More Bank CEOs Murdered – ABN Amro and Bank Frick & Co.

Jürgen Frick is the latest murder victim  in what is becoming a world wide series of banking/financial officials’ murders and suicides. If these events are based on an impending economic collapse, it appears that the clock is fast approaching midnight.

CEO Of Liechtenstein Bank Frick Murdered

Over the weekend the world was gripped by the drama surrounding the mysterious murder-homicide of the former CEO of Dutch bank ABN Amro and members of his family, and whether there is more foul play than meets the eye. However, that is nothing compared to what just happened in the tiny, and all too quiet Principality of Lichtenstein, where moments ago the CEO of local financial institution Bank Frick & Co. AG, Juergen Frick, was shot dead in the underground garage of the bank located in the city of Balzers.

Based on preliminary reports, the murder is the result of a disgruntled fund manager, Juergen Germann, who had previously been embroiled in a “bitter dispute” with the government and the bank. Bloomberg has more:

A 48-year-old man was shot dead in the underground garage of a financial institution in Balzers at 7:30 a.m. local time, the principality’s police said on its website. The suspect, Juergen Hermann, fled the scene in a Smart car with Liechtenstein number plates, according to police. Neither the victim nor the institution were identified in the statement.

The deceased was Juergen Frick, CEO of Bank Frick & Co. AG, Switzerland’s Radio 1 said in an e-mailed statement, citing employees of the bank. Calls to Bank Frick were answered by a voice-mail message saying the company is closed because of “a death.” It gave no further details.

There are currently no plans to screen Captain America: The Winter Soldier at the White House, as far as the film’s directors have heard. But if it makes it to the White House family theater, President Obama would be watching one big-budget, action-packed, and Scarlett Johansson-starring critique of his controversial terror-suspect “kill list.”

This isn’t me reading things into a mainstream comic-book movie. It’s what the directors themselves will tell you.

Crimea 2.0: Donetsk Activists Declare Kiev Independence, Request “Temporary Peacekeeping” Support From Putin

Less than a month after the Crimean referendum which pulled the region away from Ukraine and ceded it to Russia, another east Ukraine regional city, Donetsk, has just declared its independence from Kiev following the previously reported mini coup yesterday in which pro-Russia activists seized the government building in the city, as well as the other two regional capitals. Specifically, as RT reports, today at 12:20 local time, a session of the people’s Council of Donbass (Donetsk region) took place in the main hall of the Regional Council and without the police (whose allegiance to Kiev also appears to be non-existent) intervening, unanimously voted on a declaration to form a new independent state: the People’s Republic of Donetsk.

Sure enough, promptly thereafter the Council of the new republic issued an address to Russian President Vladimir Putin, asking for deployment of a temporary peacekeeping force to the region. Just like Crimea.

And so another city pulls away from Ukraine and gives Russia the go ahead to create a toehold in East Ukraine, just according to Putin’s plan.

Billboard Controversy in Clyde, NC

The billboard reads “Coexist, tolerance, sexual perversion?” “God says ‘NO!'” “Jesus said the kingdom of heaven is now. That’s not the kingdom of heaven,” said Michelle Grosse of Clyde. “That’s rude and nasty,” she says.

Grosse noticed the billboards last week. She says she thinks they are offensive and is upset someone is using signage to send the wrong message. Grosse says she believe the billboards promote intolerance and are unchristian.

People in Clyde have mixed reaction to Grosse’s complaints. “If they want to complain about something, complain about something that needs to be fixed,” said Allen Thornburg.

Fort Hood rampage sparks call for post-combat mental health exams

Service members returning from combat should be subject to more thorough mental examinations, Rep. Tim Murphy said Sunday in response to last week’s shooting spree at Fort Hood.

The Pennsylvania Republican, a clinical psychiatrist in the Naval Reserves who treats soldiers with post-traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD) said the military should beef up its evaluation of troops returning from overseas.

Currently, troops are asked to fill out post-combat questionnaires meant to detect signs of mental issues, Murphy said during an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

“Many times, service members minimize what they’re saying in terms of there being a problem,” Murphy said. “They need a little more detailed ‘check-up from the neck up,’ as it’s referred to.”

Wednesday’s shooting appears to have been precipitated by a simple dispute over paperwork. But Spc. Ivan Lopez, who killed three people and injured 16 before turning his gun on himself, had reportedly been evaluated for PTSD and was grieving over the deaths of his mother and grandfather.

Pro-Russia protesters seize Ukraine buildings, Kiev blames Putin

Pro-Russian protesters seized state buildings in three east Ukrainian cities on Sunday, triggering accusations from the pro-European government in Kiev that President Vladimir Putin was orchestrating “separatist disorder”.

The protesters stormed regional government buildings in the industrial hub of Donetsk and security service offices in nearby Luhansk, waving Russian flags and demanding a Crimea-style referendum on joining Russia.

Protesters also later seized the regional administrative building in Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second largest city, Interfax news agency reported. All three cities lie close to Ukraine’s border with Russia.

Interior Minister Arsen Avakov vowed to restore order in eastern Ukraine without using violence and also accused Ukraine’s ousted president Viktor Yanukovich, whose political base was in Donetsk, of conspiring with Putin to fuel tensions.

CIA Official Dies in Apparent Suicide

A senior CIA official has died in an apparent suicide this week from injuries sustained after jumping off a building in northern Virginia, according to sources close to the CIA.

CIA spokesman Christopher White confirmed the death and said the incident did not take place at CIA headquarters in McLean, Va.

“We can confirm that there was an individual fatally injured at a facility where agency work is done,” White told the Washington Free Beacon. “He was rushed to a local area hospital where he subsequently died. Due to privacy reasons and out of respect for the family, we are not releasing additional information at this time.”

A source close to the agency said the man who died was a middle manager and the incident occurred after the man jumped from the fifth floor a building in Fairfax County.

Why Save for the Future?

People are coming to the realization that money will be worthless in the future. Food prices are up 19% since Jan. 1, 2014. Pork prices are up 45% in this same period of time. If you want to keep the value of your labor, I suggest that you get out of the 1’s and 0’s and convert it to food, clothing and other essentials. The dollar is collapsing as people who work for their sustenance know. The chickens from the Federal Reserve are coming home to roost.

This Is What Employment In America Really Looks Like…

The level of employment in the United States has been declining since the year 2000.  There have been moments when things have appeared to have been getting better for a short period of time, and then the decline has resumed.  Thanks to the offshoring of millions of jobs, the replacement of millions of workers with technology and the overall weakness of the U.S. economy, the percentage of Americans that are actually working is significantly lower than it was when this century began.  And even though things have stabilized at a reduced level over the past few years, it is only a matter of time until the next major wave of the economic collapse strikes and the employment level goes even lower.  And the truth is that more good jobs are being lost every single day in America.  For example, as you will read about below, Warren Buffett is shutting down a Fruit of the Loom factory in Kentucky and moving it to Honduras just so that he can make a little bit more money.  We see this kind of betrayal over and over again, and it is absolutely ripping the middle class of America to shreds.
