10 IS Fighters Have Crossed the Southern Border

AP

Rep. Duncan Hunter (R., Calif.) claimed on Tuesday that “at least 10” Islamic State (IS) fighters have been caught crossing the United States’ southern border and that “there are going to be dozens more” who are not caught by American border patrol, a claim the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) flatly rejects.

Hunter, a member of the House Armed Services Committee (HASC), maintained that his information about IS, also known as ISIS or ISIL, militants crossing the border came directly from border patrol agents on the ground in Texas.

“At least ten ISIS fighters have been caught coming across the border in Texas,” Hunter told Fox News host Greta Van Susteren during an interview. “I’ve asked the border patrol.”

Authorities at the border snagged these ten militants, according to Hunter, who warned, “we know that ISIS is coming across the border. If they catch five or ten of them, you know that there are going to be dozens more that did not get caught by the border patrol.”

Hagan Admits She Skipped Classified Hearing on Islamic State for Fundraiser

Kay Hagan (D., N.C.) admitted following Tuesday night’s debate that she missed an Armed Services Committee hearing because she was at a fundraiser.

The Washington Free Beacon reported last month that on the night of a classified hearing regarding the rise of the Islamic State there was a fundraiser held for Hagan in New York City, making it unlikely that Hagan was able to attend both the classified hearing and the fundraiser.

After weeks of avoiding questions on her whereabouts the day of the classified hearing, Hagan admitted to reporters in a post-debate press conference that she missed the Armed Services Committee hearing due to a fundraiser.

When asked about the hearing after the debate, Hagan said that she was unable to attend because the hearing was postponed till the afternoon.

Obama Put Into Isolation

So the Democrats now understands the consequences of a community organizer instead of a commander-in-chief for their party in an election year. But what about the country? We still have this pResident for over two more years. As the rats abandon the sinking Obama Vacation and Golf Tour Company, how will the scandals, wars and diseases be handled? Or have your politicians come to the conclusion that there is no hope in Socialist change?

In This Election, Obama’s Party Benches Him

When he soared to victory by almost 10 million votes in 2008, President Obama won in states like Virginia that Democratic candidates had not captured since 1964. He was trumpeted as a transformational leader who remade American politics by creating a new electoral map and a diverse voter coalition to shape the Democratic Party for the 21st century.

But for now he has been reduced to something else: an isolated political figure who is viewed as a liability to Democrats in the very states where voters by the thousands had once stood to cheer him.

Spanish Ebola: air traffic is the driver; it’s just a matter of who gets lucky and who gets unlucky.

How can this be? The pResident and CDC told us that Ebola is not airborne. Even though the CDC itself has stated that it is airborne over short distances. Do you feel lucky?

Spain Warns “Something Went Wrong” As Suspected Ebola Cases Rise In Madrid

Despite being described by Spain’s public health director as “a national jewel,” the head of Spain’s Nursing Council warns “something went wrong” in the health care system’s protocols. As RT reports, Spanish health officials have 4 patients interned including infected initial nurse, her husband, and a 2nd nurse (male). Furthermore, 22 more possible Ebola cases are under surveillance having had direct contact with the infected nurse during her vacation after being infected (officials have said they ‘don’t know’ how she became infected with the deadly virus). Images within the hospital show “irregularities” and make-shift isolation units and an insider account said “I do not want to create social alarm, but explain what is still a reality everyday for a few months of nursing staff at the ICU.”. One researcher noted “air traffic is the driver.,” and added ominously, “it’s just a matter of who gets lucky and who gets unlucky.”

Taking Out A Drone Will Get You Arrested

Shooting down a drone on your own property will get you locked up.

Last week, police arrested Russell Percenti of Lower Township, New Jersey after he shot down a drone that he says was flying above his home. Percenti was charged with criminal mischief and unlawful use of a firearm. He was released on a $250 bond.

The owner of the drone said that he was using it to photograph a nearby construction project, but Percenti said that the unmanned aircraft had flown onto his property.

Why Won’t Obama Ban Air Travel From Countries Where Ebola Is Out Of Control?

Plane Landing - Public Domain

Why does Barack Obama refuse to take even the most basic steps to protect Americans from Ebola?  Even though it has already been demonstrated that Ebola can be brought over to the United States by a passenger on an airplane, Obama refuses to do anything that would even restrict air travel from nations where Ebola is spiraling out of control.  Back in September, Obama said that it was “unlikely” that any individual with Ebola could get through the “extensive screening” at our airports and pose a threat to the general population.  But he was wrong.  That has already happened.  And yet the official White House position is that there is “no consideration of a travel ban” at this point.  What possible explanation is there for such gross negligence?

