kick in?

These are just some of the many questions viewers and readers like you are asking us, and Chris does his best to address these as best he can in today’s video. And while the virus continues its global exponential spread, we are starting to see some positive news begin to trickle in.

For example, it’s looking like the majority of folks who get the virus will not be contagious for as long as previously feared. And, it looks like good ol’ hand soap is surprisingly effective at inactivating covid-19. So wash your hands — a lot!!

While the data continues to show the vast bulk of coronavirus infections lie ahead of us, there is much each of us can do to avoid becoming a victim ourselves, and to help slow the outbreak’s rate of spread.

According to Looney, the teacher had “a lot of contact with students they serve and with additional staff members.”

Leaked medical conference documents reveal US hospitals preparing for 96 million coronavirus infections and 480,000 deaths

Leaked documents from a lecturer at the American Hospital Association (AHA) conference in February reveal that US hospitals are preparing for:

– 96 million coronavirus infections
– 4.8 million hospitalizations
– 480,000 deaths in the USA

Based on the numbers from the leaked presentation, Dr. Lawler expects the coronavirus to infect around 30% of the U.S. population and result in only a 5% hospitalization rate. In contrast, Dr. Fauci of the NIH has estimated that 15 – 20% of coronavirus patients would need hospitalization, meaning that the estimate of “4.8 million hospitalizations” may actually be over 15 million.

By April 4th, 2020, if no travel restrictions are put in place:

  • 8,645 actively infected and transmitting on this day
  • 580 cumulative dead since day one, with 58 deaths on this day
  • 5,432 cumulative recovered since day one

By May 4th, 2020, if no travel restrictions are put in place:

  • 122,529 actively infected and transmitting on this day
  • 10,432 cumulative dead since day one, with 910 deaths on this day
  • 85,332 cumulative recovered since day one

By June 4th, 2020, if no travel restrictions are put in place:

  • 1.7 million actively infected and transmitting on this day
  • 153,000 cumulative dead since day one, with 12,960 deaths on this day
  • 1.2 million cumulative recovered since day one

By July 4th, 2020, if no travel restrictions are put in place:

  • 24.3 million actively infected and transmitting on this day
  • 2.16 million cumulative dead since day one, with 183,000 deaths on this day
  • 17.1 million cumulative recovered since day one
