“Because You’d Be In Jail!” – The Real Reason Democrats Are Pushing Trump Impeachment?

Authored by Robert Bridge via The Strategic Culture Foundation,

In the time-honored tradition of Machiavellian statecraft, all of the charges being leveled against Donald Trump to remove him from office – namely, ‘abuse of power’ and ‘obstruction of congress’ –are essentially the same things the Democratic Party has been guilty of for nearly half a decadeabusing their powers in a non-stop attack on the executive branch. Is the reason because they desperately need a ‘get out of jail free’ card?

Due to the non-stop action in Washington of late, few believe that the present state of affairs between the Democrats and Donald Trump are exclusively due to a telephone call between the US leader and the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. That is only scratching the surface of a story that is practically boundless.

“Because you’d be in jail”

On October 9, 2016, in the second televised presidential debates between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, Trump accused his Democratic opponent of deleting 33,000 emails, while adding that he would get a “special prosecutor and we’re going to look into it…” To this, Clinton said “it’s just awfully good that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country,” to which Trump deadpanned, without missing a beat, “because you’d be in jail.”

Now if that remark didn’t get the attention of high-ranking Democratic officials, perhaps Trump’s comments at a Virginia rally days later, when he promised to “drain the swamp,” made folks sit up and take notice.

At this point the leaks, hacks and everything in between were already coming fast and furious. On October 7, John Podesta, Clinton’s presidential campaign manager, had his personal Gmail account hacked, thereby releasing a torrent of inside secrets, including how Donna Brazile, then a CNN commentator, had fed Clinton debate questions. But of course the crimes did not matter to the mendacious media, only the identity of the alleged messenger, which of course was ‘Russia.’

With AG report due for release in early spring, needless to say some Democrats are very nervous as to its finding. So nervous, in fact, that they might just be willing to go to the extreme of removing a sitting president to avoid its conclusions.

Whatever the verdict, 2020 promises to be one very interesting year.

Governor Blackface Northam Picks A Fight With Virginians

Posted in Editorial | Comments Off on Governor Blackface Northam Picks A Fight With Virginians

Walter E. Williams Warns Virginia About Gov. Ralph Northam’s Gun Registry Plan

Virginia Democratic Gov. Ralph Northam will have much to apologize for if he signs into law a bill that attacks Virginia citizens’ Second Amendment rights. The measure is Senate Bill 16, which would ban “assault” firearms and certain firearm magazines.

Since Democrats have seized control of Virginia’s General Assembly in the last election, they are likely to push hard for strict gun control laws.

Those laws will have zero impact on Virginia’s criminals and a heavy impact on Virginia’s law-abiding citizens who own, or intend to own, semi-automatic weapons for hunting or their protection. As a friend once explained to me, “I carry a gun because I can’t carry a cop.”

I am proud of my fellow Virginians‘ response to the attack on their Second Amendment rights.

Firearm owners in the state have joined with sheriffs to form Second Amendment sanctuary counties. That means local authorities will be required to protect Second Amendment rights in the face of any attempt by Virginia’s General Assembly to abrogate those rights.

Eighty-six counties – over 90 percent – in the Virginia commonwealth have adopted Second Amendment sanctuary resolutions. Spotsylvania County’s board of supervisors voted unanimously to approve a resolution declaring that county police will not enforce state-level gun laws that violate Second Amendment rights.

However, Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring said such resolutions can’t overturn state laws.

“It is my opinion that these resolutions have no legal effect,” Herring said in a letter issued Friday. “It is my further opinion that localities and local constitutional officers cannot nullify state laws and must comply with gun violence prevention measures that the General Assembly may enact.”

Page County Sheriff Chad Cubbage said: “Be it be known that the Page sheriff hereby declares Page County, Virginia, as a ‘Second Amendment Sanctuary,’ and that the Page County sheriff hereby declares its intent to oppose any infringement on the right of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms.”

Virginians must heed the words and capture the spirit of their two most distinguished citizens, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison, who wrote the Kentucky and Virginia Resolutions. These resolutions referred to the federal government but are just as applicable to state governments in principle.

They said: “Resolved, That the several States composing the United States of America, are not united on the principle of unlimited submission to their General Government … and whensoever the General Government assumes undelegated powers, its acts are unauthoritative, void, and of no force.”

James Madison, in Federalist Paper No. 46 wrote that the Constitution preserves “the advantage of being armed, which the Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation … (where) the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms.”

Thomas Jefferson wrote: “What country can preserve its liberties if its rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms.”

Too many Americans believe the Second Amendment grants Americans the right to own firearms only to go hunting and for self-protection. The framers of our Constitution had no such intent in mind.

Biden Considers Obama For Supreme Court Nomination

Image result for biden clown

Joe Biden’s campaign trip through eastern Iowa on Saturday was met with a rather unusual conversation with reporters.

The Wall Street Journal’s Ken Thomas said that reporters asked Biden in Washington, Iowa, if he would ever consider nominating former President Barack Obama to the Supreme Court if he was elected president in 2020.

