Within a twenty-four-hour span the Catalonian people voted 90 percent in favor of secession from Spain, despite the Spanish government’s effort to violently squelch the referendum, and a man in a Las Vegas hotel room opened fire on a concert, killing fifty-nine and wounding over 500. There’s no tangible connection between the two incidents, but they illustrate incipient forces still gathering steam that are transforming the world.
No government, military force, or intelligence unit has figured out how to stop those determined to kill large numbers of people if the killers are willing to forfeit their own lives. Nor will they. Individuals and small groups have the capability to amass and use large amounts of lethal weaponry, killing military and civilian targets in a guerrilla war, or victims on the deadly end of their random bullets or bombs.
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
This is simple when put into proper context. The new Republic had won a revolution against their political leaders in England. In order for the People to keep their new country’s freedom secure, the 2nd amendment was written and adopted to protect us from our own government.
Which of the above wolves does not represent a tyrannical government? There is only one reason that these wolves want to take away our right to defend ourselves.

Stop wasting energy on the fantasy that Swamp Creatures can be persuaded to remove nearly 100 years of infringements upon our access to the tools we wish to employ for self defense against individual and collective aggressors.

Vegas shooting…
Too early to speculate on anything but one thing. Many of the injuries sustained in the aftermath of the shooter’s demise on a floor of a Vegas hotel will be non-gunshot wound related.
Is he a left wing nut-sack or a right wing nut-sack? Look at the demographic of the target and that will ready the clue-bat. Does anyone doubt that if any of the bipedal budgies in the MSM discovered a Republican affiliation, we’d know it by now?
Mass shootings are no worse here than in gun prohibitionist Europe:
“In fact, as figures from the Crime Prevention Research Center show, “there were 55 percent more casualties per capita from mass public shootings in [the European Union] than U.S. from 2009-15.”
Now the blood dancers of both wings of the Vampire Party will be gathering around their boiling kettles of Marxist to call for mass disarmament of one flavor or another. The usual invertebrates from the kabuki performers in the National Rifle Association will come to many agreements on the worst legislation possible.
The Second Amendment means nothing. Its tortured and twisted language construct has allowed the violence brokers in the political classes to institute massive volumes of rules and regulation restricting human defense activities across the board.
I had originally titled this post, “Well, That Didn’t Take Long”, but out of respect for the dead and their families, I repent of my urge to be snarky and hard-hearted. May God have mercy on us all in these dark times.
As I just stated a few hours ago, they are pushing for the disintegration of civil society in America. And, at least one someone gave in to that pressure last night, and opened fire on a concert from the balcony of a high-rise hotel room. There are now 20+ 50+ 58 dead and over two hundred 400+ 515+injured in Las Vegas, per the latest reports on this mass murder, this blatant act of war against our society.
We just got our next ‘Sandy Hook moment’, folks. Every news outlet is already wielding the words “the deadliest mass shooting in US history”. The news reports are also plainly peppered with the left’s preferred language for attacking gun rights. After all, “never let a good crisis go to waste” as Democrat top operative Rahm Emmanuel said.
As I wrote many years ago;

What we are witnessing is the big push, the last hundred yards to the finish line of imposing their tyranny across the West. Events like this are how they destroy our choices – who we associate with (or choose not to associate with), places and events where we choose to visit or not, what choices we have to defend ourselves and our families, etc., etc.
Anarchy. Everywhere. To weaken societies and destroy everything that stands between them and their objective of the end of all States, and the advent of direct Global Governance.
Cataluña has overwhelmingly voted to separate from Spain, and thereby from the hegemony of the tyrannical EU. But Spanish authorities used their national police force in an attempt to quash the vote, injuring nearly a thousand Cataluñan citizens who turned out to vote for the course of their future.
It can happen in the US.It will happen. Fifty years of intensive Social Engineering cannot now be prevented from achieving it’s intended consequences – violent anarchy and the disintegration of civil society in America.
They have told us all along this path, exactly what it is that they intended – todestroy the old, that they may build something new to take its place. And they have told us exactly what this ‘something new’ will be: the end of sovereign nations, and the implementation of Direct Global Governance, A.K.A. their ‘New World Order’.

Football is a tedious game that fills three-and-a-half hours of airtime with 30 minutes of action, commercials, commentary, instant replays, more instant replays, closeups of pretty cheerleaders, and halftime pageantry. The players are paid great gobs of money but run the risk of rendering themselves concussive basket cases. The super rich owners hold up municipalities for taxpayer-funded stadiums while keeping the TV, ticket, merchandising, and concessions revenues. They’ve also climbed into bed with the federal government, accepting taxpayer money for promoting patriotism. Among other things, this requires players, who until 2009 could stay in the locker room while the National Anthem was played, to be on the field, presumably standing at respectful attention.
Presumably—aye, there’s the rub. Last season, quarterback Colin Kaepernick expressed his disagreement with certain governmental policies and practices by kneeling during the Star Spangled Banner. Since then, other players have done the same, to the consternation of many fans, including President Trump. Ratings and attendance are tanking and the crony socialist owners are caught between the rock of their payrolls’ politics and the hard place of their fans’ disgust. To borrow from Oscar Wilde, one must have a heart of stone to ponder their plight without laughing. It couldn’t have happened to a nicer group of guys and gals.
The entitled class and government want people to pay their “fair share” of taxes but that percentage is never defined. The reason is simple: their idea of fair share is always “more”. Like taxes, their amount of “privilege” is the same: more. Isn’t is amazing that the people paying for the entitled class are the same people who should have no privilege?
The bottom line is, whether or not you or I support their motives, constitutionally, legal precedence is on the side of the players. They have every right to act like bitches on an SJW plantation, kneeling and virtue signaling to their heart’s content. And, the public has every right to stop watching the NFL, drop their ESPN subscriptions, throw their overpriced sports jerseys in the trash and move on to more important issues… like what the hell is all this nonsense with North Korea? And why do we keep hearing about economic recovery when the average American can’t make it from month-to-month without running up their credit cards? And why are so many of us so damn fat and unhealthy?