All of this talk about “extensive screening” at our airports is just a smokescreen because it does not exist.  As Mike Adams of Natural News has pointed out, Thomas Eric Duncan walked freely through our airports and entered the general population without ever being asked by U.S. security personnel about where he was from or if he had any health conditions…

Ebola “patient zero” Thomas Eric Duncan flew right into the United States and walked through the international airports of both Washington D.C. and Dallas-Fort Worth. He was never asked about his country of origin and was never screened for any health conditions.

Why are people whose flights originate in Liberia and Sierra Leone still allowed to openly travel to large U.S. cities?

Ebola: Could You Get it from Dogs?

Source: Flickr via Greg Furry

Despite the fact that as an Austinite I’m a few short hours away from Dallas, TX, I’ve managed to remain pretty calm and optimistic about the whole Ebola thing. The virus seems to have been contained in Nigeria and Senegal, and if those two countries can do it, then the US can do it, wherever it crops up.

But then I woke up at 6am this morning thinking, “What if there was an Ebola outbreak in Juarez, Mexico?” And what if people start fleeing in my direction? Okay, that’s not productive. I shook it off and got back to sleep. All was fine until a little while ago, when I was lurking the same surivalistboards.com Ebola thread that the rest of the country, including the media, seems to be lurking as well, and I came across this post about Ebola and man’s best friend.

The post excerpts a study from the CDC’s website [PDF] called “Ebola Virus Antibody Prevalence in Dogs and Human Risk,” the point of which is that there is some evidence that dogs can contract Ebola and spread it while remaining completely asymptomatic.

“This study suggests that dogs can be infected by Ebola virus and that the putative infection is asymptomatic.”

GRNC Victory Eliminates Another Vestige of Jim Crow Gun Control…

The Durham County Sheriff’s Office confirmed via its Facebook page that records kept as part of the County’s handgun registry have been destroyed.

These records have been maintained since 1935 as part of a Jim Crow era law intended to discourage the exercise of Second Amendment rights by minorities.

Durham repealed the registration law in June, but was unwilling to destroy associated records claiming they may have “historical value”.Last month, GRNC President Paul Valone and Director of Legal Affairs Ed Green sent a certified letter to Durham County Clerk of Superior Court Archie Smith advising him that retaining registration records under Durham’s repealed gun registration law was a clear violation of N.C.G.S. 14-409.40, which forbids local governments from regulating firearms. Quoting the relevant statute, the letter said:

And So It Begins

Max + Ivan

Many of you may not have heard of Max Velocity or his novels. Many of his ideas in his article below may seem strange at first. But only because he presents an honest assessment of life in our country. At least those who understand what Liberty means. I ask that you read the whole article and consider how much we have lost. Then consider if you will participate in restoring rightful Liberty. I often wonder what the Constitution would have been if Thomas Jefferson had not been “exiled” to France. I also wonder how long our country would have lasted if Thomas Jefferson had not been President and put our government back on track.

Max makes great points and I agree with them. As always, will you become sentient and act or wallow in apathy? I will no longer participate in this “appropriate police state based on thuggery”. This means that I am not registered to vote. People tell me that this means that I have given up. It really means that I have woken up and understand that voting is not the solution. Anyone who is voting for the lesser of two evils is maintaining and supporting tyranny. And our continued enslavement. I put forth that those who continue to put their faith in the ballot box instead of action are the ones who have “given up”.

I will add one thing to the top of the list of action: Got Faith?

David DeGerolamo

Rightful Liberty and ‘Standing Up’

“Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add ‘within the limits of the law’ because law is often but the tyrant’s will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.”

Thomas Jefferson

For a while now I have avoided any kind of ‘political’ post on the basis that I have been keeping my head low as a tactical training school. You know, the priority is training and being available as a trainer and all that. I find myself unable to do that any longer. I have also eschewed any kind of ‘leadership’ role up to this point. Well, this post isn’t about being a leader, but I am more than willing to stand up as necessary, even if it is just to be the nail that gets hammered down (and anyway, there really isn’t anything to lead, as such).

I’m going to jot a few thoughts down in this post:
