Early life and education

Bernie Sanders was born in Brooklyn, the son of Eli and Dorothy (Glassberg) Sanders.[19][20] His father was a Jewish immigrant from Poland whose family was killed in the Holocaust,[19][21][22] while his mother was born to Jewish parents in New York City.[23][24]

Sanders went to Brooklyn College for a year before transferring to the University of Chicago. He was a member of the Young People’s Socialist League,[26] the youth affiliate of the Socialist Party of America.

While attending the University of Chicago, he was active in the Civil Rights Movement, and a student organizer for the Congress of Racial Equality and the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee.[22][27] One of the actions he took was the coordination of sit-in protests against segregated campus housing, for which he was arrested.[28] Sanders also participated in the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.[29]

Was the Civil War About Slavery?

But after voting to remain in the Union after South Carolina seceded:

On May 1, 1861, the North Carolina legislature voted that counties should elect delegates who would determine whether North Carolina would remain in the Union. On May 20, the delegates, convening in Raleigh, voted unanimously that the state would no longer be a part of the United States of America.

Although the vote was unanimous, it was not enthusiastic. Only two months earlier, a majority of North Carolinians had been Unionists. But after the firing on Fort Sumter, Governor John W. Ellis received a telegram from Simon Cameron, Lincoln’s secretary of war, asking for two regiments of troops for immediate military service. War was now a reality, and southern Unionists were forced to choose sides.

MEGYN KELLY STARTS A WAR WITH DONALD TRUMP AT THE DEBATE

Although funny, I would like to make two points.

1. Megyn Kelly did ask a valid question since the Democrat party has successfully labelled the Republican Party as waging a war on women.

2. I believe Ms. Kelly could have asked Mr. Trump a better question.

Does it really matter? Or is this all theatrics as these women prove?

The Assault On Donald Trump Shows That Our 2 Party System Is Really A 1 Party System

Donald Trump Circle

Were you sickened by the Republican debate the other night? The hype leading up to the debate was unbelievable. Never before had there been so much interest in a debate this early in an election season, and it turned out to be the most watched program on Fox News ever. A record-shattering 24 million Americans tuned in, and what they witnessed was an expertly orchestrated assault on Donald Trump. From the very first moments, every question that was launched at Trump was an “attack question”. And then the laughable “focus group” that followed was specifically designed to show that “ordinary people” were “changing their minds” about Trump. By the end of the evening, it was abundantly clear that Fox News had purposely intended to try to destroy Trump’s candidacy.

And of course Fox News is far from alone. Every mainstream news outlet in the entire country is running anti-Trump news stories every single day. Virtually every other presidential candidate in both parties is attacking him, and virtually every “political expert” from across the political spectrum is trashing his chances of success.

So why is this happening?

Car bomb explodes near Kabul airport

A car bomb exploded near the entrance to Kabul airport on Monday, killing at least four people and wounding 17, days after a series of suicide attacks in the Afghan capital killed dozens and wounded hundreds.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack in a crowded area outside an airport checkpoint, but a security official said it appeared to be aimed at two armored cars, although it was not clear who was in the vehicles.

The tangled, flaming wreckage of one of the cars lay on its side, as dozens of fire fighters and police gathered.

Four civilians were killed, and 17 people wounded, including a woman and a child, said Wahidullah Mayar, a spokesman for the public health ministry.

Two shot in Ferguson amid standoff between police, protesters

Two people were struck by gunfire during a standoff between riot police and protesters on Sunday night in Ferguson, Missouri, after a day of otherwise peaceful rallies commemorating the fatal shooting of an unarmed black teenager by a white officer one year ago.

Several volleys of gunshots rang out as police tried to disperse demonstrators blocking traffic and smashing storefront windows along a street that was a flashpoint of last year’s unrest in the St. Louis suburb following the slaying of 18-year-old Michael Brown.

The origin of the gunfire and condition of the two people shot was not immediately known, police said. One of the victims, a black male who looked to be a teenager or young adult, appeared in a Reuters photo to have been badly wounded.

Gunmen Attack US Consulate In Turkey After Explosion Kills Three

Just as the Ferguson night turned violent, again, and at least two people were struck by gunfire during the latest riot to “commemorate” the death of Michael Brown, reports of violence came from another part in the world, Turkey where moments ago CNN Turk reported that two attackers, a man and a woman, opened fire on the U.S. consulate building in Turkey’s biggest city, Istanbul, on Monday and fled when police shot back.

Space Cowboy “nails” it in comment re Fiorina

The following comment was posted below“Fiorina Shines on National Security”.

I think Space Cowboy got it right …

“It is disturbing that every time one of these homegrown terrorist attacks occur… it turns out we had warning signals; it turns out we knew something was wrong; it turns out some dot wasn’t connected,”

“We heard these warning about the Boston Marathon bombers and yet the dots weren’t connected,”

“We need to tear down cyber walls not on a mass basis, but on a targeted basis,”

“I do not believe that we need to wholesale destroy every American’s privacy in order to go after those we know we suspect.”

