Doomed to Repeat the Past

All Jewish stores have been closed in a portion of Paris. How quickly we forget the lessons of the past.

Charlie Hebdo Attackers, French Market Gunman Killed In Separate Raids

Sky News reports that kosher restaurants in Paris are closing following this latest hostage situation.

All shops in a famed Jewish neighborhood in central Paris have been ordered closed.

The Paris mayor’s office immediately announced the closure of all shops along Rosiers Street in the city’s famed Marais neighborhood in the heart of the tourist district. Hours before the Jewish Sabbath, the street is usually crowded with shoppers — French Jews and tourists alike. The street is also only a kilometer away from Charlie Hebdo’s offices.

Tens of thousands of French security forces have mobilized to prevent a new terror attack since the Wednesday assault on the offices of Charlie Hebdo in the heart of Paris left 12 people dead, including the chief editor and cartoonist who had been under armed guard with threats against his life after publishing caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad. His police bodyguard also died in the attack, which began during an editorial meeting.

New Congress, New Ways to Steal the Fruits of Our Labor

The tide may be turning. The personal attacks concerning my viewpoint that there is no political solution to our nation’s problems have dropped. The hope represented by the GOP victory in the Senate has quickly faded as the elite continue to show their insatiable appetite for power and taxation.

Put your faith in the Lord and then in yourself. Never put your fate in the hands of the “government”. Once their chains are forged, you will never escape the grasp of the real domestic terrorists.

Momentum builds in Congress for raising the federal gas tax

Record-low gas prices across the U.S. have given rise to fresh talk in Washington of raising the federal gas tax for the first time in over 20 years, with leading Republicans now saying a hike must not be ruled out.

The GOP has long resisted calls from business leaders and others to boost the 18.4 cent-per-gallon tax as a way pay for upgrades to the nation’s crumbling roads and bridges.

Yet in recent days, senior Senate Republicans have said they want to keep options open and that “nothing is off the table” when weighing the best mechanisms to pay to finance infrastructure projects.

This Is a Medical Gamechanger

Finding new antibiotics has also been scientifically difficult.

Bacteria found in things like bread mold make their own antibiotics, which they use as chemical weapons to kill rival germs. For 70 years, researchers have used this microscopic arms race to fight infections in humans.

Although dirt is filled with germs, scientists until now haven’t been able to grow these bacteria in a laboratory – a key requirement for studying and testing them. Scientists were able to coax only about 1% of soil bacteria to grow in a lab dish.

Now, scientists led by Northeastern University in Boston have invented a “contraption” to grow germs that could allow them to study about half of soil bacteria, vastly increasing the pool of drug candidates, according to researcher Kim Lewis, coauthor of a study published in Nature.

The Three Muslims Who Murdered 12 People In France Were Connected With Major Saudi Imam Who Called For The Annihilation Of Westerners Who Criticize Islam

By Walid and Theodore Shoebat (Shoebat Exclusive)

“We ask Allah to annihilate them. Who dare say that you cannot bear arms and fight and kill who tears up your Quran and who mocks your prophet” says Shaykh Dr. Aaidh ibn Abdullah al-Qarni whom one of the terrorists follows on twitter.

The French authorities revealed the nationality of the three Paris terrorists attacks on French magazine Charlie Hebdo are from a Muslim French Algerian heritage born in France, Saïd Kouachi, 34, and Cherif Kouachi, 32, as well as 18-year-old Hamyd Mourad. Regarding the last, Mourad, Shoebat.com researched and discovered his Twitter which reveals some interesting finds. Mourad’s inspiration stems from a much larger picture to two known Islamists Shaykh Dr. Aaidh ibn Abdullah al-Qarni and Salman bin Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Ouda whom he followed. Mourad’s membership to Al-Qaeda in Yemen also is crucial since that branch of Al-Qaeda has also given allegiance to ISIS.

NC Lawmaker leaves Democrats to work with legislative majority

Rep. Paul Tine

Sophomore Rep. Paul Tine will leave the Democratic Party next Monday and hopes to work as part of the Republican majority during the upcoming legislative session, potentially expanding the GOP’s control in the chamber and dealing a blow to Democrats hoping to use the coming session as a springboard to electoral success in 2016.

Tine, a moderate who at times voted with RepublicView Postans during the past legislative session, plans to register as unaffiliated rather making the jump all the way to the GOP. But as a practical matter, he will likely function as a Republican, participating in the party’s closed-door strategy and policy debates.

“I’ve been hired to do the best I can for the district and the state,” Tine said during an interview with WRAL News. “Can I do that best by working with the majority or working with the minority who doesn’t always hold the same views as my district does? I feel that I can do a better job for the district by working with the Republicans.”

