STATE DEPARTMENT AMASSING EXPLOSIVES STOCKPILE

The U.S. State Department has ordered hundreds of pounds of plastic explosives and thousands of containers of liquid explosives, WND has discovered, shipping them to the location of U.S. centers that typically send sensitive materials to overseas embassies.

According to procurement documents WND obtained through routine database research, State recently put in four separate orders for high explosives – purchases accompanied by tens of thousands of feet of detonating cords with hundreds of blasting caps and fuse igniters.

The ultimate destination of these products and their cost is unknown, but the government contracting office responsible for arranging the purchases has an address in Dun Loring, Virginia, site of a State diplomatic-security field office.

The procurement documents likewise list the explosives’ shipping destination, or “place of performance,” as Sterling, Va., which is home to the Diplomatic Pouch and Mail Unit, or DPM/U, which is tasked with sending secure pouches and crates to U.S. embassies and consulates worldwide.

Deliveries made through that unit are exempt from the same inspections, for example, that the U.S. Postal Service otherwise would perform.

400 Blackwater Mercs Deployed In Ukraine Against Separatists, German Press Reports

In what is becoming a weekly ritual, the German press continues to demolish the US case of “idealistic humaniatrian” Ukraine intervention. Recall, that it was a week ago that German tabloid Bild am Sonntag, hardly the most reputable source but certainly one which reaches the broadest audience, reported that dozens of CIA and FBI agents were “advising the Ukraine government.” This conclusion is hardly a stretch and certainly based on facts considering the recent semi-secret jaunt by CIA head Brennan to Kiev. Fast forward one week when overnight the same Bild reported that about 400 elite mercenary commandos of the private US security firm, Academi, f/k/a Xe Services, f/k/a Blackwater “are involved in a punitive operation mounted by Ukraine’s new government” against east Ukraine separatists.

Political Ideologies: Politics Makes Life Ugly

political ideologies

We all know people, probably a lot of them, who are decent and well-meaning in most aspects of their lives but whose brains switch into an ugly mode of operation once politics comes up. They are fine neighbors or coworkers until you say something that goes against their ideology, and then they turn into bitter adversaries.

This abrupt change from Ms. Nice to Ms. Nasty can be rather troubling when you see it up close. And for good reason: it’s like a sci-fi movie where an alien takes over one of the crew.

The truth is that political ideologies are a devolutionary influence on us. They make us harsher, angrier, easier to manipulate, and almost impossible to reason with. In almost every way that can be examined, they’re bad for us.

The great problem is that people think they’re required to have political stances. This is a tremendously damaging and false belief, but the Western world is currently addicted to it. In our time, Politics is Almighty.

The truth, however, is that we are more than capable of examining the world and coming to conclusions without the mental partnership of a political ideology.

Ideologies Are Mind Parasites

The Economics Of Marriage

Marriage - Photo by Eric Ward

by Michael Snyder

The marriage rate in the United States has fallen to the lowest level ever recorded.  So why is this happening?  Well, the truth is that there are a lot of reasons why so many young people are choosing not to get married today.  One big reason is money.  Young adults in the U.S. are really struggling to find good jobs, and many are hesitant to take a big step like marriage without achieving a certain level of financial security first.  And as you will see below, many young adults (especially women) do not even want to date someone that is not employed.  In this harsh economic environment, money makes a big difference in the world of romance.  Another big reason for the decline of marriage in America is a seismic shift in cultural attitudes.  Americans (especially young people) do not place the same kind of importance on marriage and having children that they once did.  Instead, more Americans are choosing to “move in together” than ever before.  But if the percentage of Americans that choose to get married continues to decline, what is that going to mean for our future, and what is our country going to look like moving forward?

According to a startling new study conducted at Bowling Green University, the marriage rate in America has fallen precipitously over the past 100 years.

In 1920, there were 92.3 marriages for every 1,000 unmarried women.  In 2012, there were only 31.1 marriages for every 1,000 unmarried women.

Iranian Naval Commander: Operational Goal to Destroy U.S. Naval Force

The Iranian navy frigate IS Alvand

An Iranian admiral said this week that his forces are capable of sinking a U.S. aircraft carrier in less than a minute and destroying any U.S. naval force it confronts.

Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy, said that the realistic looking mockup of a Nimitz class carrier seen in recent satellite images was part of an intensive training program wherein his forces attack replicas of American naval vessels they are likely to encounter. In an interview with the Iranian news agency, Fars, he said his forces could sink an American carrier “in less than a minute”. One of the operational goals of the IRGC Navy, said the admiral, “is destruction of the U.S. naval force.”

Fadavi said his navy has built replicas of American destroyers, frigates, and other warships for training purposes. “We have been making and sinking these replicas for many years”. In these exercises, replicas have been sunk in as little as 50 seconds “through a series of operational measures,” said Fadavi.  It is not clear if the replicas could actually sail or whether they were merely towed for target practice.

Unseen.is Upgrades to Their New Ice Cloud

We will be moving Unseen’s servers to our new Ice Cloud at the Advania Thor Data Center in Iceland this morning (Iceland time).  You might notice some disruptions to service and we apologize for any inconvenience in advance.
This is a huge milestone for our company, as our own new cloud will allow us to expand from 5 servers to the equivalent of about 300 servers and 240 terabytes of high availability storage.  This is all owned by us, it’s not going to use outside servers.
You should see improved performance across most services and this hardware should allow us to serve up to 2 million users.  Additional servers can be added with minimal service disruption in the future, so we are very excited about this development.  We’ll have some software advances to share with you once things settle down from this move.
You might notice a “Service Not Available” message and some connection issues due to a change in our DNS for a few hours.  It’s also possible that some messages might not get delivered for several hours — please bear with us.
If you encounter issues after this upgrade, please contact support@unseen.is.
Best Always,
The Unseen Team

False East/West Paradigm Hides The Rise Of Global Currency

by Brandon Smith

Despite popular belief, very few things in our world are exactly what they seem. That which is painted as righteous is often evil. That which is painted as kind is often malicious. That which is painted as simple is often complex. That which is painted as complex often ends up being disturbingly two dimensional. Regardless, if a person is willing to look only at the immediate surface of a thing, he will never understand the content of the thing.

This fact is nowhere more evident than in the growing “tensions” between the elites of the West and the elites of the East over the crisis in Ukraine.

I am continually astonished at the refusal of many otherwise intelligent people to consider the evidence or even the possibility that there is, in reality, no fundamental political or philosophical conflict between the power brokers of the East and the West. As I outlined in great detail in Russia Is Dominated By Global Banks, Too, the truth is they are both working toward the same goal; and both ultimately benefit from an engineered and theatrical display of international brinksmanship.

Russia, like the United States, is utterly beholden to globalist financiers through organizations like the International Monetary Fund and the Bank for International Settlements. Russia’s global economic adviser in matters ranging from investment image to privatization is none other than Goldman Sachs.

Sore Loser

Here is Cherokee County Commissioner David Wood’s sentiment published in the Cherokee Scout after losing in the primary to Dr. Dan Eichenbaum yesterday:

“It is a sigh of relief to me. I don’t have to be part of that three-ring circus at the courthouse with that bunch of clowns. The people chose their medicine. Let them drink it.”

Thoughts on the Primaries

See additional comments on Tea Party Nation. Be warned, it is a cat fight there.

The referendum in North Carolina yesterday was clear: Constitution vs. GOP elite. Obviously a grassroots’ movement to reestablish the Constitution and the voice of the people failed. The 2008 elections woke up an apathetic nation and the Tea Party movement formed. They had a major impact on the 2010 elections and the Democrat Party in conjunction with the media started their smear campaign.

But a strange thing happened in 2012: the Tea Party mounted successful campaigns against establishment GOP candidates. Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and Rand Paul took the stage in Congress as a new front supporting the Constitution. The consequences of a rising tide of the people threatened the heart of the GOP elite. And we saw the consequences yesterday of a campaign financed by liberals (Renee Ellmers and her support for immigration reform) and a campaign financed by the national Republican Party (Thom Tillis).

The people will never be able to compete monetarily against the political parties and the media. So where does that leave a disillusioned populace whose belief in a political solution is rapidly being shattered? As I have stated in the past, “Why would we expect the politicians from both parties who have put our nation and Liberty in peril to become our saviors”? It is time to wake up and believe in ourselves with the help of Divine Providence instead of domestic enemies.
