United Breaks Guitars

Full Story: http://www.davecarrollmusic.com/story… –

In the spring of 2008, Sons of Maxwell were traveling to Nebraska for a one-week tour and my Taylor guitar was witnessed being thrown by United Airlines baggage handlers in Chicago. I discovered later that the $3500 guitar was severely damaged. They didn’t deny the experience occurred but for nine months the various people I communicated with put the responsibility for dealing with the damage on everyone other than themselves and finally said they would do nothing to compensate me for my loss.

So I promised the last person to finally say no to compensation (Ms. Irlweg) that I would write and produce three songs about my experience with United Airlines and make videos for each to be viewed online by anyone in the world. United Breaks Guitars is the first of those songs.

Funny in one respect but this is a case where publicity brought down United Airlines. If we do not stand up, we will never win. As I did with the IRS and UPS. So when will we stand up to tyranny?

FLU KILLING BIRDS – HUMANS NEXT?
================================
An interesting exchange has just appeared on the News – Virology net (but
not on the Virology Gopher).
According to Mike Perdue at a Poultry Research station in Georgia (USA),
avian flu has mutated in Mexico since last summer and is killing large
numbers of birds. There is fear that this might spread north with spring
migrants. There is also the question of reassortment in horses (and pigs?)
leading to a new human flu strain. Eric Nute of Swarthmore writes:

In regard to the [avian] influenza outbreak-
If the HA protein has been modified to permit proliferation in a
wider range of tissues, has there been any isolation of either the new
strain or of recombinant strains in horses (in which H5 HA proteins
circulate) or of a species jump of H5 to humans?

Iran Targets Netanyahu Children for Assassination

netanyahu kids 485

Iran is encouraging its terror allies to pursue the assassination of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s children by publishing personal information about them, including photographs of the kids lined up in crosshairs, and declaring, “We must await the hunt of Hezbollah.”

The publication of the personal information and biographies of Netanyahu’s children follows an Israeli airstrike last week that killed several key Hezbollah leaders and an Iranian commander affiliated with the country’s hardline Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Iranian military leaders affiliated with the IRGC threatened in recent days harsh retaliation for the strike and promised to amp up support for Hezbollah as well as Palestinian terrorist organizations.

The information was originally published in Farsi by an Iranian website affiliated with the IRGC and quickly republished by Iran’s state-controlled Fars News Agency.

In addition to biographical details and pictures of Netanyahu’s children, the Iranians provided details about the families of former prime ministers Ehud Olmert and Ariel Sharon.

The Next War In The Middle East Has Begun And Israel Vows ‘To Act Powerfully On All Fronts’

Israeli Tank - Israel Defense Forces

Israel and Hezbollah are at war.  On top of everything else that is going on in the world, now we have a new war in the Middle East, and nobody is quite certain what is going to happen next.  Israel has been preparing for this moment for more than 8 years.  So has Hezbollah.  According to some reports, Hezbollah has amassed an arsenal of 50,000 rockets since the end of the Hezbollah-Israel war in 2006.  If all-out warfare does erupt, we could potentially see tens of thousands of missiles rain down into an area not too much larger than the state of New Jersey.  And of course the Israeli military is also much more sophisticated and much more powerful than it was back in 2006.  If cooler heads do not prevail, we could be on the verge of witnessing a very bloody war.  But right now nobody seems to be in the mood to back down.  Hezbollah is absolutely fuming over an airstrike earlier this month that killed six fighters and a prominent Iranian general.  And Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says that Israel is “prepared to act powerfully on all fronts” in response to a Hezbollah ambush that killed two Israeli soldiers and wounded seven.

Just such an incident is what sparked the war between the two sides back in 2006.  But this time, a conflict between Israel and Hezbollah could spark a full-blown regional war.

Israel hits back for broad Hizballah offensive

Israel forces on the ready on the Golan

A broad military clash between Iran-backed Hizballah and Israel erupted on Israel’s northern borders Wednesday, Jan. 28, after heavy coordinated Katyusha rocket-mortar attacks from a Hizballah outpost at Mt. Dov (disputed Shaaba Farms) inflicted multiple casualties on IDF troops. As Israel fought back with heavy fire on Hizballah and associated targets the length of South Lebanon, residents of Metula and other border locations were ordered to stay indoors and keep teir doors and windows shut; tourists warned to stay out of the region and road traffic halted. Israeli massed military strength in border areas after moving figures on the Lebanese side were feared preparing to cross the border for terrorist attacks on abductions under cover of fire.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahum on his way to an urgent, top-level security conference warned: “My advice is not to test us!”

