Initial Jobless Claims Suddenly Surge To 5-Month Highs

Weak surveys, mass layoffs, and poor outlooks appear to have finally rippled through the government’s data and sparked a significant rise in initial jobless claims. Up 13k to 282k, this is the highest claims since early July. Of course, it remains below the Maginot Line of 300k which ‘proves’ everything is awesome, but initial claims is now at the same level as it was when The Fed ended QE3.

So what happens next?

Increase in alcohol tax appears to have decreased gonorrhea rates in Maryland

Image result for alcohol sex driveIncreasing state alcohol taxes could help prevent sexually transmitted infections, such as gonorrhea, according to University of Florida Health researchers, who found that gonorrhea rates decreased by 24 percent in Maryland after the state increased its sales tax on alcohol in 2011.

Multiple prior studies have shown that increases in alcohol taxes decrease alcohol consumption. Less drinking reduces risky sexual behavior, such as having unprotected sex or having sex with new partners. In 2014, the rate of infection from gonorrhea, chlamydia and syphilis increased substantially nationwide, and young people accounted for nearly two-thirds of the cases of gonorrhea and chlamydia. This UF Health study is one of the first to quantify the effect of alcohol taxes on the rate of sexually transmitted infections.

“If policymakers are looking for methods to protect young people from harmful STIs, they should consider raising alcohol taxes, which have decreased remarkably over the years due to inflation,” said Stephanie Staras, Ph.D., MSPH, an assistant professor in the UF College of Medicine department of health outcomes and policy and the study’s lead researcher.

UK Cop: ‘There Are Areas We Have To Ask Muslim Leaders’ Permission To Patrol’

muslim leaders'

A British policeman has hit back at the UK political establishment’s trashing of U.S. Presidential candidate Donald Trump’s comments about policing in the United Kingdom, stating that there are some areas in the country where cops have to ask permission from local Muslim leaders in order to patrols.

Earlier this week, Mr. Trump claimed there are areas of the UK “so radicalised the police are afraid for their lives” – a statement initially mocked by the British Prime Minister, the Mayor of London, and even the supposedly apolitical Metropolitan Police of London.

But Breitbart London soon confirmed with London police that the comments were more or less accurate, with one long-serving policeman saying: “When I was a teenage lad in [B]urnley there were no go white areas. This IS the case still nationally… including London where you have to have extra vigilance in certain parts when you are working”.

‘Hawaii’s George Soros’: The Hidden Donor Funding The Illegal Immigration, #BlackLivesMatter Activists

GettyImages-481249650 tia oso

Consider the following seemingly unrelated news stories:

  • In July, 2015, chaos erupts at the progress NetRoots Nation conference in Phoenix, Arizona. Moderator Jose Antonio Vargas tries to keep order during a forum for 2016 primary candidate Martin O’Malley when Black Lives Matter activist Tia Oso storms the stage. The planned talk with
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) is also scuttled by Black Lives Matter protestors.
  • This week in the United Kingdom, a group called “Hope Not Hate” releases a report that attacks the Counter-Jihad movement as “anti-Muslim hate.” The report released by the London-based group mentions Breitbart News four times and goes after writers like Ben Shapiro and Pam Geller and Texas Congressman Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX). For years in England, UK Independence Party leader Nigel Farage has been berated by the group as they tried to disrupt his events, as shown in this 2013 video.
  • Artist and activist Favianna Rodriguez promotes and uses a Butterfly motif as a symbol of “migration”, in an attempt to blur the line between legal and illegal immigration. The symbol becomes a cultural symbol of the movement and appears frequently at pro-illegal immigration protests, on posters at events, T-Shirts and as graffiti.
  • A group called the Puente Human Rights Movement wages a years-long campaign against Arizona’s Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio over his enforcement of immigration law, including protests and a lawsuit. When GOP Presidential hopeful Donald Trump does an event in Phoenix in July 2015, Puente organizes a protestagainst him.

These seemingly unconnected stories — plus numerous other lawsuits, policy proposals and hundreds of more protests and disruptions promoting extremist positions on immigration — have one thing in common: they were all funded by a pair of Hawaiian-based multimillionaire mega-donors.

With Friends Like These…

by Robert Gore

The US government is engaged in an epic, generational battle; its very survival might be at stake. That would be its battle against the truth. What it has never been engaged in is a war against terrorism, in particular, a war against state-sponsored terrorism. That would be because its allies are prime sponsors, and the biggest sponsor of all has been…the US government! The world owes an incalculable debt to Vladimir Putin for deftly illustrating both facts.

The US government’s battle against the truth kicked into high gear after 9/11. Wars were launched against Afghanistan and Iraq. The Patriot Act launched a nonstop expansion of the surveillance state. Echoes of that famous Vietnamese village: freedom could only be saved by destroying it. Edwin Snowden briefly interrupted America’s television and gadget viewing (but not the march of the surveillance state), with his disclosures in 2013.

