Who Is the Real Clear and Present Danger to the Country?

Image result for yellow vest protest us

The nation is at a crossroads. A sum of $5.7 billion is holding the federal government’s non-essential personnel hostage. And the associated jobs/contracts supporting these workers. And the airlines. But most importantly, the Constitution is being held hostage by radical Democrats who will sacrifice everything to usurp power. So who is more dangerous: Democrats who have sold out the country or illegal aliens? The bonus point question is why would the Democrats continue this “strategy”? Is it really a means to unseat Donald Trump or is the House of Cards about to collapse?

Or are we on a collision course to civil war? God help us and the traitors who have put us on this precipice.

Professor Goes After Covington Kid And “Smiling Face Of Whiteness”

“Whiteness endlessly forgives its own transgressions,” University of Pennsylvania associate professor Ebony Elizabeth Thomaswrote on Sunday about the confrontation between Covington Catholic High School student Nick Sandmann and Native American Nathan Phillips.

“It rarely, if ever, gives those of us it harms and maims and kills time to process our motions [sic].”

Squeaker of the House

The government shutdown is an attempt by Nancy Pelosi to generate civil unrest to marginalize or impeach the President. Once the airlines are grounded by not having TSA security and/or EBT cards are not renewed, there will be consequences. For those who believe Pelosi is not at fault or it is the President’s fault, ask yourself:

  1. Who is willing to compromise?
  2. Who will not even show up for meetings?
  3. Who is going on vacation and government junkets overseas (or at least tried to)?

I do not know what strings were pulled to make Pelosi Speaker of the House but she can be removed by a filing of a motion to vacate the seat under House rules. Which is why the Democrats are trying to repeal this rule:

Democrats are also proposing to get rid of the “motion to vacate the chair” rule, which allows any member of Congress propose the speaker be removed. House Freedom Caucus Chair Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) used this to try to get rid of former House Speaker John Boehner in 2013, and Democrats don’t want to risk conservatives trying the same thing with likely incoming House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

As the shutdown continues, I believe Pelosi can be removed and replaced by a more moderate Democrat Swamp Rat. Even if the motion is defeated, her position in the House will at least be weakened by a vote.

How Do You Judge People?

Image result for judge people quotes

“I have a dream; my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character, and the desire to “transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood.” “And when this happens, and when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual: Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!” Dr. Martin Luthor King

As Dr. King wrote, we all judge people. How you judge people is important to the Lord as it defines your character and devotion to His principles. Do I fall short in how I judge people? Yes. What do you look for when you judge people?

1. Character. You cannot judge a person’s character by their appearance or race but by interaction with them over time. I judge a person’s character by their conviction in their beliefs, their word (or lack thereof) and their actions. If a person tells me that they are going to accept responsibility for a task, I expect them to do it. If a person gives me information that is not true or unverified, it reflects upon their character as much as idle gossip. If people would define themselves based on their character, we would not be a divided nation at the edge of a civil war.

2. Judgment. How people judge me obviously impacts how I judge them. A good example is the latest indictment by the other side that all white males are racist. Another example is how people judge others based on propaganda as we see in the reporting of the Covington School incident. The problem we face today is that the far right and the far left will not interact in discussions to find common ground. Since the far left controls the media, our side is portrayed as evil. Ask yourself why the two sides are not talking. The reason is that division without compromise is the goal of the political elite to maintain their power.

3. People vs Groups. I do not judge a person by their race but I do judge a person by their ideology. The problem is not judging a person but judging a group based on the actions of their leaders or spokespersons. As a snap judgment, anyone I meet who defines themself based on a political party is judged negatively. As are people who define themselves with identity politics. As are people who have no religious foundation.

4. Success. I do not judge people based on their success or lack of success in life. This eliminates the sins of jealousy and envy.

Anyone who would like to comment on Matthew 7:35 is welcome. Please also consider Proverbs 31:9. If anyone feels the need not to judge other people in these times, I strongly recommend that you do not turn your back on anyone from the other side. They will have no compunction throwing you headfirst into a wood chipper.

Clinton Judge Orders State to Pay for Sex-Change Surgery of Inmate Who Sexually Abused Child

A Clinton-appointed federal judge has ordered taxpayers in Idaho to provide a transgender inmate convicted of sexually abusing a child with “medically necessary gender confirmation” surgery. In his ruling Judge B. Lynn Winmill writes that the Idaho Department of Correction’s (IDOC) refusal to fund the pedophile’s sex-change surgery puts him at risk of irreparable harm. “For more than forty years, the Supreme Court has consistently held that consciously ignoring a prisoner’s serious medical needs amounts to cruel and unusual punishment in violation of the Eighth Amendment,” Judge Winmill writes in the order.

The prisoner, 31-year-old Adree Edmo, has been incarcerated in the men’s prison since being sentenced for sexual abuse of a child under the age of 16 in 2012. Before going to jail Edmo claims he lived as a woman, wore makeup and dressed in women’s clothes. He has also held two jobs while in prison and has presented as feminine at his places of employment, according to the court document. A psychiatrist eventually diagnosed Edmo with “gender dysphoria” and for years he has pushed to get a sex change at taxpayer expense, asserting that he feels depressed, embarrassed and disgusted with his male genitalia. IDOC officials repeatedly refused and Edmo’s pro bono attorneys sued the agency as well as its medical contractor, Corizon. Edmo will be the first prisoner in Idaho to receive the costly operation and the second in the country. Judge Winmill found that Edmo has a serious medical need that could result in unnecessary infliction of pain and injury if not treated.