If Mr. Tine is truthful, it is refreshing to hear a politician who understands that he was elected to represent his constituents.

Andrew Klavan: Republicans Are Smarter than Democrats – and More Liberal

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mr. Klaven did not address the unaffiliated voter or the people who realize that voting is an illusion since the Republic has fallen. My opinion for intelligence:
1. People who understand that the voting process has been made irrelevant through fraud, entitlements, corruption and government workfare. This segment is taking measures to secure their future and in most cases, their Liberty.
2. The unaffiliated voter who understands that both parties are corrupt but still lives in a world of normalcy bias.
3. Republicans
4. Democrats
5. Politicians. Since there really is only one party in Washington, D.C., party affiliation is meaningless when they achieve their goal of absolute power.
Are We Headed into Fascism?
Stranglehold
Banks in the USA now are required to report any wire of $3,000 or more and any cash withdraw as well. If you want to withdraw $5,000 in cash, you have to now fill out a form. Your money is no longer yours. Big Brother and his entire Family is now here to stay. Little by little, government needs money so desperately to keep funding their pensions at the expense of the people that they have now put in place a stranglehold on the global economy.
Only the Father knows the hour. I personally do not believe we are living in the end of days. However, the signs of a major economic collapse are abundantly apparent if you have eyes to see and ears to hear.
If this is the coming of another time to try men’s souls, my advice is to get faith first. Everything else will follow.
How Hezbollah Caught an Israeli Spy
Guerrillamerica
A recent New York Times article confirms the second successful high-level infiltration and sabotage of a terrorist organization in the past few months.
Although I can no longer find the article, there was a really good one a couple months back about Boko Haram having been infiltrated by the Nigerian military/intelligence services.  After years of working from inside Boko, this once low-level thug had become a top lieutenant in the organization, and was using sensitive Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) equipment to report on the location of high level Boko leaders for US/Nigerian assassination.  He had apparently been successful more than once.
And then comes this article about Israeli infiltration of the Lebanese Hezbollah.  Since I get a lot of questions about infiltration, I figured this is as good a time as any to start posting these stories.
The GOP Is Trying To Take Health Care Away from Millions of Americans
America just celebrated the season of giving with Hanukkah and Christmas presents, year-end charity donations and soup kitchen volunteering. It is a time when Americans demonstrate the generosity, caring and kindness that define them as a people.
Now, however, Americans may suffer the season of GOP taking. Republicans already insisted on taking away a key protection in the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. Now they’re intent on taking health insurance from millions of Americans who got it under the Affordable Care Act.
The Affordable Care Act (ACA) is a manifestation of Americans’ concern for each other’s welfare. Americans felt it was intolerable for so many of their friends, neighbors and relatives to be uninsured in the richest country in the world, to be bankrupted by medical bills, to die for lack of medical care. So they found a way to do something about it. That is the ACA. Among other benefits, it extends Medicaid and provides subsidies enabling the working poor to afford insurance.
But the GOP is all against it. Republicans tried to repeal the law, appealed to courts to overturn it and refused its expansion of Medicaid. As they become the majority party in both houses of Congress this month, Republicans will intensify their campaign to take health insurance from millions who got it through the ACA.
And There Goes the Obama Recovery
The economic impact that the collapse of the shale oil industry is twofold:
1. Cheaper gasoline
2. Lower GDP and higher unemployment
As your pResident boasts about his economic (hamburger flipper) recovery, the only real bright spot was the shale oil related jobs. As we will see in the very near future, the loss of these jobs may be the catalyst for recession and the impetus to print more money by the Federal Reserve. But more likely, it will be the catalyst for war.
You may as well enjoy the savings from the lower price of gas: you will need it and more to pay for “affordable” health care.
The First Shale Casualty: WBH Energy Files For Bankruptcy; Many More Coming
There are too many ugly balance sheets,” warns one energy industry analyst, adding simply that “the group is not positioned for this downturn.”While the mainstream media continues to chant the happy-clappy side of lower oil prices, spewing various ‘statistics’ about how the down-side of low oil prices is ‘contained’ and the huge colossal massive tax cut means ‘everything is awesome’ for America, the data – and now actions – do not bear this out. Macro data has done nothing but disappoint and now, we have the first casualty of the shale oil leverage debacle as WSJ reports, on Sunday, a private company that drills in Texas, WBH Energy LP, and its partners, filed for bankruptcy protection, saying a lender refused to advance more money. There are many more to come…
In December we illustrated the problem names (in the publicly traded markets) among the most-levered energy companies in America…