Had Americans looked up from their screens earlier, they might have noticed a few things that weren’t exactly classified information: the government was mired in quagmires of its own making in Afghanistan and Iraq; it was creating more, not less, terrorism across the Middle East and northern Africa; and the pinnacle of perversity had been reached  in Syria, where the US and its allies were aiding and abetting an offshoot, ISIS, of the group, al Qaeda, behind the 9/11 attacks.

Black Pastors Say Black Lives Matter Is ‘Demonic,’ ‘Shameful’ and ‘Tragic’

E.W. Jackson

E.W. Jackson, the founder and president of Ministers Taking a Stand, announces the launch of Project Awakening at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. on December 12, 2015.

A group of black pastors asserted Wednesday that in order to change the impoverished, crime-stricken cultures in America’s inner cities, more emphasis needs to be placed on responsibility, education and entrepreneurship instead of blaming the police for problems facing troubled African-Americans.

Bishop E.W. Jackson from The Called Church in Chesapeake, Virginia, and other black ministers from the organization STAND (Staying True to America’s National Destiny) gathered at the National Press Club to announce the launch of Project Awakening, a private-sector, church-centered, comprehensive plan for the recovery of America’s inner cities that focuses on teaching children they have options and responsibilities in life.

While the pastors detailed how the project aims to build relationships between churches, police, the black community and businesses to create cultural renewal, entrepreneurial awakening, and technical education for inner city children, the ministers did not refrain from chastising the Black Lives Matter movement for propagating a “demonic” message that does not offer a solution but simply puts police officers in harm’s way.

With many in the Black Lives Matter movement quick to silence anyone who dares say that “all lives matter,” Jackson, who is the founder and national president of STAND, explained at the press conference that such rhetoric only makes racial matters worse in America.

“Let me speak with this admonition. I don’t know everything they are saying, I know what I heard. With that proviso, what I have heard has not been good. What I have heard, to me, is divisive and demonic,” Jackson stated. “We as Christians know that God created all of us, all of our lives matter, including the lives of unborn babies, they matter too. When you have people saying, ‘you can’t say all lives matter, we are not going to hear that,’ that tells me there is something very, very wrong there.”

With Open Gates: The forced collective suicide of European nations

With Open Gates: The forced collective suicide of European nations’, a slick, hard-hitting film about the European migrant crisis is going viral in Europe, already watched at least half a million times.

Although the 19-minute film may feel like a dispatch from the future, it is cut entirely from recent news reports, police camera footage, and interviews. Kicking off with scenes of a modern car ferry disgorging thousands of illegals into Greece, the film then cuts to dozens of aerial shots of columns of migrants marching north into Europe.

Second That

Is it me or is the country getting darker? Obama is a bad pResident. In fact, lately he has become more of a caricature than a man with a mission to destroy the country. Is Obama evil? I believe our country is being tested on a national level and an individual level. The Bible tells us to hate evil. Are the actions of one man evil enough to cause hate? Pray for guidance, courage and Sacred honor.

U.S. General ‘Concerned’ About Russia, China’s Development of Space Weapons

Contrails from test of a Chinese anti-satellite missile

The head of U.S. Air Force Space Command said on Tuesday that he is concerned about Russia and China using anti-satellite weapons to create hazardous debris in space, following reports that both countries tested those types of weapons in the last two months.

Gen. John Hyten, commander of the Air Force’s Space Command, told reporters after a Capitol Hill Club event that he is “concerned about any potential threat that would create debris in space,” particularly Russia and China’s construction of “kinetic energy anti-satellite weapons.”

“It creates an environment that will be there for decades, if not centuries,” said Hyten, who is a former engineer on both Air Force and Army anti-satellite weapon system programs. “And you can’t get rid of it.”

“So I don’t want to go down that path, and Russia and China are going down that path,” he added.

The Global Economic Reset Has Begun

by Brandon Smith

In my last article, I outlined the deliberately engineered trend toward the forced “harmonization” of national economies and monetary policies, as well as the ultimate end goal of globalists: a single world currency system controlled by the International Monetary Fund and, by extension, global governance, which internationalists sometimes refer to in their more honest public moments as the “new world order.”

The schematic for the new world order, according to the admissions of the internationalists, cannot possibly include the continued existence of U.S. geopolitical and economic dominance. The plan, in fact, requires the destabilization and reformation of America into a shell of its former glory. The most important element of this plan demands the removal of the U.S. dollar as the de facto world reserve currency, a change that would devastate our current financial structure.

I outlined with undeniable evidence the reality that major governments, including the BRICS governments of the East, are fully on board with the globalist agenda. There is no way around it; the BRICS, including Russia and China, have openly called for a global monetary system centralized and dictated by the IMF using the SDR basket. This same plan was outlined decades ago in the Rothschild-owned magazine The Economist. We are witnessing that plan being implemented in front of our very eyes today.
