AS IRAN ISSUES NEW THREATS, REPORTS SHOW U.S. IS OVERLOOKING ARMS SHIPMENTS

Since the onset of nuclear negotiations between Iran and the West, there has been much debate about the prospects for rapprochement and the seriousness of the Iranian contribution to that trend. This debate has been complicated by the inconsistency in Iranian public statements, with many officials continuing to issue threats against the US even as the administration of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani periodically claims that relations between the two countries have turned a corner.

Even Rouhani and his cabinet ministers have contributed to the ongoing bellicosity, however. One recent example, arguably, is his suggestion last week that Tehran might be willing to consider releasing three American citizens held prisoner in Iran, but only after the US first releases 19 Iranians imprisoned for sanctions violations.

On Monday, Tehran claimed that the delivery of that S-300 system was now officially underway, according to the Times of Israel. Recently, Tehran also intimated that this deliver could set the stage for other advanced weapons transfers, as Iran and Russia have been engaged in high-level talks about both economic and military cooperation.

Role Reversal In The New Cold War

20151005_roleBaldly stated, the United States government is the greatest danger to peace and freedom the world has ever known. This is true precisely because it has held aloft the torch of liberty for so long, an example to the world of what a society based on individual freedom can achieve. That is the great paradox of American power. As we abandon our libertarian heritage – even as we retain the forms of a constitutional republic – we destroy what made our power possible.

The process is reversible: we can restore our old republic – but only if we give up the mirage of empire. If we continue to pursue the fatal dream of a beneficent internationalism, America will lose itself, dissolve its unique character – and wreak destruction, not only on its own people but on the peoples of the world. In switching roles with the Soviets, we prefigure their fate: and the resulting implosion is going to shake the world to its foundations in a way that the fall of the Kremlin never did. In programming our own self-destruction, we will likely drag much of the world with us.

Those are the stakes, and they are high – too high for us anti-interventionists to rest for a single moment.

How the Chinese Will Establish a New Financial Order

How the Chinese Will Establish a New Financial Order

For many years now, it’s been clear that China would soon be pulling the strings in the U.S. financial system.

In 2015, the American people owe the Chinese government nearly $1.5 trillion.

I know big numbers don’t mean much to most people, but keep in mind… this tab is now hundreds of billions of dollars more than what the U.S. government collects in ALL income taxes (both corporate and individual) each year. It’s basically a sum we can never, ever hope to repay – at least, not by normal means.

Of course, the Chinese aren’t stupid. They realize we are both trapped.

We are stuck with an enormous debt we can never realistically repay… And the Chinese are trapped with an outstanding loan they can neither get rid of, nor hope to collect. So the Chinese government is now taking a secret and somewhat radical approach.

China has recently put into place a covert plan to get back as much of its money as possible – by extracting colossal sums from both the United States government and ordinary citizens, like you and me.

BOMBSHELL: ISIS JUST ‘HOURS’ FROM DESTRUCTION

Islamic State (Photo: PBS screenshot)

According to a London Express report Monday evening, Russian airstrikes, unruly leadership and numerous defections have destabilized the terror organization to the point that it is no longer capable of fighting off even a small attack.

Terror analyst Dr. Afzal Ashraf told the paper that ISIS has drastically exaggerated its military power, prompting an international counterattack. Ashraf urged Western leaders to act now to wipe out the jihadi group.

The U.S. has led a coalition of airstrikes against ISIS. The New York Times reported that the coalition is preparing to open a major front in Raqqa, a city in northeastern Syria that is widely considered to be ISIS’ capital. President Obama has also ordered the Pentagon to provide weapons to Syrian rebel groups.

Russian President Vladimir Put is preparing to send 150,000 troops into Syria to wipe out ISIS, according to the paper.

If this is true, what does that say for the Obama administration’s ability to lead? Obama has disgraced the military, the country and our allies.

Right Now There Are 102.6 Million Working Age Americans That Do Not Have A Job

Unemployed Man - Public Domain

The federal government uses very carefully manipulated numbers to cover up the crushing economic depression that is going on in this nation.  For the month of September, the federal government told us that 142,000 jobs were added to the economy.  If that was actually true, that would barely be enough to keep up with population growth.  Sadly, the truth is that the real numbers were actually far worse than that.  The unadjusted numbers show that the U.S. economy actually lost 248,000 jobs in September and the government added more than a million Americans to the “not in the labor force” category.  When I first saw that number I truly believed that it was inaccurate.  But you can find the raw figures right here.  According to the Obama administration, there are currently 7.9 million Americans that are “officially unemployed” and another 94.7 million working age Americans that are “not in the labor force”.  That gives us a grand total of 102.6 million working age Americans that do not have a job right now.

That is not an economic recovery – that is an economic depression of an almost unbelievable magnitude.

