GOVERNOR MCCRORY SIGNS HOUSE BILL 562
Governor Pat McCrory signed the GRNC-backed Omnibus Gun Legislation House Bill 562 into law yesterday. We want to thank Governor McCrory for signing this bill, as well as NC Representatives Jacqueline Shaffer (R-105); Justin Burr (R-67); George Cleveland (R-14); as well as Senator Jeff Tarte (R-41) for their efforts in getting this bill passed with the strongest language possible. Most of all, we’d like to thank you for your support of GRNC. Without you, we cannot continue to our tireless work to defend your 2nd Amendment rights.

By now, it’s no secret that the federal government invaded Texas on the 15th of July. It’s been 170 years since the US last annexed the state and because you have to do these things again every so often just to keep everyone honest (it’s kind of like renewing your wedding vows), Washington cooked up a set of “training exercises” called Jade Helm 15 and proceeded to launch a two-month Lone Star lockdown.
Or at least that’s what some Texans were led to believe, and while we won’t speculate on the extent to which that narrative borders on the absurd, we would note that the US Spec Ops Command probably should have realized that showing people a map which identifies the state (painted bright red) as “hostile” would stir up trouble amongst those who are naturally inclined to distrust big government. Fears only grew after Governor Greg Abbott called up the state guard and the entire ordeal officially became a circus after Chuck Norris, apparently forgetting that Walker Texas Ranger isn’t a real person, warned the federal government that Jade Helm looked like it would come “too near to the backdoor” of his ranch.
While Twitter lit up with Jade Helm jokes on the first official day of the exercises, not everyone was laughing. Among those who took the federal takeover “threat” seriously were the gentlemen pictured below, Walter Eugene Litteral, Christopher James Barker, and Christopher Todd Campbell.
The three men, who are not from Texas (or any other state involved in Jade Helm for that matter), but in fact reside some 1,400 miles away from the “front lines” in North Carolina, allegedly “had a deadly plot to lure government forces into a trap,” in retaliation for the Pentagon’s supposed plan to “use the armed forces to impose martial law in the United States,” The Washington Post reports.
Ironically, the owner of the military surplus store where the men bought some of their supplies ultimately turned them in to authorities. Here’s WaPo with the story:
The Islamic State executed 19 women in Mosul, Iraq for refusing to sexually submit to the terror organization’s jihad fighters, according to reports by the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the city.
Saeed Mimousini, a party spokesman, said the killing took place over the last two days and explained, “The penalty decision came on the background of the refusal to participate in the practice of sexual jihad.”
Jihad eh-nikah, or sexual jihad, is the term used to describe the practice of women volunteering themselves sexually to jihadi fighters to boost their morale and desire to continue fighting to establish an Islamic state.
One year ago, when the Islamic State swept through Mosul in a lightning takeover, posters appeared in the city stating, “We call upon the people of this county to bring their unmarried girls so they can fulfill their duty in sex jihad for their warrior brothers in the city and anyone who will not appear will feel the full force of the sharia [Islamic law] upon him.”

Yesterday at a work session, the Board of Aldermen in Andrews, NC put in motion their scheme to restrict lawful carry of firearms on town properties. This could create, for the first time in town history an ordinance that bans lawful carry of firearms including, potentially,a blanket ban on open carry in the town. Why, one might ask? Is it because of threats or violence on Town property? No record of such criminal activities can be found. Is it because Cherokee county, home to the Town of Andrews bans such lawful activity? (They do not.) No, more likely, it’s just because they can!
Apparently, the Mayor and Aldermen in Andrews want to destroy the mountain heritage of gun ownership in order to create a new leftist “Chapel Hill of western North Carolina.” We’ve already lost Asheville to the leftists. Will you let them have Andrews too?
Grass Roots North Carolina has put the Board of Aldermen on notice that we will fight their effort. We’ve also put them on notice that we will encourage you to attend their meetings to advocate against disarming lawful citizens.

The media erupted in outrage over trucks flying Confederate flags passing by a black birthday party but continued praising the racist #BlackLivesMatter movement whose tactics include harassing white people by invading “white spaces” and intimidating people trying to eat lunch. A perfect inversion of the sit-ins at lunch counters fifty years ago. Those were a moral crusade to make a space for blacks at the table. This is a racist attack to make whites leave the table
But in the topsy-turvy race world we have come to inhabit, it is not racism when black racists do it.
Since the Ferguson riots, America has been suffering from a violent outbreak of anti-white racism. It’s time to call it what it is.
If white mobs harassed black people, screamed racist slogans and claimed that even the existence of black people was oppressive, no one would hesitate to describe that ugliness as racism. When #BlackLivesMatter racists do it, it’s excused, defended and even praised as a civil rights movement.
Racism is not civil rights. No group that talks about “white supremacy”, “white privilege” or “white spaces” is a civil rights movement.
It is a racist movement, and anti-civil rights.
Black racism hides behind alleged victimhood. Every act of bigotry, from name-calling to race riots to murder, is justified by the claim that every single white person is part of a conscious or unconscious conspiracy to discriminate against them. This claim, embodied by the racist term “White Privilege”, is classic racism. White people are not responsible for the fact that homicide is the number one cause of death for black males. White people do not sit around conspiring to deny black people jobs. If there is a job problem in the black community in America today it is because of the anti-business policies of a black president and the worst economic recovery on record.
Late in July, the Anti-Media reported that Turkey joined the U.S. led coalition conducting airstrikes against the Islamic State (IS, ISIS, ISIL). Since then, it has become clear that Turkey’s strategy is part of a larger agreement with the U.S. to conduct a war against “extremism” in the region.
The deal between the U.S. and Turkey has the following contours: Turkey will allow the U.S. to use its military base at Incirlik to conduct airstrikes against the Islamic State. In exchange, the U.S. will allow Turkey to create a buffer zone on Syrian soil free of Islamic State and Kurdish fighters. The stated aim of the “safe zone” is to create a refuge for internally displaced Syrian civilians inside Syria. According to the New York Times,
“The plan would create what officials from both countries are calling an Islamic State-free zone controlled by relatively moderate Syrian insurgents, which the Turks say could also be a ‘safe zone’ for displaced Syrians.”

The point to James Clavell’s novel Shogun was revealed at the end of the book: the goal of the warlord who always disavowed any desire to be the supreme warlord of Japan was to be the supreme warlord of Japan (the Shogun). He accomplished his goal using this strategy.
The goal of the pResident has always been the establishment of a new Islamic caliphate under the control of Turkey’s Erdogan. As Turkey bombs the Kurds into oblivion, the world watches in apathy. With the help of the United States, Turkey will have its best opportunity to regain the glory of the Ottoman Empire. Are you ready to fight a religious world war?
