A frequent mistake that many people make when considering the concept of social or economic collapse is to imagine how people and groups will behave tomorrow based on how people behave today. It is, though, extremely difficult to predict human behavior in the face of terminal chaos. What we might expect, or what Hollywood fantasy might showcase for entertainment purposes, may not be what actually happens when society breaks down.

It is also important to note that social and economic destabilization is usually a process, not an immediate event. This actually works in the favor of liberty activists and the preparedness minded. As a system moves through the stages of a breakdown, certain signals in the psychology of the population can be observed, and this gives us a warning as to how far down the rabbit hole we have actually gone.

Except in the case of a nuclear or EMP (electromagnetic pulse) event (which unfortunately are concerns because of the powder keg situation in Syria), vigilant liberty proponents could have considerably more time than the average person to preposition themselves safely. That said, there will be a host of expanding problems of a psychological nature we will have to deal with before, during and after the final leg down in the unfolding mess that internationalists often refer to as the “great global reset.”

The following list is based on social behavior patterns commonly seen during systemic crashes through modern history (the past 100 years). These are some of the stupid things people do as they begin to realize, at least subconsciously, that a SHTF scenario is in progress.

Federal agents made arrests in six states — including Utah — on Thursday, rounding up supporters of Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy for their participation in a 2014 armed standoff with federal agents.

In all, 12 men were arrested, including two of Bundy’s sons: David “Davey” Harold Bundy, 39, of Delta, Utah, and his brother, Melvin D. Bundy, 41, of Round Mountain, Nev., federal officials said.

The men are two of the 14 children of Cliven Bundy, the 69-year-old Bunkerville, Nev., cattleman who last month was arrested and indicted on 16 federal charges related to a standoff near his ranch as part of a long-running dispute with the Bureau of Land Management over unpaid grazing fees.

More than 200 people participated in the standoff, which resulted in the release of about 400 head of Bundy’s cattle, which had been seized by federal agents.

In a news release, the U.S. Department of Justice said the arrests follow the Wednesday return of a new grand jury indictment in Nevada’s U.S. District Court.

The indictment charges 14 new individuals with one count each of conspiracy to commit and offense against the United States, conspiracy to impede or injury a federal officer, weapon use and possession, assault on a federal officer, threatening a federal law enforcement officer, obstruction of justice, extortion to interfere with commerce and interstate travel in aid of extortion.

If the federal government overthrew the bounds set up by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, how would such a government act? They would continue a pretense that they are acting legally, supporting the Constitution and that we are still the land of the free. They would also condemn any dissent and arrest people as political prisoners.

The Southern Poverty Law Center published a list of anti-government patriotic people and groups. If the government was following the Constitution, wouldn’t patriots support the government?

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has ordered his country’s nuclear weapons made ready for use at a moment’s notice, the country’s official state news agency reported Friday.

Kim also said his country will ready its military so it is prepared to carry out pre-emptive attacks, calling the current situation very precarious, according to the Korean Central News Agency.

The threats in the statement are part of the authoritarian nation’s regular propaganda effort to show strength in the face of what it sees as an effort by its enemies South Korea and the United States to overthrow its leaders; it follows harsh U.N. sanctions over the North’s recent nuclear test and long-range rocket launch and comes ahead of joint U.S.-South Korean war games this month that the North claims are invasion preparations.

North Korea has threatened nuclear war in the past, but it is unclear just how advanced the country’s nuclear program really is. Pyongyang is thought to have a handful of crude atomic bombs, but there is considerable outside debate about whether it is technologically able to shrink a warhead and mount it on a missile.

In the middle of a heated battle against my jetlag yesterday, I finally decided to exercise the nuclear option and turn on CNBC in order to stay awake.

I figured someone would say something completely ridiculous, and it would get my blood boiling enough to power through the next couple of hours.

Within minutes I saw a top economist for Moody’s (one of the largest rating agencies in the world) saying that there are absolutely zero signs of recession.

Boom. I was suddenly so wide-awake it was like that adrenaline scene from Pulp Fiction.

I couldn’t believe what I had just heard. Moody’s. No recession. Seriously?

In addition to being criminally complicit in committing widespread fraud that fueled the housing bubble ten years ago, Moody’s takes advantage of every opportunity to show the world that they don’t have a clue when it comes to economic forecasts.

It’s like what Churchill said about democracy– it’s the worst form of government, except for all the others.

“Donald Trump Is A Phony, A Fraud”: Mitt Romney Lashes Out In Desperation Establishment Attack

While the GOP establishment already hit peak panic following Trump’s Super Tuesday rout, it is about to “rise above” said peak based on an advance transcript of the speech that Mitt Romney will deliver later on Thursday to the Hinckley Institute of Politics at the University of Utah according, in which he will declare that “Donald Trump is a phony, a fraud. His promises are as worthless as a degree from Trump University. He’s playing the American public for suckers: He gets a free ride to the White House and all we get is a lousy hat.”

So the GOP does not like that the “people” will not support the candidate that the Republican party mandates.

Here is the Republican response to a voter backlash against a party which has failed its members:

But the Democrats are just are bad: Hillary’s superdelegate theft is making a mockery of the “people’s vote”. Of Hillary’s 1052 delegates, 475 are superdelegates. This means 45% of her “total” delegate count has bypassed the “people”.

Most people do not know of the prescient warning George Washington gave to us in his farewell address concerning political parties:

“The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism. The disorders and miseries, which result, gradually incline the minds of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power of an individual; and sooner or later the chief of some prevailing faction, more able or more fortunate than his competitors, turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation, on the ruins of Public Liberty.”

The government is not the country. The government is controlled chaos orchestrated by the political elite masquerading as political parties representing the will of the people. These domestic enemies will not go quietly into the night.

The United Nations Security Council unanimously adopted tough, new sanctions on North Korea Wednesday, taking aim at its nuclear and ballistic missile programs.

The U.N. resolution – which had more than 50 co-sponsors – has several unprecedented measures. One is the mandatory inspection of all cargo going in and out of the community nation. There is also a total arms embargo — including both conventional and other weapons — and restrictions on the sale of coal from North Korea, as well as other minerals, including gold, iron, iron ore and titanium.

A provision in an earlier draft of the text to ban the sale or supply to North Korea of aviation fuel – which is also used to power rockets – was revised in the final resolution to include an exception for civilian passenger aircraft flying to and from North Korea.

Banking sanctions have also been tightened, as well as bans on the sale of luxury goods to North Korea. In addition, travel bans and asset freezes have been imposed on 16 new individuals.

This will not end well. North Korea has nuclear weapons including EMP warheads, submarines and missiles. While their missiles are under development, Iran is more than willing to fill this gap.
