Street Justice: Devastating Counter-Attack Leaves Boardwalk Bully Lying on the Pavement

SHTF Plan - When The Shit Hits the Fan, Don't Say We Didn't Warn You - Preparedness, Planning, News, and Commentary

In his book Surviving the Economic Collapse Fernando ‘Ferfal’ Aguirre says that because most people are used to peace and stability they often realize too late that they are in danger. Rather than taking up defensive positions when pushed or confronted by strangers people tend to default to traditional social guidelines so as not to appear inconsiderate or overly reactionary. “This is based on a natural tendency to please others,” says Aguirre.

But making this mistake could have serious adverse implications for you and your family, because acting just a split-second late could lead to serious injury or even death, an outcome Ferfal witnessed all too often during the disorderly collapse of Argentina in the early 2000′s.

“You have to re-program yourself to react violently when surprised or threatened in any way,” recommends Aguirre, who notes that it is necessary to modify your psychological  and unconscious social behavior in environments where the potential for violence is high. Rather than expecting non-confrontation, a prepared individual should expect exactly the opposite.

The following video, taken on the Atlantic City Boardwalk shows how very quickly a simple disagreement can turn violent.

Radio Host Anthony Cumia From SiriusXM’s ‘Opie and Anthony’ Show Fired

Anthony Cumia, the “Anthony” part of the unfiltered “Opie and Anthony” show on SiriusXM radio, has been fired after criticism mounted over a graphic Twitter rant he engaged in that was called “racist,” “misogynistic,” and “hate-filled.”

According to his Twitter account, Cumia says he was informed of the decision via email.

USA Today confirmed the firing via a statement from SiriusXM:

“SiriusXM has terminated its relationship with Anthony Cumia of the Opie & Anthony channel. The decision was made, and Cumia informed, late Thursday, July 3 after careful consideration of his racially-charged and hate-filled remarks on social media. Those remarks and postings are abhorrent to SiriusXM, and his behavior is wholly inconsistent with what SiriusXM represents.”

Idaho Campus Carry Goes Into Effect, With Limitations

Idaho just became the seventh state to allow concealed carry on college campuses. Gun owners are already taking advantage. Since the law was signed two months ago, the number of Idahoans seeking an “enhanced” gun license that would allow them to carry on campus has gone up by more than 50%.

Unfortunately, that number would be much higher if the law didn’t come with a bunch of unnecessary restrictions.

The first problem is that to get the necessary permit you have to be 21 years old – which leaves out most college students. That sort of defeats the purpose of “campus carry”, doesn’t it?

Placement, Access & Exposure

Guerrillamerica

by Sam Culper III

The starting point of this article should be that intelligence drives the fight, and intelligence requirements drive intelligence gathering.  Without intelligence, operations aren’t prosecuted effectively.  Intelligence tells warfighters where to go, and what or who to look for and/or kill.  Intelligence drives the fight, therefore the fight is not driven without the collection and analysis of intelligence information.  On the flip side, an organization with no warfighters, or with the inability to project force, has no real use for actionable intelligence that drives operations.  Organizations need both in order to win battles and wars.  Good intelligence is just as important as having the riflemen capable of neutralizing threats.  No changes are effected without both.

Since these topics have come up a couple times in the past week, I figured this is as good a time as any to address them specifically.  Placement, access and exposure are all concepts imminently important when collecting information from human sources, or Human Intelligence (HUMINT).  Without a human source’s placement, access and exposure, there is no facilitation of accurate intelligence information.  If cucumbers aren’t planted in your garden, then you will not harvest cucumbers from your garden.  If beer is not put in your refrigerator, then there’s no way you will retrieve a cold beer from the refrigerator.  Accurate information doesn’t magically appear; human sources are exposed to information and it’s the HUMINT collector’s job to identify and retrieve that information.  Without that exposure to the target information, HUMINT collectors can’t obtain that target information.  More on this later…

July 4th IS NOT America’s Birthday, Anymore

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMAbyaenre8

Before you go out and set off your fireworks this 4th of July, you should research March 2nd, 1867. This was America’s rebirth that put modern America’s states and system of government into place. This is no longer a status of independence, but one of DEPENDENCE upon a national system of government.