This is something that my friend Mac Slavo pointed out the other day.  I encourage you to read his analysis right here.  If we measured unemployment the way that we did decades ago, we would all be talking about how similar Obama’s economy is to the Great Depression of the 1930s.

But instead we let the feds get away with feeding us this completely fraudulent “5.1 percent” unemployment number and most of us believe the mainstream media when they tell us that everything is just fine.

Diversity rocks the Rockettes

Religious Rockette.jpg

New York, NY–The Rockettes have announced their intention to comply with the Supreme Court’s ruling that exemptions must be made for employees whose religious obligations may conflict with employer dress code policies. The Supreme Court verdict, which was handed down earlier this year, requires Abercrombie and Fitch to make a religious exemption for an employee who wished to wear Muslim garb in the form of a hijab, despite the fact that the company’s policy explicitly prohibits the wearing of any headwear not sold by the chain of fashion outlets.

That case centered on an employee who did not wear the religious head-covering to her job interview with the store’s manager. The Rockettes did not give an official statement, but sources close to the organization say that this case is different because the employee was already a Rockette for several years before recently converting to Islam. The SCOTUS ruling against A&F makes it a criminal offense to prevent the dancer from wearing clothing required by her faith on the job.

An unnamed Broadway critic for one notable publication admires her progressive courage, saying off the record, “I envision a day when all of the Rockettes will have the courage to follow this bold act of modesty. She has really challenged the status-quo and is bringing decency back to the stage.” But critics of the SCOTUS ruling are asking, “Where do we draw the line? For example, are we now forced to allow tribal medicine men and satanic high priests to wear their religious costumes while acting in their capacity as bankers, lawyers, and government service employees?

Justice Without State

justice

You always know you’re venturing into interesting territory when you arouse defenses like “Because!,” “You’re an idiot,” or “Everyone knows…”

Such are the defenses that pop up when touching the concept of justice separate from the state. It was, in my experience, something of a verboten subject, considered ridiculous and rude at the same time. It was – again in my personal experience – something that everyone just “knew” was impossible and which they also knew was dangerous.

And yet, they had no real reasons upholding their opinions. Certainly they struggled to assemble reasons once I said, “I don’t think so” (humans are really good at that), but it was very clear that the decision was made first and the facts assembled second.

I was thrust into this subject quite a few years ago, as cypherpunk projects ran into the reality that humans are unfinished creatures and sometimes end up in disputes with each other. Once cyberspace appeared, quite a few of us realized that it was a kind of terra nova, the first new continent opening since 1492. (1606 for Australia.) We wanted to do something good with it, something better than the territorial overlords were doing to humanity.

To give you some feel for the moment, here is a passage from J.P. Barlow’s A Declaration of the Independence of Cyberspace, published in 1996:

Governments of the Industrial World, you weary giants of flesh and steel, I come from Cyberspace, the new home of Mind. On behalf of the future, I ask you of the past to leave us alone. You are not welcome among us. You have no sovereignty where we gather.

So, with a separation imperative in mind, we were confronted with the fact that some kind of law or justice service was necessary. And so, I began digging into the subject.

What I Found

I learned that justice without state was common throughout history. And more than that, it seemed to have worked quite well over long periods of time. That seems utterly impossible to any mind that has gone through the modern school “curriculum,” but the facts remain, no matter how many knees may jerk at the thought.

Here, briefly, are some of the instances I found:

The Greek reset and the early Hebrews Continue reading

Why now?

A civil war has been going on in Syria for more than five years, the Taliban has been enforcing their brutality for years, and Iraq has been a killing field since the current administration pulled our troops out without a forces agreement—so why do we all of a sudden have a refugee crisis now?

Those who are actually paying attention will notice that this is not merely the usual hodgepodge of people who are victims of ethnic or religious persecution. Many are billed as being Christians who fear for their lives—why then is Saudi Arabia committed to building 200 mosques for them? What need does a Christian have for a mosque?

The wealthiest Arab States are refusing to take any of the refugees without the slightest hint of guilt. Why is it that Muslims are ignoring their duty to one another? There is a tent city in Saudi Arabia, fully equipped and air-conditioned which will house three million people. It is used only once a year for two weeks during the Haj rituals. How does this comply with this admonition from the Qur’an: “He is not a believer who fills his stomach while his neighbour is hungry.” (Holy Prophet in Hadith.)

It should be noted that these “refugees” are not the same as most other immigrants. They are not invading Europe to assimilate and find a new life in western culture. They want, and will set up their own communities and observe Sharia Law. With them, they bring their preoccupation with violence—when they are not killing infidels, they are killing each other because of their religious factions. Pedophilia, child bride marriages, whipping and torture of women, rape, and abuse or killing of homosexuals—it’s all part and parcel of Muslim culture.

