U.S. Conducts Spy Flight Over Russia

by Bill Gertz

After a tit-for-tat series of delays, the United States conducted an Open Skies Treaty intelligence flight over Russian territory on Monday, a State Department official said.

The spy flight originally was scheduled for April 14 but was canceled by Russia after a U.S. team for the flight failed to arrive near Moscow on time and Moscow refused temporarily to reschedule it.

A Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman also expressed anger on Monday over U.S. delays in certifying a new high-tech Russian aircraft to be used for spying missions over the United States under the Open Skies Treaty that permits limited legal spying over U.S. and Russian territory.

The State Department official said, however, that last week’s delay was the result of bad weather – despite radar images showing mostly clear skies over of Russia during the period of last week’s planned flight.

China Seizes Japanese Cargo Vessel (Over War-Debts)

We noted yesterday, Japan’s decision to send an Abe cabinet official to the Yasukuni shrine (home of Class A war criminals) and Abe’s sending of an offering, warning it will likely see retaliation from China. We didn’t have to wait long. As BBC News reportsChina has seized a Japanese cargo ship (over a pre-war debt). With President Obama due to visit in days, it seems the tensions between China and Japan may force his hand to pick sides.

As BBC News reports, China’s seizure of a Japanese cargo ship over a pre-war debt could hit business ties, Japan’s top government spokesman has warned.

Shanghai Maritime Court said it had seized the Baosteel Emotion, owned by Mitsui OSK Lines, on Saturday.

It said the seizure related to unpaid compensation for two Chinese ships leased in 1936.

Threat Characteristics and TO&E

Guerrillamerica

by Sam Culper

I hopped on WRSA this morning and saw a couple articles describing the blurred lines between military and law enforcement. A series of questions asked,   Were there “mercenaries” working for BLM at the Bundy Ranch?, Do regime agencies have the ability to put boots on ground through private military contracts?, and What is the make up of former military veterans currently working for regime agencies?

Those are all great questions and I’d like to address them indirectly.  One recurring theme in the Intelligence Collection and Analysis (ICAC) courses I teach is the lack of knowledge about military units, specifically the Table of Organization & Equipment (TO&E).  No one in particular is to blame, however it’s something that we need to become familiar with, if not already.  How many soldiers are in a typical Military Police company and platoon?  How many guns does a typical artillery company have?  What are the differences between National Guard and Regular Army mechanized infantry platoons?

If I was running the Analysis and Control Element (ACE) at the Bundy Ranch, one of my intelligence requirements (IR) would be, What is the strength and disposition of regime forces in the Area of Operations (AO)?  If we want to bridge intelligence gaps, then we start asking questions and tasking out collection to answer those questions.  How are they organized?  What equipment do they have?  These are some critical intelligence requirements that, by direct experience, most Patriots haven’t asked.

New Syrian-Iranian chlorine bombs make mockery of US-Russian chemical accord and UN monitors

Liquid chlorine gas: Assad's new chemical weapon

The household cleaning agent chlorine, in heavy concentration is purchased by Iran and and fitted with  detonators, to provide President Bashar Assad with a vehicle for cheating on his undertaking to surrender Syria’s chemical arsenal under the year-old US-Russian chemical disarmament accord. And Assad is indeed getting away with using chlorine bombs, with crippling effect, especially on children, every few days.

Nonetheless, Sigrid Kaag of the UN Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons said Saturday, April 19, that Syria had destroyed approximately 80 percent of its arsenal as agreed under the Kerry-Lavrov accord. At this rate, she said, Syria will have got rid of 100 percent of its chemical arsenal by the April 27 deadline.

The French President Francois Hollande admitted April 20, however, that the Syrian leader had continued to use chemical weapons on the front line, but he denied that definite proof had not been established.
On April 7, Israel Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon offered chapter and verse to prove that the Syrian army had perpetrated a chemical attack on civilians in he town of Harasta on March 27, causing scores of serious injuries and lasting damage to children.

New drone strike in Yemen kills 55 Al Qaeda militants

yemen drone.jpg

A suspected U.S. drone strike in southern Yemen killed 55 militants Monday, in the third deadly attack on an Al Qaeda training camp in the area in several days.

Yemen’s interior ministry says among those killed in an hours-long campaign of strikes on the camp in the rugged mountains of Mahfad between Abyan, Shabwa and al-Bayda provinces were three senior members of Al Qaeda. The ministry said the identification process for those killed is ongoing.

The operation kicked off Sunday and is believed to have involved U.S. drones. Security officials said the camp’s infrastructure was destroyed.