Biden responded by saying: “If he’d take it, yes.”

A Wise Man

Image result for Never take counsel of your fears

Proverbs 9:10

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

Since Thomas Jackson was a very religious man, I have no doubt that his quote was directed at earthly fears. Prudence, wisdom, morality and Faith should be the main considerations of our actions. Once evaluated, if action is required then action must be taken. As our Forefathers did when they wrote and signed the Declaration of Independence.

As for today’s issues: we only need to remember that 535 people in the Federal government represent the citizens of the 50 states. When this small body is usurped by outside interests, personal greed and tyranny, then it is time for the people to put them back into their box. Along with their conspirators in the FBI, DOJ, NSA, CIA and DNI.

Virginia Gun Control Incarceration Budget FACT CHECK

Virginia increases corrections budget in preparation for arrests of gun owners, police: Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam is not even trying to disguise what he is doing anymore. Northam, who somehow escaped a “blackface” scandal (probably because Democrats get special dispensation in these matters), along with anti-gun Democrat allies in the Virginia General Assembly, have passed a series of gun-control measures that many in the state believe will lead to confiscation of firearms. With help from anti-gun zealot Michael Bloomberg’s group, Everytown for Gun Safety, Democrats took control of the Virginia House last November, and have wasted no time implementing Bloomberg’s agenda in the Commonwealth. Everytown contributed over $1.5 million dollars to Virginia Democrats during that election cycle. LET has reported over the past few weeks that gun owners in Virginia, along with some law enforcement officials have become increasingly concerned that these series of laws are in essence a run on the Second Amendment. An overwhelming majority of counties in Virginia have declared themselves “Second Amendment Sanctuaries.” In response, Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring said that the resolutions establishing sanctuaries were “part of an effort by the gun lobby to stoke fear,” and added that the resolutions “have no legal effect.” Whoever all of this is incorrect according to Snopes. So disregard everything you just read.

The Left is Setting Up the Narrative for CW2: Mean White People for Trump.

‘Nothing Less Than a Civil War’: These White Voters on the Far Right See Doom Without Trump

GOLDEN VALLEY, Ariz. — Great American Pizza & Subs, on a highway about 100 miles southeast of Las Vegas, was busier and Trumpier than usual. On any given day it serves “M.A.G.A. Subs” and “Liberty Bell Lasagna.” The “Second Amendment” pizza comes “loaded” with pepperoni and sausage. The dining room is covered in regalia praising President Trump.

But this October morning was “Trumpstock,” a small festival celebrating the president. The speakers included the local Republican congressman, Paul Gosar, and lesser-known conservative personalities. There was a fringe 2020 Senate candidate in Arizona who ran a website that published sexually explicit photos of women without their consent; a pro-Trump rapper whose lyrics include a racist slur aimed at Barack Obama; and a North Carolina activist who once said of Muslims, “I will kill every one of them before they get to me.”

A Message from the Good Doctor

Image result for richmond va protest 2020 2a

My initial response to hearing the call for protest on January 20 in Richmond, VA, was to saddle up about a dozen buddies, rent a 15-passenger van, and go. Seriously, show up and be part of the presence. Our gut reactions to such things are to join and support those of like heart and mind. But after a moment taken to pause and consider, I’m staying home.
Call me what you will, but hear me out first. Harken back to Charlottesville, and what happened there. Read Matt Bracken’s Professor Raoul X and realize how easy it would be for the opposition (the Left, Antifa, FedGov….pick your player) to plant a false flag, or two, or five, in digital camo among the protesters. And how would that go for our side?

This protest was announced weeks before January 20 with big commotion, giving the opposition a generous allotment of time to plan its counter, just like Charlottesville. And what did the authorities do there? Everything they could to disrupt the protest all the way and up to bloodshed, while maintaining a facade of plausible deniability. No doubt even arranging a last-minute gathering such as did Joseph Warren on April 18, 1775 leading to Captain John Parker giving the order to fire the next day, would be fraught with unwanted exposure. OPSEC is often cast to the wind in such endeavors, and Warren and Parker didn’t have to deal with the worldwide web and the NSA.

Our side, those who seek to preserve 2A/liberty/freedom and turn back tyranny, will not experience one shred of favorable media exposure. Not. A. Bit. Zero. Zip. Nada. It’s like Lucy holding the football for Charlie Brown, and we’re Charlie.