Muslims average eight children per family. The refugees will most likely gain entrance for their children and families as well once they settle into an EU country. The vast majority of these refugees will have to be supported by their host countries. Muammar Gaddafi, former dictator of Libya predicted thirty years ago that Europe would be conquered by Islam without a war. Within the next twenty-five years this prophecy will have been fulfilled without Islam ever firing a single shot. Once Muslims have the voting majority, they will approve and institute Sharia Law and all Europe will then have the same form of government as the sand piles of the Middle East. Europe as we know it will no longer exist and its buildings, books, and art treasurers will be destroyed because they represent the hated western civilization. As Yogi Berra stated, “It ain’t over till it’s over” —folks, in Europe, for all practical purposes it’s over. All that’s left is to allow the clock to run its course.

Humans are not terribly intelligent creatures —they are just slightly more cerebral than the other animals which populate our planet. The Nazis in Germany annihilated six million educated and productive Jews—and now Europe is welcoming twenty million ignorant, violent Muslims with open arms– only idiots could accomplish that feat.

Americans can see what is going on in Europe—it is not a mystery hidden from view. We view a picture on TV of a Muslim kid washed up on a beach—and we advocate opening our country to an invasion by people who want nothing less than our total conversion or our total extermination. Like the picture of Cecil, the dead lion, one dead child forms public opinion and outrage by a gullible politically correct society.

There is nothing written here that is not understood by European and American leaders. A few people within the political power structure are concerned, while most couldn’t care less. America’s political correctness dictates that people should never tell the truth no matter how horrific the circumstances, which forces us to ignore the insidious takeover of America that is well under way. One-hundred thousand young Muslims will be allowed to come to America and enjoy refugee status. We will support them—some will build bombs or kill Americans—all will obey perverted Sharia Law.

The fundamentalist faction of Christianity are preoccupied with the four blood moons and when the world will end—politicians are concerned with raising money for the next election cycle—Joe Blow is concerned about feeding his kids and paying the mortgage. And all the while the never-ending goal of world supremacy by Islam continues its gradual, unrelenting march.

Have a good week.

US created 142K jobs in Sept vs 203K expected

Job seekers wait in line to enter the Choice Career Fair in San Antonio, Texas.

The U.S. economy created 142,000 jobs in September, a number that missed expectations and could cool expectations that the Federal Reserve will start raising interest rates soon.

Unemployment held at 5.1 percent, according to the Labor Department. A separate member that includes those who are working part-time for economic reasons or have not looked for employment

Economists had been expecting the report to show 203,000 new jobs, up from the initially reported 173,000 in August.

Fed officials have been keeping a close eye on the jobs number for clues about when it would be appropriate to raise interest rates for the first time in more than nine years. The unemployment rate has been declining steadily, but that has come in significant part due to the lowest labor force participation rate since the late 1970s.

Russian His Swing

obama, obama jokes, political, humor, cartoon, conservative, hope n' change, hope and change, stilton jarlsberg, russia, syria, putin, golf

Well that didn’t take long. Following a one-on-one meeting at the U.N. which gave Vladimir Putin the ability to measure the degree to which Barack Obama is a mewling pantywaist, the Russian dictator launched a surprise attack in Syria (after graciously ordering the United States to get the hell out of the way) on the anti-Assad rebels being funded and trained by the CIA.

That’s right – Putin is bombing the crap out of our few surviving allies in the region, and so far the only response from Washington (via an oddly twitchy John Kerry during a live conference at which his Russian counterpart referred to him as “Joan”) was to say that our country appreciates the Russians’ “help” in fighting ISIS but, um, considering they’re not dropping their bombs anywhere near ISIS, we should have a meeting – sometime soon! Maybe even tomorrow! – to see if we can come to some sort of agreement on their choice of targets.

Pope did not give unconditional support to clerk in gay marriage row: Vatican

Pope Francis waves as he leads the weekly audience in Saint Peter's square at the Vatican, September 30, 2015. REUTERS/Max Rossi

Pope Francis did not ask to meet a Kentucky county clerk who had been jailed for refusing to issue marriage licenses to gay couples and did not offer her unconditional support, the Vatican said on Friday.

Looking to limit controversy after last week’s meeting in Washington between the pope and Kim Davis, Vatican spokesman Federico Lombardi said she was one of “several dozen” people who had been invited by the Vatican ambassador to see Francis.

“The Pope did not enter into the details of the situation of Mrs. Davis and his meeting with her should not be considered a form of support of her position in all of its particular and complex aspects,” Lombardi said in a statement.

The meeting with Davis, which was originally kept secret, disappointed many liberal Catholics but delighted conservatives, who saw it as a sign that the pope was clearly condemning a ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court to legalize same-sex marriage.

A senior Vatican official, who declined to be named, said there was a “sense of regret” within the Holy See over the encounter, which sparked widespread debate in the United States, overshadowing almost all other aspects of the pope’s visit.