Uhm…how about we just implement a little common sense instead of a lot of political correctness Ms. Fiorina. Like banning and reversing mass Muslim immigration with all of its excess baggage ASAP. You wanna know why Ms. Fiorina? It’s because they are invaders and colonizers.

Muslims are not here to assimilate and integrate Ms. Fiorina. They are here to assimilate and integrate us and to also eventually colonize us.

Hence, let’s apply a little common sense for a change shall we and expel the invaders. Because no invaders in America equals no jihad in America. Indeed, it may not be the political correct solution, but nonetheless it’s common sense.

Are you Ms. Fiorina willing to become the first politician to call for banning and reversing mass Muslim immigration with all of its excess baggage ASAP as a first step in reforming our immigration system? If not, why not?

Until you open every nuclear facility and every military facility to full, open, anytime, anywhere inspections — for real — we are going to make it as difficult as possible for you to move money around the global financial system,”

How do you propose to do that Ms. Fiorina? By negotiating a more stringent hudna with Iran which like the first one Obama stupidly negotiated, isn’t worth the paper it was signed on.

I’m sorry Ms Fiorina, but there is only one way to stop Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and ICBM missiles and starting an avalanche of nuclear weapons in the Islamic Middle East, and that’s through the application of intense military force. Any other alternative will inevitably fail.

“Iran is at the heart of most of the evil that is going on in the Middle East,”

Actually, Ms. Fiorina that would be Islam…the driver of jihad.

“Day two in the oval office, I would hold a Camp David summit with our Arab allies, not to talk to them into this lousy deal with Iran, but to say to them, ‘what is it that you need to defeat ISIL?”

Our Arab allies, Ms. Fiorina, are also Muslims and Muslims for sane people are our eternal mortal enemies and the eternal mortal enemies of all infidels in the world. Meanwhile, Ms. Fiorina the polar icecaps will melt long before you or anyone else, for that matter, convinces Sunni Muslims to fight other Sunni Muslims.

As for as I can see, Ms. Fiorina is as ignorant as every other Republican in the field of candidates running for President. Indeed, she doesn’t have any clue whatsoever either what we are up against. Lord help us all if that’s the best we can do. Color me unimpressed.

The former HP executive said that President Obama’s insistence that we either engage Iran in diplomacy or be forced into war is a “false choice.”

Actually, our choice is to go to war to eradicate Iran’s nuclear weapons and ICBM missile facilities. Or otherwise accept the fact that Iran will soon be armed to the teeth with the above.

In her closing remarks, Fiorina promised that as President, America would be “back in the leadership business.”

How? I don’t consider the blind leading the blind to be “back in the leadership business.” Does anyone else?

Thanks to Fran for pointing me to this gem.

This War Is Real

I did not make this image

Evil wants to put chains upon us. And our children. That is how evil controls us.

You may not see them literally, but they are there. Debt, regulations, laws and taxation are the oppressive chains of tyranny.

In September 2015, Agenda 21 Will Be Transformed Into The 2030 Agenda

United Nations - Public Domain

If you didn’t like “Agenda 21″, then you really are not going to like “The 2030 Agenda”.  Next month, the United Nations is going to launch “The 2030 Agenda” at a major conference that will be held from September 25th to September 27th in New York City.  The Pope is actually traveling to New York to deliver an address which will kick off this conference.  Unlike Agenda 21, which primarily focused on the environment, the 2030 Agenda is truly a template for governing the entire planet.  In addition to addressing climate change, it also sets ambitious goals for areas such as economics, health, energy, education, agriculture, gender equality and a whole host of other issues.  As you will see below, this global initiative is being billed as a “new universal Agenda” for humanity.  If you are anything like me, alarm bells are going off in your head right about now.

This new agenda is solidly rooted in a document known as “Agenda 21″ that was originally adopted by the United Nations back in 1992.  The following comes from Wikipedia

The full text of Agenda 21 was made public at the UN Conference on Environment and Development (Earth Summit), held in Rio de Janeiro on June 13, 1992, where 178 governments voted to adopt the program. The final text was the result of drafting, consultation, and negotiation, beginning in 1989 and culminating at the two-week conference.

Since that time, Agenda 21 has been modified and amended numerous times.  Noteworthy changes occurred in 1997, 2002 and 2012.

Syrian refugees in Greece demand asylum and shelter

Why is the sign above in English? My second question is why people do not know that this is happening on a grander scale here:

LIST OF 190 CITIES WHERE OBAMA WILL BE PLACING SYRIAN MUSLIM REFUGEES

The solution that the Syrians are requesting is simple: don’t let them in the country.
