Pay attention to the ongoing transformation in the Socialist States of Amerikka:

“We need to make it clear that if someone lifts even a finger against a police officer, their life could be on the line,” Patrick Lynch of the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association has advocated. That’s quite the threshold level for “justified” use of lethal force, is it not? How much less will be required for a “resisting” charge? Is it any wonder attitudes like this result in the “permitting” of a right that is reserved for the “right people”?

It’s consistent with a sense of entitlement actually bragged about by former mayor and longtime domestic enemy Michael Bloomberg, when he told an audience in a speech at MIT “I have my own army in the NYPD, which is the seventh largest army in the world.”

What remains to be seen is if a new paradigm being tested and adjusted to results in a new awakening sufficient to discourage someone lifting an iron fist against a citizen who is exercising his rights. This latest move by Bratton, with his variation on Star Trek’s Borg warning, “Resistance is futile,” may set the stage for seeing if that’s really so.

The world is on the verge of a global economic meltdown. What does that mean? The simple answer is that it will not be long until every modern country is consumed by hyperinflation resulting in the crash of most of the paper currencies on the planet. This will result in an economic shutdown. Starvation will become commonplace. Unrestrained violence will occur and eventually the world will slip into World War III.

I literally have at my finger tips two dozen economic indicators which demonstrates that total and global economic collapse is at hand. In the interest of brevity, I will only highlight two of these indicators and if these were the only indicators, an economic collapse would still be in our collective futures.

The Baltic Dry Index

The  Baltic Dry Index (BDI) is absolutely the best measure of  global economic health. The BDI is used by economists as a leading global economic indicator because it predicts future economic activity. The BDI, uses the U.S. dollar as a benchmark and measures the global supply and the corresponding demand for commodity shipments among bulk carriers. Commodities, in the form of raw materials like grains, lumber, coal and precious metals form the backbone of the BDI. Over time, the BDI is the best indicator of global economic health because, unlike the futures market, the BDI does not engage in speculation as it provide near real time data on what and what is being shipped. The determinations made by the BDI are such an accurate indicator of economic activity because businesses don’t book freighters when they have no cargo to move. In short, the BDI is the world’s financial blood pressure measure. The BDI is said to be one day away from reaching its all-time low. Ultimately, what the BDI tells economists is that we are headed for a depression that will make 1929 look like a picnic. The BDI has fallen on 43 of the past 47 days.

The group of nations US President Barack Obama assembled last September for an air offence against ISIS inroads in Iraq and Syria is fraying. Wednesday, Feb. 4, US officials admitted that the United Arab Emirates had suspended its air attacks in early December, directly after a Jordanian bomber was downed over the Islamic State’s Syrian headquarters in Raqqa and its pilot Lt. Mu’ath al Kassasbeh was taken prisoner.

He was later burned alive by Islamic State executioners, as a video released this week revealed.

Although the UAE, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Bahrain joined the coalition from the start, most observers believe their participation was more symbolic than active. Iraq has no air force to speak of and its army turned tail against Islamic State forces; the Saudis allotted a trifling number of planes to the effort; while Bahrain doesn’t have an air force at all. The UAE has the biggest and most modern air force in the Gulf region and so its withdrawal is a major blow to Washington’s war effort, such as it is.

It is noteworthy that neither Washington nor Amman has disclosed the scope of Jordan’s aerial activity since the pilot was captured.