Unidentified Yemen tribal leaders earlier said one of the killed commanders was Munnaser al-Anbouri.

Hope from the “Remember Lexington Green” Rally

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFSdnv7Aws0

I attended the Oath Keepers’ Remember Lexington Green Rally on April 19th, 2014 in Atlanta, GA. I had not planned to attend this event and actually discovered it five hours prior to its start. It took an hour of wrestling with the Lord about whether I would attend this event. He won.

This was the first rally that I attended where I left with hope for our future. I have attended many demonstrations, protests, rallys and conventions but I have never left an event feeling hope for the future.

So what was different?

1. All of the speakers were Oath Keepers and veterans. Here are the links to three of the speeches by very distinguished veterans:

Bill Looman

Howard Mullen

Snowden reporter promises more NSA revelations are coming

One of the reporters honored with a Pulitzer Prize last week for his reports on National Security Agency surveillance on Sunday promised further revelations.

The Guardian’s Glenn Greenwald told CNN’S Reliable Sources that there would be new surprises stemming from Edward Snowden’s leaks in a book coming out in May.

“There are stories that I felt from the beginning really needed the length of a book to be able to report and to do justice to, so there’s new documents, there’s new revelations in the book that I think will help inform the debate even further,” Greenwald said.

Greenwald said he felt honored when Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) denounced the Pulitzer board for giving its public service prize to The Guardian and The Washington Post for their Snowden stories.

Patriot Information Network, or Something

christian mercenary

by T.L. Davis

After reading some very reliable accounts of the Bundy Ranch events it is clear that communication was an issue. Rumors swirled in the electronic air of the Internet. Getting any reliable information out of the Bundy Ranch was difficult due to the fact that those engaged in the action had little time and/or ability to reach out to the greater community and provide truth with details.

The surprising and pleasing fact is that thousands of patriots were willing to mobilize against the threat posed by the federal government. That they didn’t know where to go, or who to believe kept a lot of reinforcements on the sidelines. As this struggle against a corrupt and dangerously impudent gang in Washington that call itself “government” it will be even more important to dispatch quality intel and get appropriate responses.

The Federal Government Does Not Legally Own the Land in Nevada

Nevada-Protest

The truth behind Nevada is of course just a quagmire of politics. Nevada was a key pawn in getting Abraham Lincoln reelected in 1864 during the middle of the Civil War. Back on March 21st, 1864, the US Congress enacted the Nevada Statehood statute that authorized the residents of Nevada Territory to elect representatives to a convention for the purpose of having Nevada join the Union. This is where we find the origin of the fight going on in Nevada that the left-wing TV commenters (pretend-journalists) today call a right-wing uprising that should be put down at all costs. The current land conflict in Nevada extends back to this event in 1864 and how the territory of Nevada became a state in order to push through a political agenda to create a majority vote. I have said numerous times, if you want the truth, just follow the money.

The “law” at the time in 1864 required that for a territory to become a state, the population had to be at least 60,000. At that time, Nevada had only about 40,000 people. So why was Nevada rushed into statehood in violation of the law of the day? When the 1864 Presidential election approached, there were special interests who were seeking to manipulate the elections to ensure Lincoln would win reelection. They needed another Republican congressional delegation that could provide additional votes for the passage of the Thirteenth Amendment to abolish slavery. Previously, the attempt failed by a very narrow margin that required two-thirds support of both houses of Congress.

BNP Banker, His Wife And Nephew Murdered In Belgium

In the beginning it was banker suicides. Then about two weeks ago, suicides were replaced by outright murders after the execution-style killing of the CEO of a bank in otherwise sleepy (and tax evasive) Lichtenstein by a disgruntled client. Then on Friday news hit of another execution-type murder in just as sleepy, if not so tax evasive, Belgium, where in the city of Vise, a 37-year-old Director at BNP Paribas Fortis was murdered alongside his wife and a 9 year old nephew in a premeditated and orchestrated drive-by shooting.

L’venir reports:

According to Marcel Neven, Mayor of Vise, nothing can yet explain what caused the violent shooting that rocked the neighborhood sports hall of his town this Friday, April 18, late at night. A man of 37 years, Benedict Philippens, bank manager Ans-Saint-Nicolas, was shot. A little 9 year old boy, living in Dolhain, was also killed. A lady, the wife of the man and the boy aunt and godmother, Carol Haid, 37 also died of his injuries on Saturday, in the morning. She was hit by three bullets in the back, said a judicial source.
