Christmas Cards

I have received a few Christmas cards this year. Some are personal and some are from people who follow this site. I want to send a special thank you to Beatrice in the United Kingdom for her card.

I will be sending our cards out today. I remember another time when we would receive a large number of cards at Christmas. I suppose it is another tradition that has been marginalized to demean (cancel) our culture.

This Christmas season is more hopeful than those since the release of the SARS-COV2 virus in 2019. While the Trump victory is cause for celebration and hope for our country, we too must bear some of the responsibility for making our nation great again. A moral and righteous people is a good foundation. Restoring the rule of law and justice for those responsible for the evil that has enveloped our country must be implemented to edify this foundation.

What does that have to do with Christmas cards? For me, it is a personal reaching out to my friends and relatives in a more meaningful way than a message or email. And maybe that reminds people of a simpler time when friendships meant something important.

If

If the drones over New Jersey are actually trying to detect radioactivity released from an old Ukrainian nuclear warhead:

  1. Why would President-elect Trump tell people to shoot them down? Is he not being briefed on national security matters?
  2. Matt Bracken has made a cogent case that nuclear warheads require maintenance that an old Ukrainian warhead would not have received. Best case in his mind would be a dirty bomb.
  3. Why is the Biden regime lying about the drones being US military drones? Does the government not want to panic the people or are they preparing a false flag operation to start WWIII?
  4. What if another state actor like Iran actually has an active nuclear warhead in the US?

As always in a repressive regime, there is more misdirection and lies than the truth. It would be prudent for people to take some measures to prepare for a false flag attack to launch WWIII prior to Trump’s inauguration. In the meantime, I am going to celebrate Christmas for the right reasons and say prayers asking the Lord to bless our people.

In Memoriam: Dr. Donald Bitzer, 1934–2024

Bitzer was born January 1, 1934, and was an American electrical engineer and computer scientist. He was co-inventor of the flat-panel plasma display and the “father of PLATO,” the world’s earliest time-shared, computer-based education system and home to one of the world’s most pioneering online communities.

Bitzer studied electrical engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), obtaining a PhD in 1960. Following graduation, he joined the UIUC faculty, where he learned of efforts to bring lessons to students over a closed-circuit television network. While a committee of engineers, psychologists, and educators were unable to agree on a single solution at the time, Bitzer wrote up a proposal within a week, got it approved, and immediately started developing his PLATO system for the university’s groundbreaking ILLIAC I computer—the first electronic digital stored program computer built by a university. (PLATO stands for Programmed Logic for Automated Teaching Operations).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Bitzer for a few years at NC State. I have never met such a personality whose accomplishments impacted our world. His personal stories spanned being a professional wrestler, world class musician and electrical engineer. Some of his accomplishments were developing the cable modem, plasma TV, military software used to win the war in Iraq and PLATO.
He passed on December 10th, 2024.
