At least 3 dead, more than 100 hostages held as gunmen storm Mali hotel

A Malian military official says at least three people are confirmed dead in an attack on a hotel in the capital where more than 100 hostages are believed to be held.

Lt. Col. Diarran Kone told The Associated Press that the deaths were confirmed after gunmen stormed the Radisson Blu hotel Friday morning.

At least 170 hostages were believed to have been taken, though some 20 were freed later in the morning and others managed to escape with the help of security forces.

Time to Remember

Image result for resistance to tyrants is obedience to god jefferson

It became convenient in America to forget God. We reveled in excess in “the land of the free”. The ensuing apathy allowed the federal government to seize unlimited power and the creation of the state whose intent was to replace God.

Our chains are forged and the options for their removal are limited to choices that have severe consequences. It is time to remember the Lord and regain the freedom that His law grants us.

Governor signs order to resist Syrian refugees

img_1768

Gov. Robert Bentley signed an executive order for state agencies to stop cooperating with the Federal government in settling Syrian refugees in Alabama.

At least 26 other governors have signed similar orders since Bentley’s announcement made national news on Sunday night, Nov. 15.

“The threat posed by the Syrian refugees is real, and as Governor, I cannot expose my fellow Alabamians to the risk of accepting refugees from Syria, whose backgrounds cannot properly be checked to ensure national security,” Bentley said in a statement on Wednesday, Nov. 18.

ISIS Is Being Aimed At The West By Globalists – Here’s What We Can Do About It

by Brandon Smith

Over the past year and a half, I have been writing on the engineered nature of ISIS, delving deeply into its history and its backing by Western intelligence agencies in articles such as “Is Martial Law Justified If ISIS Attacks?” as well as “What Will You Do When Tyranny And Terrorism Work Hand In Hand?” and “The Time Is Ripe For A False Flag Attack On American Soil.”

Specifically, I compared the ISIS phenomenon to another establishment-backed terrorist program that began at the onset of the Cold War in Europe and was publicly exposed in the 1990s. That program was called Operation Gladio.

Gladio involved the manipulation of existing extremist groups as well as the complete fabrication of terrorist cells within Europe claiming to be “left-wing.” The reality was that these terrorist cells were made up of intelligence agency operatives (including CIA operatives) acting as handlers often for duped scapegoats and patsies. These proxy terrorists initiated decades of attacks in Europe, which focused on shootings and bombings in public areas with full media saturation. Gladio-influenced cells, such as Action Directe, carried out at least 50 different violent attacks in France in the 1970s and 1980s, along with groups like Red Army Faction, Black September and the PLFP.

As Of Today, The Baltic Dry Freight Index Has Never Been Lower

As Bloomberg notes, China is leading the global slump in demand growth for the shipping industry’s biggest source of cargoes…

A surge in China’s imports of iron ore will slow to just 1 percent in 2016, about half this year’s expansion and the weakest pace in six years, according to data from Clarkson Plc, the world’s biggest shipbroker. Global trade in the raw material will increase the most slowly since 2001. China’s economy will grow by 6.5 percent in 2016, the least in a generation.

“The main issue is the lack of demand for iron ore from China,” Eirik Haavaldsen, an analyst at Pareto Securities AS in Oslo, said by phone. “This market is looking like a disaster and the rates are a reflection of that. It is looking scary for the market and it doesn’t look like there is going to be any life in the market in the near term.”

Evil Begets Evil

by Robert Gore

Liberty is never an accident. It requires a philosophical acceptance of an individual’s right to his or her own life, and a full understanding of the logical implications and consequences of that right. That acceptance must prevail among intellectuals and through their explanation and leadership, embraced and promoted by a substantial portion of the population. A set of governing institutions has to be devised that are subordinated to the protection of individual rights but strong enough to protect those rights. The difficulties are borne out by history, where attempts to establish political orders based on liberty are few, and their successful and lasting establishment nonexistent.

The argument is made that humanity is unfit for liberty—individuals are incapable of living their own lives peaceably with other individuals. This is true for some individuals, but it has been pronounced as an indictment of the entire species. Because humanity is unfit for freedom, the argument invariably runs, coercion is justified. In other words, individuals—who cannot be trusted with the freedom to peaceably live their own lives—can be given the power to forcibly direct other people’s lives. Chaos, violence, and a world at the brink of epochal collapse are the direct consequences of that inane formulation, yet never has humanity seemed less likely to embrace liberty.

It Is Only A Matter of Time

Earlier this week, Americans were shocked – shocked – when ISIS released a new video threatening to attack Washington DC.

The clip – another Hollywood special shot in full HD – is a kind of mini-lecture series featuring three jihadist speakers. One is an intellectual-looking fellow who calmly makes his case against a serene looking oasis background, another is a raving, crazy-eyed militant who is inexplicably sitting in the driver’s seat of a pickup truck, and the third is a soldier flanked by two not-so-serious looking comrades speaking against a backdrop that features some shrubs and an armored vehicle manned by a couple of set extras and/or character actors.

As patently absurd as it was, it scared a lot of people and at least according to new “information” acquired in raids by French police this week, the militants were indeed intent on keeping at least one of the promises they made in the video – that is, staging more attacks on France, as Reuters reported on Wednesday that the cell raided in St-Denis planned to attack La Defense and the Quatre Temps.

The video described above was actually one of two released on the same day by Furat Media and indeed, ISIS’ video production team has been working overtime this week to capitalize on the frenzy around the Paris attacks.

Furat’s latest effort (out last night apparently) is another France montage but there’s a notable 30 second portion which depicts a man building a suicide belt, strapping it on, walking into a crowd, and hitting the switch.

There are still shots of New York (specifically Times Square) that flash throughout.

Obama says Syrian refugees are no bigger threat to U.S. than ‘tourists’

President Obama said Thursday that Syrian refugees are no more dangerous to the U.S. than tourists, and he accused Republican presidential candidates of stoking fears about the refugees and closing the Guantanamo Bay terrorist detention center to score political points.

Speaking to reporters at a summit in the Philippines, Mr. Obama said the “overwhelming numbers” of Syrians who are applying for entry to the U.S. “are children, women, families — themselves victims of terrorism.” He said they are already subject to rigorous vetting by U.S. security officials.

Combat Cam: Russian jets destroy ISIS oil refinery & tanker trucks in Syria

Russian Air Force jets carried out airstrikes against an oil refinery controlled by Islamic State in Syria on Wednesday and destroyed around 500 fuel tanker vehicles transporting illegal oil from Syria to Iraq.

So what stopped Obama from bombing ISIS? Is it because he is the one responsible for setting up and arming this unholy terror?
