So You Know

It is difficult for me to witness the death of my nation; the death of liberty. The recollection of those days in the late 60’s and 70’s when a person could walk out on their property and do as they please, without fear of being reported for failure to recycle, or some such idiocy as we encounter daily in America today, remain as banners of freedom in my mind. For those who have never felt the liberty of a low-technology state cannot know what I mean by “liberty.”

For all of the technological advances that have led to the 24/7 surveillance of our daily lives, there has been no decrease in crime, no decrease in terror threats. If increased security is not a by product of the sacrifice of liberty, then liberty is sacrificed for no reason at all, but to feed the ambitions of the totalitarians.

It is easy to criticize me for growing disgusted with the talk of this movement and the inaction in the face of absolute surrender to the forces of evil that seek the total destruction of liberty. Yes, I have gotten so fed up with it that I chose to discontinue this blog, but have been encouraged to return. Despite my detractors, there are those who value my point of view and find their opinions voiced on this blog.

Attack on Teachers

classroom

by

As the new school year begins, you might like to be updated on some school happenings that will no doubt be repeated this academic year. After this update, I have some questions one might ask the black leadership.

The ongoing and escalating assault on primary- and secondary-school teachers is not a pretty sight. Holly Houston is a post-traumatic stress specialist. She counsels teachers in Chicago public schools and reported, “Of the teachers that I have counseled over the years who have been assaulted, 100 percent of them have satisfied diagnostic criteria for PTSD.” It’s not just big-city schoolteachers traumatized. Dr. Darlyne Nemeth, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, said last year, “I have treated many teachers with PTSD, and I am currently following a few of them.”

A Philadelphia seventh-grade girl with a history of incidents against her teacher sprayed perfume in the teacher’s face after telling her that she smelled “like old white pussy.” After telling her classmates “I’m about to kick this bitch’s white ass,” she shoved the teacher, knocking her to the floor. In 2014, a Philadelphia 68-year-old substitute teacher was knocked out cold by a student (http://tinyurl.com/orldslb). Earlier that year, two other teachers in the same school were assaulted. By the way, Philadelphia schools employ close to 400 school police officers.

In a school district near St. Louis, teachers have had pepper spray and dog repellant sprayed in their faces. A Baltimore teacher had his jaw broken. In Baltimore, each school day in 2010, an average of four teachers and staff were assaulted. A 325-pound high-school student in Houston knocked out his 66-year-old female teacher (http://tinyurl.com/oqxmrfg). Nationally, an average of 1,175 teachers and staff were physically attacked each day of the 2011-12 school year.

School violence is going to get worse. Last year, the Obama administration sent all the school districts in the country a letter warning them to avoid racial bias when suspending or expelling students.

How to Solve the Immigration Crisis Fast, Easy, and Cheap!

immigration

No, I’m not kidding. I can solve the immigration and refugee crises without more wars, without rounding people up like animals, and while boosting the GDP. It’s not hard. All you have to do is stop thinking inside the same old status quo.

Here’s the plan:

#1: The Fed provides loans to build new cities. Seeing that they were recently spending $85 billion per month buying up mortgage debt and Treasuries, we’ll take that as a cap. We’ll buy up farmland (or forest or desert) and start installing utilities. There’s such an incredible amount of open land that we’ll have thousands of spots to choose from.

#2: The federal and state governments forbear all income taxes from anyone who opens a business in the new cities for as long as they operate those businesses. Think they’ll come?

#3: The federal and state governments forbears all taxes from undocumented immigrants (and their families) who choose to reside in the new cities. They also forebear all enforcement of immigration laws upon them. Wanna bet they’ll show up?

#4: The federal and state governments forbear all taxes, regulations, fines, bases, offices, employees, services, and impositions for 100 years in the new cities. “Outside the status quo,” remember?

#5: The federal and state governments guarantee that entry and exit to/from these cities will be unimpeded.

#6: Federal and state governments agree that they will provide no welfare, disability, or any other handout programs in the new cities for 100 years. We don’t want a dependent class.

Oh, and one more thing:

#7: No person or corporation who has done business with any federal or state government over the past 10 years shall be considered for any such loans; nor shall anyone with more than incidental political involvement. A panel of radical anarcho-capitalists shall decide.

There are a few fine points that could be added, but these seven major points just about do it. The plan falls short of philosophical perfection (witness the Federal Reserve being named in it), but it had to be something that would work tomorrow morning, and this would.

And Then…

North Korea Restarts Nuclear Complex, May Nuke US “At Any Time” For “Mischievous Behavior”

Image result for north korea nuclearLate last month, things got tense in the Korean Peninsula after an argument over a DMZ loudspeaker spiraled out of control. After two South Korean soldiers were wounded by North Korean landmines, the South began blasting propaganda messages over giant speakers on the border. When the North took a shot at one of the speakers, the South returned fire, providing Kim Jong Un with an opportunity to remind the world that he exists (something he is forced to do every now and again when geopolitical realities conspire to relegate the North Korean “menace” to the backburner).

That conflict came on the heels of a hilarious declaration by Pyongyang that the North was prepared to invade the US mainland in retaliation for joint military drills Washington was set to carry out with the South. As part of the planned invasion, Kim said the North was prepared to use “weapons unknown to the world.”

Well, the world may just get a look at one of these heretofore “unknown” weapons on October 10, which marks the 70th anniversary of the foundation of North Korea’s ruling Workers’ Party. Kim reportedly plans to celebrate the milestone by launching an long-range ballistic missile.

