I can’t say I’ve known too many guys in my life named ‘Boris’ who were shy about standing up for themselves.
The name itself means ‘wolf’ in an extinct Turkic language.
And if the current mayor of London Boris Johnson is going go to toe to toe with the IRS as he has stated, I certainly hope the translation is accurate.
Mayor Johnson is what we call an ‘accidental American.’
Even though he’s British and grew up in England, he just happened to be born in New York.
Whether his parents realized it or not, and whether they wanted it or not, that instantly made baby Boris a citizen of the United States.
Fast forward a few decades, and Mr. Johnson had pretty nasty taste of life as an accidental American.
It was 2006. The then 42-year old Johnson was leaving England with his family for a summer holiday in Mexico, when they had a flight connection in Houston.
Upon arrival, he stood in the line for ‘non-citizens’ with his family, and when it was their turn, the immigration officer said, “[Y]ou have to travel on an American passport if you want to enter the United States.”
Problem #1: he didn’t have a valid US passport. So Boris Johnson was refused entry to the country of his birth due to this administrative technicality.

We send our soldiers across the world to free people from tyranny. Time to look in the mirror and realize that this country has gone off the rails.

Russia and Turkey are set to work on increasing payments between the countries in their national currencies, the Russian-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission said Wednesday.
“The working group on financial and banking cooperation, taking into account information about detected barriers, is to continue its work to eliminate them and increase the volume of payments in the national currencies of Turkey and Russia,” the commission said

So much for the pResident’s gravitas with Turkey. This country is quickly becoming not only irrelevant but a symbol of ridicule in the eyes of the world.
How’s your pResident doing? On the scandal front? On the tyranny front? On the success of dividing the county? Immigration?

The CIA was spying on arms shipments from Libya to Syrian rebels at the time of the 2011 attack on its Benghazi facility, according to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
But a controversial Committee report asserts the CIA did not make “unauthorized” arms shipments to the Syrian rebels, further confusing what the two dozen officers and contractors were doing at the Libyan port city.
Claiming the panel conducted a “comprehensive and exhaustive” probe of the attacks, the report concluded that the committee “found no evidence that the CIA conducted unauthorized activities in Benghazi and no evidence that the [intelligence community] shipped arms to Syria.”
No details on the CIA’s authorized mission in Benghazi were disclosed in the once-secret report. The agency’s relationship to some of the militias operating in Benghazi also was not disclosed in the 36-page report.
Critics have said the report failed to answer several key questions, such as what role the CIA played in facilitating the transfer of weapons from Libya to Syria using intermediaries from Turkey and Qatar. Also, the CIA’s relationship with many of the militia groups in Benghazi also was omitted from the report.

Obama states above that “he just took an action to change the law”. As he did with the implementation of Obamacare. What do you call it when your pResident decides which laws to enforce, manipulates law to his choosing and covers up illegal acts by his administration?
I call it Tyranny.

Shame used to be an effective means to make people think before acting. Have we come to the point when we have to pay to make people accountable for their actions? My thoughts are irrelevant: it is how the nation reacts to bad behavior that defines us. I know one thing: retribution is not restoration of the rule of law. But how do we restore the rule of law when the opposing forces are the government, the media and the “entitled class”.

One day after fatally shooting Michael Brown, an unarmed black teenager, Ferguson, Mo., police officer Darren Wilson, who is white, gave his account of the incident to two detectives from the St. Louis County Police Department, explaining in detail how Brown attacked him through the police car’s open window, wrestled for the officer’s gun, and then pointed it at him.
“My duty bag was on the passenger seat,” said Wilson. “I wasn’t willing to give up more of my vehicle and my body to him to lean over and grab it and turn away from him. I thought I was already compromised enough.
“I drew my firearm, I pointed at him. …. ‘Stop I’m going to shoot you’ is what I ordered him to get on the ground,” Wilson said. “He said, ‘You’re too much of a f-cking pussy to shoot me’ and grabbed my gun. When he grabbed my gun, he twisted it, pointed at me and into my hip, pelvic area.”
“At that point,” Wilson said, “I was guaranteed he was going to shoot me.”

Profanity aimed at CNN? How can this be? CNN is the most apologetic network in the United States. No news network is more politically correct than Ted Turner. It appears that some people are not aware of who is promoting the division in this country.

The North Carolina chapter of the NAACP was among a number of local groups weighing in on Monday’s grand jury decision not to indict a police officer in death of Michael Brown when the unarmed teen was fatally shot more than three months ago.
NAACP President Rev. William Barber said at a news conference Tuesday morning that the decision was an “indictment and a charge against a system that is not willing to fully address the racial and discriminatory flaws that exist.”
Barber railed against a judicial system that he says perpetuates discrimination and the criminalization of black men.
“It’s an indictment on a district attorney who was elected to be an advocate for the people and the search of truth as opposed to an advocate for the perpetrator,” Barber said of the decision not to indict officer Darren Wilson. “Mike Brown’s family did not have an advocate in the secret rooms of the grand jury.”

The evil known as the Rev. Barber never fails to be predictable. One of the world’s best examples of a Victimocrat. I guess the black members of the Ferguson grand jury were racist.

Across central North Carolina and around the country, people of various backgrounds and faiths gathered Tuesday night in response to a grand jury’s decision to not indict a Ferguson, Mo. police officer in the shooting death of an 18-year-old man – including a crowd that blocked a major Triangle highway.
A group of about 20 Ferguson protesters briefly blocked the northbound lanes of the Durham Freeway at Mangum Street at about 6:30 p.m., bringing rush hour traffic to a stop.
The group chanted “no justice, no peace” while holding signs and banging a drum. One sign read “cops are liars.” Some of the protestors stood while others laid flat on the roadway.

But according to the pResident, certain communities (black) are mistreated by the police. Maybe the police in Durham did not get the memo.

I respectfully disagree. This is the flag for States’ Rights. But then I am not a Republican or a Democrat. I do believe in the concept of a weak federal government and strong state governments as outlined in the Constitution. Which is the definition of a confederacy. Those who do not know history will be doomed to repeat it. As propaganda will doom us also.
For those who feel this flag represents slavery, you have been misled. However, this symbol of states’ rights has been transformed into this representation. By the federal government, race baiters and our teachers. The question really becomes: what symbol represents states’ rights? As outlined in the Constitution.
Here is a good start:

2200 Central: Several minutes ago, our ACE team heard over the police channels that an AR-15 had been spotted behind a Meineke Car Care store. A minute or two after that, police reported that an AR-15 had been stolen from an unattended police vehicle. Before that, and since then, there have been numerous reports of shots fired at law enforcement in Ferguson.
I couldn’t make this stuff up if I tried.