What Will It Be: Tyranny or Freedom?

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_YGjK5K_Zw

I wrote an article asking:

We find ourselves precariously balanced on the pivot point of freedom or tyranny. The scandals from this administration coupled with the unbridled greed in Washington and Wall Street have put the future of our Liberty into perspective. Will we allow our fate to be determined by politically motivated tyranny? Or will we stand up for our Sacred honor once more?

For those who follow Star Trek, here is a continuation of Mirror, Mirror.

ISIS Is Taking Over Iraq Using Captured American Weapons

The Caliphate On The March - ISIS Media Hub

ISIS is marching through city after city in Iraq, and they are doing it with American weapons.  Thanks to a series of stunning victories in recent months, ISIS has captured a vast array of U.S. military equipment including trucks, Humvees, rockets, artillery pieces and Stinger missiles.  When the U.S. was pulling out of Iraq, we were extremely generous to the new Iraqi army.  We basically armed them to the teeth with equipment that U.S. taxpayers paid for.  But now that the new Iraqi army is folding like a 20 dollar suit in the face of ISIS jihadists, vast quantities of that military equipment are falling into the hands of some of the most radical jihadists the world has ever seen.  And considering the fact that ISIS also recently seized the equivalent of nearly $500 million in cash from a bank in Mosul, the leadership of ISIS won’t be having much problem buying anything else that they might need either.  ISIS is getting stronger with each passing day, and they are not going to be satisfied until the Iraqi government has been toppled.  It is a geopolitical mess of epic proportions, and there don’t seem to be any easy solutions on the horizon.

To say that the new Iraqi army has been incompetent would be a massive understatement.  Not only have they run away like scared kittens from these jihadists, they have also left behind staggering amounts of weaponry for them.  According to the Los Angeles Times, ISIS has captured “the weapons stores of the 2nd and 3rd [Iraqi army] divisions in Mosul, the 4th division in Salah al Din, the 12th division in the areas near Kirkuk, and another division in Diyala”.  And we aren’t just talking about rifles and ammunition.  We are talking about some pretty impressive hardware

Switching Scripts

script

Almost all of us were raised to follow a more or less uniform script through our lives. Sometimes it was specifically taught to us, and other times we just absorbed it by watching others. But regardless of how we were trained, there are two primary problems with following this script:

  1. Following a script is unbecoming to a thinking being and leads in bad directions.
  2. Such scripts reflect what worked a generation ago, and yesterday is gone.

We all know the details of the script, of course. It goes more or less like this:

  • Do well in school.
  • Rebel with music from the entertainment corps.
  • Get shoes, clothes, and gadgets with the best corporate logos.
  • Get a university degree. (If your family isn’t rich, take student loans.)
  • Take a job at a big firm with good benefits.
  • Get a loan and buy a house.
  • Build a 401(k).
  • Believe in democracy.
  • Send your children to daycare, then school.
  • Buy brand-name goods.
  • Watch the best in entertainment.
  • Rely on Social Security and Medicare.

Do these things, and people in authority will approve of you. In fact, nearly everyone from the previous generation will approve of you. After all, you’re following the script that they wrote, back in 1984, a generation ago.

It No Longer Works

In 2014, however, this script no longer works. Manufacturing jobs are way down, selfemployment is down, and even the number of military jobs seems to be declining. We all know college grads who can’t find a job, and others who are working at Starbucks… and lucky to get that.

Poll after poll shows that the Millennial Generation (people born between the early 1980s and the early 2000s) have very little expectation of doing better than their parents. The reason for that is obvious: The old script isn’t working. And while the older generation is emotionally committed to the 1984 script, the young generation isn’t. They know they’re being screwed.

Still, the old script is being promoted in media and by politicians. Almost the entire older generation – or at least those who are televised – do homage to this script, and repetitively.

What is promoted isn’t working for most of us, and government/corporate promoters will change last of all.

So, what is to be done?

Switching Scripts
