We want to share with you information about our new creation “Bryson Village” in Bryson City, NC.  We restored the “Historic Bryson House” built in 1929 by the grandson of the founder of Bryson City and added 7 brand new 1 and 2 bedroom luxury cabins on the creek that runs through the property.  www.BrysonVillage.com

Bryson City is home to the Smoky Mountain Railroad and centrally located for an incredible number of outdoor activities.  Bryson Village is located roughly 3 city blocks from downtown Bryson City.  You can walk to the train, restaurants, shops and breweries.

If you want to venture through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park – the most visited US Park with more than 11,000,000 visitors last year – we are less than 15 miles away from the southern entrance.  If water sports are your thing, we have 3 great clear water mountain lakes close by.  Here is a link to just some of the things there are to do in the area.  https://www.brysonvillage.com/smoky-mountain-cabin-rentals/

So why am I promoting a rental business in Bryson City? Pat McConnell has been very instrumental in WNC for helping me and many others on multiple preparedness paths. Besides being centrally located in Bryson City, NC, the houses are new and I know that Pat went all out in their construction.

“Horror” In Ghana As A Third Of Banks Shutter, Sparking Unprecedented Bank Run

It’s bad enough that drought-like conditions and rapid population growth have stoked a shortage of water and other vital resources in Ghana, a country that boasts one of the fastest growing economies on Earth (if it is still poor). But a banking crisis is just now roiling the country’s economy, and has wiped out $1.6 billion.

The run left investment companies holding too any illiquid assets – unlisted bonds, private debt placements etc. – and now securities regulators in Ghana are trying to figure out who broke what securities laws, and to what degree. Even the SEC has gotten involved.

More…

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What would you do if a long term bank holiday was declared? Ghana’s paltry $1.6 billion is nothing compared to Deutsche Bank’s $49 trillion derivative exposure. If Deutsche Bank fails, so do at least 3 major TBTF US banks. I understand that most people cannot grasp the tenuous situation of the world’s banks due to the large amount of money involved. For a better perspective, the amount of money involved with Deutsche Bank is 30,625 times larger than the money involved in Ghana.
If you cannot grasp the exponential difference, at least get your money out of the banks and into a mattress or gold.
The Obama Administration Is Being Exposed
Will the truth about the extreme corruption of the government by the Obama administration be exposed? Although the coverups continue, will we be able to handle the truth?
T.L Davis Newsletter
As Solzhenitsyn wrote: We didnt love freedom enough. I find myself in the same position as he, not yet in a camp, but knowing that, by the rhetoric of the left, that is a goal they strive to achieve, to put someone in a camp, to kill as much of someone as they can, that is the communist spirit. They are not educated well enough to recognize that all communists have persecuted their own people, who were occasionally minorities. That is how the left works. It does not care about right or wrong, just or unjust it cares only about us and them. The us can commit any crime, do any violence, debilitate others and act with prejudice and racism at will without fear of consequence, but a “them must not look in an insolent manner, be prideful or even attempt to engage socially with an us.
The left does not care that it is everything that it claims to hate, that it perfectly models all of the attributes of their enemies, the hypocrisy and stupidity of it does not even occur to those accustomed to looking at the world through funhouse glasses.
But, it is not the left that concerns me, it is the right, it is the republican, the patriot, because there has to be resistance to insanity. Look how far the left has twisted society into the ugly mass it has become. It is the complacency of the right that is the real danger to the republic. It is the right that is cowering in their homes praying that the knock on the door is not for them.
There are those standing up for the rest, taking the slings and arrows and getting doxed, but not enough, not nearly enough. The time to be polite and to hold ones political views to themselves is over. The capitulation of the right has already led to the popularity of actual, open communists in government who have stated their intent to transform America. Barack Obama started the transformation and it was supposed to be followed up by and completed by Hillary Clinton, someone who knows how to use a death squad for effect.
The election of Donald Trump slowed down their transformation, but it did not deter their intent, they simply chose new leaders from the House to shove out front and declare their bold intent to subvert and kill all in their way
Some Republicans think that if there were someone else in the White House that the left would not be so aggravated, so emboldened, it is only because Trump has said such incendiary things that the left is as motivated as they are now. Nothing could be further from the truth. The left is motivated, because the left is always motivated, always dedicated to hating its enemies and destroying those in opposition to their communist agenda. Donald Trump might make it easier, but in fact all he really does is make the left remove their masks of civility; he exposes them for the hate-filled, murderous people they are.
That is why the silence of the Republicans has so damaged this nation; has allowed a few individuals to cause such upheaval. Without resistance of some kind, there is only advancement by those who hate America and white people in general, it seems. Somehow, the white Marxists get a pass for being white, but not the white patriots. This is a classic leftist maneuver around sanity and cohesive thought. This is the sort of hypocrisy that needs to be pointed out and ridiculed at every opportunity.
Do you love freedom? Do you know what that is? People misunderstand the Bill of Rights. They were not designed to guarantee anything, support anything, they were supposed to be used as a gauge of tyranny. Those ten items suggested to a people that a proper government, a benevolent government would refrain from encroaching on those areas of an individuals life. To the extent that a government cannot restrain itself from imposing on those areas, is the degree to which it is a tyrannical government. Re-read the Bill of Rights and see how free you are.
A government that only understands the actions of the communist left cannot understand the patriotic right. To them, silence is not a sign of strength, it is a sign of weakness, of fear, of obedience. Until now, we have all sought to conduct our lives with as little contact with government as possible and the communists have sought to conduct life with as much government contact as possible. Which has been the more effective in manipulating society?
That is the point, everything the left wants to do, the right does not. It is not for a person interested in liberty to lobby
for restrictions, but failing to lobby at all opens the door to those willing to enslave and imprison the opposition. One does not have to be wrong or a criminal to be imprisoned by the left, they merely have to be in opposition. While everyone on the right is looking for a battle to fight, the whole battlefield is being excavated beneath them.
Take some time to read or re-read this from Mises: https://mises.org/library/revolutionwas
This was written in 1938, but could have been written yesterday. If a fight is coming, will the right even exist?
GOVERNOR COOPER’S EXTENSION OF THE LONG SESSION
Representative Larry G. Pittman
North Carolina General Assembly
House of Representatives
1010 Legislative Building
16 W. Jones Street
Raleigh, NC 27601-1096
919-715-2009
larry.pittman@ncleg.net
Last time, I gave you an overview of the budget process and some things I helped get done or stopped from happening in the budget. Today, I want to talk to you some more about the budget and what is happening in Raleigh these days.
There is a lot of frustration around the Legislature about the fact that we are still in Raleigh, instead of having shut down the long session of the Legislature a month ago, as we would have preferred. The reason it is taking us so long to get out of here is, of course, the impasse with the Governor over the budget, which he is holding hostage to his ill-advised insistence on Medicaid expansion. Until we get enough Democrats to vote with us to override his veto of the budget, we are stuck here. If we fail to override the veto and just adjourn sine die and go home, the Governor would most likely call us right back into session the next week to try to break down our resistance to his demands; so there isn’t much point in that. We need Democrats to see the light and vote with us for the override.
CABARRUS & ROWAN COUNTY BENEFITS FROM THE BUDGET
District Court Judge
Assistant District Attorney
$17,220,503 School Construction Money
$12,614,170 Rowan Cabarrus Community College Construction Money
$17,608,410 Rowan-Salisbury Construction Money
One might ask, why should the Democrats vote with us on this matter?
It is really pretty simple. Throughout the budget, there is funding for very important projects in each district across the State, including districts represented by Democrats. I told you in my last newsletter about benefits for Cabarrus County that are being jeopardized by the Governor’s veto. Similar benefits for their districts are awaiting the approval of the budget by Democrats voting for the override.
For instance, human trafficking is a devastating blight on our society. The budget appropriates $477,000 to the Human Trafficking Commission, plus $1.5 million to the SBI for human trafficking investigations. Mecklenburg County is represented in all but one district by Democrats, and Mecklenburg County is plagued with one of the worst human trafficking problems in the State. This appropriation would benefit law enforcement there significantly.
The budget appropriates $6 million over two years to clear the rape kit backlog. This benefits districts all over the State whether represented by Republicans or Democrats.
The budget raises the standard deduction on income taxes to $21,000, which would complete a $15,000 increase since Republicans became the majority in the Legislature. Those represented by Democrats would benefit from this right along with those represented by Republicans.
There are appropriations in the budget for $1.5 billion for capital improvement projects for the public schools. This includes the following appropriations to some school districts mostly represented by Democrats.
Bertie County, one Democrat and one Republican, $11,234,254.
Chatham County, two Democrats, $12,337,946.
Cumberland County, five Democrats and one Republican, $28,886,745.
Durham County, six Democrats, $18,587,527.
Edgecombe County, two Democrats, $13,427,241.
Granville County, two democrats and one Republican, $14,143,141.
Guilford County, six Democrats and four Republicans, $28,758,346.
Halifax County, two democrats, $5,201,993.
Martin County, two Democrats, $11,558,269.
Mecklenburg County, sixteen Democrats and one Republican, $48,448,911.
Orange County, three Democrats, $10,324,498.
Wake County, fifteen Democrats and one Republican, $52,215,430.
Warren County, two Democrats, $10,668,056
There are also important things like much needed road projects in various counties, capital improvement projects for many of our community colleges across the State, to a total of $400 million, the movement of the State Department of Health and Human Services office from Raleigh to Granville County, which would be quite a boost to the economy in Democrat Rep. Terry Garrison’s district, and many more examples.
Clearly, if these Democrats really want to help the school systems they represent, it would behoove them to help us override the Governor’s veto of the budget to release these funds for that purpose.
All of this is being held up by Gov. Cooper’s unreasonable insistence on pushing for Medicaid expansion. He has nothing else to offer. This misguided idea, instead of helping low income citizens as he claims, would actually hurt them by making them stand in longer lines for medical assistance from dwindling numbers of doctors who are willing to take on more Medicaid patients in the first place. It is an attempt to control people by making them dependent on the government for their medical care, and it would bankrupt the State. Democrats who won’t join us in overriding this veto should stop and take a look at all that they are denying to their districts, which their districts won’t receive without the passage of this budget. Democrats should prioritize taking care of their constituents and their districts, rather than simply crumbling to pressure from the Governor and falling in line with his unreasonable prioritization of Medicaid expansion above the actual and realistic needs of our State.
A 1992 Bosnian Holocaust Survivor Warns America to Never Give Up Their Guns
Friend and colleague, Kathy Rubio, sent me a biographical account of a document written by a person who survived the holocaust conditions in Bosnia between 1992 and 1995. According to Kathy, the man has had a stroke and obviously would not be available for interviews. Subsequently, I went through the 8 page document and extracted information that related to the importance of having guns in a crisis. Not one word, or one sentence was altered in any way, even down to the conjugation of verbs.
After I extracted the word-for-word- account of the this person’s experience in Bosnia, related to the importance of having guns, I organized his answers in accordance to the questions that he was answering that we are currently debating today in America as the government is doing what they can do confiscate our guns and leave us defenseless. For people who think that gun confiscation is a good idea, please shove this article under their nose and insist they read this account.
The Right’s Only Possible Strategy After a Century of Lies
This is why it’s come to violence. Imagine you’re the Winning Right’s CEO and chief marketing officer. Your job is to “sell” the concept that most of humanity is low-IQ and immoral and that’s why they fail. Meanwhile the competition’s job is to “sell” the concept that everybody’s equal and the most successful group just cheated. As CEO of the Winning Right, you’d realistically just have to say, “Our only shot at survival is for the minority of humans who can handle our message to keep the competition away from us by force. Otherwise they are more numerous and they will devour us out of hatred and envy.” Thankfully the Right is way better at force than the competition. It’s what puts the winning in Winning Right. Truth is relatively unpopular, so without force to protect the truthful, we would enter another dark age.
This is also why it’s so important, once we separate from or conquer the liars, that we punish public lying. The lies tickle the ears of vast masses of people and mobilize them against the truth-speakers.
The truth will win. But only by force.