Failing Stimulus And The IMF’s New ‘Multilateral’ World Order

by Brandon Smith

My theme for 2015 has been the assertion that this will be a year of shattered illusions; social, political, as well as economic. As I have noted in recent articles, 2014 set the stage for multiple engineered conflicts, including the false conflict between Eastern and Western financial and political powers, as well as the growing conflict between OPEC nations, shale producers, as well as conflicting notions on the security of the dollar’s petro-status and the security and stability of the European Union.

Since the derivatives and credit crisis of 2008, central banks have claimed their efforts revolve around intervention against the snowball effect of classical deflationary market trends. The REAL purpose of central bank stimulus actions, however, has been to create an illusory global financial environment in which traditional economic fundamentals are either ignored, or no longer reflect the concrete truths they are meant to convey. That is to say, the international banking cult has NO INTEREST whatsoever in saving the current system, despite the assumptions of many market analysts. They know full well that fiat printing, bond buying, and even manipulation of stocks will not change the nature of the underlying crisis.

Their only goal has been to stave off the visible effects of the crisis until a new system is ready (psychologically justified in the public consciousness) to be put into place. I wrote extensively about the admitted plan for a disastrous “economic reset” benefiting only the global elites in my article ‘The Economic End Game Explained’.

OBAMA CAMPAIGN TEAM ARRIVES IN ISRAEL TO DEFEAT NETANYAHU IN MARCH ELECTIONS

AFP PHOTO / POOL / MATTHIEU ALEXANDRE

Just days after the Obama White House accused House Speaker John Boehner of “breaking protocol” by inviting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to address a joint session of Congress, a team of up to five Obama campaign operatives has reportedly arrived in Israel to lead a campaign to defeat the Israeli Prime Minister in upcoming national elections scheduled for March 17.

The anti-Netanyahu, left wing Israeli newspaper Haaretz reports a group called “One Voice,” reportedly funded by American donors, is paying for the Obama campaign team. That group is reportedly being led by Obama’s 2012 field director Jeremy Bird.

As Jerusalem Post columnist and putative Knesset candidate Caroline Glick reported on her Facebook page, “Obama won’t meet Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington when he addresses the Joint Houses of Congress in March because of Netanyahu’s visit’s proximity to the Israeli elections. And Obama, of course believes in protocol and propriety which is why he won’t get involved.” And yet, Glick adds, “He’s just sending his 2012 field campaign manager to Israel to run a campaign to defeat Netanyahu.”

Google Fiber bringing ultra-fast Internet to Triangle

Governor, Google announce NC plans

Life in the Triangle is about to get faster – at least online.

Google officials confirmed Tuesday that the area is among the latest to be outfitted with Google Fiber, which promises Internet speeds 100 times faster than existing connections.

“The Triangle, as a world-renowned hub for great universities, rapid innovation and a thriving biotechnology sector, is the perfect region to show us what’s possible with gigabit speeds,” Kevin Lo, business and operations director for Google Fiber, said in a statement.

“Fiber will help put the Raleigh-Durham area on par with the fastest cities in the world, like Seoul, Tokyo and Zurich,” Lo said. “Given that the U.S. is still 14th in the world when it comes to speed, this is a big deal.”

Two Rockets Hit Israel From Syria

Israeli soldiers take up positions on the Israeli-Syrian border, near Quneitra in the Golan Heights, on Jan. 25, 2015.

Two rockets launched from Syria hit Israel on Tuesday, the Israeli military said, prompting a counterattack from Israel amid growing tensions at the northern border.

There were no injuries reported immediately.

The attacks happened just over a week after Iran accused Israel of killing one of its military generals  in a helicopter strike that militant group Hezbollah said killed six of its fighters  as well.

Iran threatened a severe response, but no further attacks have come so far.

The standoff has left Israel’s northern border on an increased state of alert and the Israeli military has sent reinforcements.