But that’s not all.

The North’s atomic agency now says that Pyongyang has made good on its promise to restart its main Yongbyon nuclear complex, shut down since 2007. Here are some Yongbyon bullets from BBC:

Refugee Crises At Dangerous Tipping Point As Hungary Makes Arrests, Germany Loses Patience

As The New York Times noted on Monday, Austrian officials have now sent “2,200 soldiers to help reinforce the eastern border.”

The rush to get into the Hungary came as the country largely completed a four meter, razor wire fence meant to cut off the flow of refugees and channel them to official registration centers where they can apply for asylum. “If their applications are refused,” BBC says,“they will now be returned to Serbia rather than being given passage through Hungary.”

Government spokesman Zoltan Kovacs says “official and legal ways to come to Hungary and therefore to the European Union remain open.”

“All we ask from all migrants [is] that they should comply with international and European law,” he added.

There’s a certain extent to which Hungary’s frustrations are understandable. For many refugees, the path to the German “promised land” goes through Hungary, and the means the flow of people is daunting.

How the US plans to welcome 10,000 Syrian refugees

US President Barack Obama has promised that the United States will admit 10,000 Syrian refugees for resettlement over the next 12 months, after criticism that America is not doing enough.

But this would represent a huge increase in the number of families arriving on US soil. In the more that four years since fighting erupted barely 1,800 Syrians have been welcomed here.

Miss Colorado Thinks Ellen DeGeneres Should Replace Alexander Hamilton on the $10

Update

This reminds me of a question presented at a Bible study that I attended where the “icebreaker” question was to name one of our heroes. No one gave a valid example of a hero. Athletes are not heroes. Actors are not heroes. Degenerates are not heroes. Real heroes should be honored because they have earned it.

The definition of a hero:

a man [or woman] of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities. a person who, in the opinion of others, has heroic qualities or has performed a heroic act and is regarded as a model or ideal: He was a local hero when he saved the drowning child.

People in power do not want heroes to “usurp” their authority or become role models. So the culture is manipulated for political expediency to skew the qualities that are to be honored. Homosexuality, infidelity and tolerance without any qualifications must be adopted as “main stream” traits of the culture.

What is left when this is accomplished? An immoral and ignorant culture ruled by evil. No heroes. No church leadership. No hope of peaceful restoration of a country’s honor.

GRNC Alert 9.14.15: Bill Endangering Deer Hunting Gets Hearing TOMORROW

In late August, GRNC alerted you to a potential disaster as Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler, in an apparent “pay to play” scheme with wealthy deer farmer (and former Food Lion CEO) Tom E. Smith and others, began pushing an effort to expand commercial deer farming – a scheme which could spread “Chronic Wasting Disease” (CWD) from deer herds in other states, potentially decimating North Carolina’s indigenous deer population.

Apparently, House leadership isn’t hearing you yet: They have scheduled the bill for a hearing in the House Rules Committee tomorrow, September 15. For additional information, below is an open letter from GRNC president Paul Valone to Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler which clearly depicts how the deer farming scheme reverses previous NC Wildlife Resources policy which cut back deer farming due to the risk to our native deer population.

Iraq War Veteran Blows Whistle On Shameless Propaganda Being Taught At Police Academies

Before getting into the meat of this post, I want to start off by stating a fact: There is no “war on police” happening in America today. What is happening is a growing movement of people who want police accountability, profess a desire to reform the justice system so that we stop incarcerating people for the  oxymoron of “victimless crimes,” and an end to the widespread thieving of the public without due process via a practice known as civil asset forfeiture.

I’ve covered these topics extensively over the years. Here are just a few examples:

The United States: 5% of the World’s Population, 25% of its Prisoners

Don’t Mess with Texas – Police Raid and Shutdown Lemonade Stand Run by 7 and 8-Year-Old Girls

Chart of the Day – America’s Prison Population Over the Past 100 Years

Denver Police Arrest “Jury Nullification” Activist for Passing Out Informational Pamphlets

Land of the Unfree – Police and Prosecutors Fight Aggressively to Retain Barbaric Right of “Civil Asset Forfeiture”

The DEA Strikes Again – Agents Seize Man’s Life Savings Under Civil Asset Forfeiture Without Charges

Asset Forfeiture – How Cops Continue to Steal Americans’ Hard Earned Cash with Zero Repercussions

The public grievances listed earlier are reasonable demands which any civilized culture would insist upon. Nevertheless, many police departments across the country are taking these criticisms as part of some imagined “war on police” which simply doesn’t exist. Rather than showing even a sliver of introspection by looking inward at the mistakes policing has made in recent years, many officers are becoming defensive, combatant and have resorted to lies in order to dismiss the concerns of the public.

This is precisely what an Iraq war veteran witnessed recently while training at a police academy. He shared his story with the Daily Beast under the pseudonym Clayton Jenkins. Here are some excerpts:

State Dept. concedes ‘gaps’ in Clinton email record; could result in perjury charge

The emails former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton turned back over to the government last year contained “gaps,” according to internal department messages evaluating her production.

Mrs. Clinton took office on Jan. 21, 2009, but the first message she turned back over to the department was dated March 18, and the earliest-dated message she herself sent was on April 13, or nearly three months into her time in office, according to a message obtained by Judicial Watch through an open-records request.