We all know that the opposition wants, deeply, at their core, to provoke a response that gives them the cover of moral outrage. The cover that their own lack of personal courage mandates that they must have. Herschel gives good reason to view your local Virginia sheriff with a jaundiced eye, so the desire to push back at the Capitol on Inauguration Day, before the process is started, before the legislation is even formally introduced and voted on, before it gets to the level of local enforcement, is completely understandable. You can only retreat so far before your back’s against a wall, no other option is left, and it’s you or them. Sometimes, though, it’s important to let your opponent make the next first mistake

Image result for never interrupt your enemy

I don’t have the perfect solution, the perfect response at my fingertips right now. There probably isn’t one. The opposition never rests, they never stand down, largely because the rest of us have to go to work. They will not stop; we all know this and we all know, as TL Davis implies in Newsletter 19, sooner or later somewhere will be the point of initial conflict. Maybe Virginia will fulfill his prophesy; maybe not. I just hope and pray that the pro2A protesters remain calm, remain peaceful, weather the withering onslaught directed at them, and if a mistake is to be made, it’s the opposition that makes it. We cannot yield forever and survive.

So, I’ll be here, attending a local protest if there is one (supposedly so). I can do more good for this amalgamation of movements with my skill set here, for now. I pray for calm among my brothers. We need to recognize who Lucy is, quit being Charlie Brown, and start channeling Sun Tzu.

God help us all.

Think About It

Image result for Public virtue cannot exist in a Nation without private Virtue, and public Virtue is the only Foundation of Republics

“Tis substantially true that virtue or morality is a necessary spring of popular government. The rule indeed extends with more or less force to every species of free Government. Who that is a sincere friend to it can look with indifference upon attempts to shake the foundation of the fabric?” George Washington (Farewell Address)

John Adams said, “Public virtue cannot exist in a Nation without private Virtue, and public Virtue is the only Foundation of Republics.” Self-government, or democracy, can only be perpetuated by the self-governed. Henry Ward Beecher said: “There is no liberty to men who know not how to govern themselves.” Goethe stated: “What is the best government? — That which teaches us to govern ourselves.” Self-governance consists of self-regulation of our behavior and passions.

This premise is as good as any other to delineate the two sides fighting for the soul of the country. Can you name a Democrat politician whom you feel has “private virtue”?

A Disheartening Email

Image result for non player character

I received the following email today with the subject line “Disheartening”:

Had a former coworker stop by today… He’s 28 years old. Doesn’t see a problem in the world. Even after pointing out several things that were going on, he just shrugged and said doesn’t bother me, I’m doing fine.

During the Presbyterian War, one third of the colonists felt the same way. They did not care who won the war; they only cared about themselves. And that has not changed today. We do not fight (passively now and actively in the future) for self-serving individuals. We fight the Deep State coup supporters for our children.

I know it is disheartening to meet or interact with people who feel no sense of public virtue. They do not see the consequences of their apathy. If we win, they will not change and they will still profit off of the sacrifices of patriots. If we lose, they will either become collaborators or realize their mistake once it is too late.

Time and resources are too valuable to waste on this type of individual. Just keep in mind that there are three types of people in our country: patriots with public virtue, insurrectionists supporting Communism and non-player characters (NPCs).

They Are Going To Cheat

Federal Judge announces she’s going to block Voter ID in North Carolina…

NBC NEWS – Republican attempts to require photo identification to vote in North Carolina are being thwarted again by judges hearing arguments that the mandate is tainted by bias that would deter black and Latino residents.

A federal court announced that next week U.S. District Judge Loretta Biggs will formally block a photo ID requirement scheduled to begin in 2020. Unless the upcoming preliminary injunction is successfully appealed, the requirement will be halted until a lawsuit filed by the state NAACP and others is resolved.

Thursday’s short written notice from the federal court in Winston-Salem previewed Biggs’ order because state election officials were planning to expand efforts to educate voters about the ID law within days. Although the mandate would be carried out beginning with the March 3 primary, the requirement would actually start in just a few weeks with mail-in absentee ballot filers, who also would have to provide an ID copy.

The mandate identified several types of qualifying photo IDs and allowed people lacking one to get a free ID card or to fill out a form while voting explaining their “reasonable impediment” to obtaining one.

“…tainted by bias that would deter black and Latino residents…” I’ve just one question: Do black and Latino residents buy alcohol?

These arguments of racial bias are and will always be ridiculous. Heck, the law allows people who don’t already have a valid photo ID “to get a free ID card”. FREE!

It continues…

Voter ID was actually carried out in North Carolina’s 2016 primary elections as the result of a 2013 law. But a federal appeals court struck down several portions of the law in July 2016, saying photo ID and other voting restrictions were approved with intentional racial discrimination in mind.

Republicans strongly disagreed with that decision and put a constitutional amendment on the November 2018 ballot — a strategy designed to give the idea more legal and popular standing. The amendment passed with 55% of the vote. The legislature approved a separate law in December 2018 detailing how to implement that amendment. Lawsuits challenging that new law were filed immediately.

Lawyers for the state and local NAACP chapters told Biggs in a court brief that the latest version of voter ID is a “barely disguised duplicate” of the 2013 voter ID law and “carries the same discriminatory intent as its predecessor,” likely violating the U.S. Constitution.

The people voted on and passed Voter ID and yet leftists are still using the courts to stymie these common sense laws. It’s incredible. Why don’t they just admit that they can’t win without cheating!
