Brutal Attack on U.S. Citizen by Muslim Gang in London

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvYRw8KWKPI#t=46s

From YouTube:

Clarion Project’s National Security Analyst Ryan Mauro explains to Megyn Kelly that the brutal attack by a Muslim gang on an American student on the streets of London must be seen on the backdrop of the growing number of Islamist Muslim patrols enforcing Sharia (Islamic law) in parts of London.

Regarding the existence of Islamist militants in the U.S., Mauro said that a radical group called Jamaat ul-Fuqra has large communes around the U.S. and viewers saw a secret ul-Fuqra videotape showing female members receiving guerrilla warfare training at its “Islamberg” headquarters in New York.

The Economy Can Never Fully Recover as Long as This Remains…

government regulations and business

When I was a young man, the older men I admired were the independent businessmen. Being a corporate suit issuing orders to underlings never appealed to me, but being a successful man who controlled his own life and business… that did.

Perhaps as a result, most of my friends are independent business people of one sort or another. Not long ago, I had a notable conversation with one of them, during which he said:

You know, Paul, business used to be fun. I’d take my children around and show them what we were doing, and explain the differences we’d make.

I waited just a beat as he winced and then continued:

Now, I don’t want to drag my kids into my business. Every time I move, there are regulations, permissions, forms to file. It takes up most of my time, for nothing. Business isn’t fun anymore. If I could find something else, I’d get out.

And this is a man who has been in his business since childhood, who loves to tell stories about it, and who used to enjoy his work immensely. If this guy is looking for the exit, the problem is dire.

It’s pretty obvious why

Why Didn’t Anyone Help This Soldier?

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DkhrWZ6twjw

From YouTube:

COLUMBIA, SC — A drunken sheriff’s deputy was recorded during a strange and inappropriate altercation when he tried to arrest a female soldier at a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant in Columbia.

On October 7th, 23-year-old Brittany Ball, a USMC member out of Fort Jackson, was allegedly upset at the restaurant when approached by Richland County Deputy Paul Allen Derrick. She apparently turned down his advances and the two began to argue.

Derrick, a 17 year veteran, left the restaurant to go retrieve handcuffs and his gun from his vehicle, then returning to try and arrest Ball. He was recorded screaming at her and barking orders as he twisted her arms behind her back.

Columbia police arrived and saw the video and ordered Derrick release Ball, then took Derrick into custody and charged him with assault and battery

Sheriff Leon Lott initially backed Derrick, saying that he had authority to make an arrest, suggesting that Ball was “resisting”.

After a week of pressure and reasoning, Sheriff Lott placed Derrick on leave without pay.

The Ten US Cities With Less Than Ten Days Of Cash On Hand

As the Detroit bankruptcy hearing heats up following news that the city’s unsecured creditors, among them pensioners, are set to recover pennies on the dollar, 16 to be precise, the question of which are the next cities to follow in the footsteps of bankrupt Motown, becomes relevant once again. Courtesy of the WSJ, and the second part of its series on “U.S. Cities Grapple With Finances“, here is a list of the US cities that when push comes to shove metaphorically, and when the money runs out literally, will have no choice but to knock on the door of the local regional bankruptcy court and submit that long-prepared bankruptcy petition. Specifically, here are the cities that have 10 days or less in cash on hand available. Because, unless one is the Fed, cash and lack thereof is all that matters.

The list below ranks the top 10 cities in terms of days cash on hand. Needless to say, a city with a low number in this category (such as 0.0) may have trouble paying bills, bribes, lap dances and other core municipal outlays.

The Beginning of the Crash

While the Federal Reserve uses POMO to artificially inflate the stock market, reality is sinking in. Are you sitting on the sidelines watching or are you taking action to protect your family and assets?

David DeGerolamo

What’s Wrong With This Picture?

September retail sales were a modest miss: that much was made clear earlier. However, what the market may have missed is that this “miss” was on the back of Department of Commerce’s favorite fudge factor: seasonal adjustments. The 0.1% “decline” in retail sales was for the seasonally adjusted numbers of $426.3 billion in August and $425.9 billion in September. So what happens when one strips away the Arima-X-12 a la carte adjustment which is always and everywhere in the eye of the beholder? Well, this:

Consumer Confidence Plunges Most In 2 Years

Following the lowest UMich confidence print in 2013Gallup’s economic confidence collapse, and Bloomberg’s index of consumer comfort signaling major concerns among rich and poor in this country (in spite of record highs in stocks), today’s Conference Board Consumer Confidence data  continues to confirm a problem for all those ‘hoping’ for moar multiple expansion. From 80.2 in September, confidence collapsed to 71.2 (the largest MoM drop in 2 years) to its lowest in six months, and notably below expectations. As we have noted in the past a 10 point drop in confidence has historically led to a 2x multiple compression in stocks (which suggests the Fed will need to un-Taper some more to keep the dream alive). Hope for the future dropped to 7-month lows but what is perhaps most intriguing, just as with the Bloomberg surveys, we are seeing the wealthiest cohorts confidence plunging (even as stocks soar to new highs). It would appear the Fed has lost its wealth effect inspiration.

LBMA Collapse, Gold & The Greatest Short Squeeze In History

With continued turmoil in global markets around the world, today one of the savviest and most well-connected hedge fund managers in the world spoke with King World News about the coming LBMA collapse, Andrew Maguire, gold, and what will be “the greatest short squeeze in modern financial history.”

One of the options that was looked at very closely by the Reserve Bank of India was actually similar to what goes on at the Comex.  In other words, luring Indians into buying paper gold, and as a result, (it would) deflect interest that would otherwise be routed to physical gold.  If the contracts were created on an Indian exchange, that would be all the better because in theory it would help solve the current account deficit problem.

What’s interesting is there is a Chapter V in this Reserve Bank of India report titled, ‘Dematerialization Of Gold.’  And as you get to the chart under gold-backed instruments in global trends, what you wind up with is a chart that was excerpted right out of CPM’s book from 2011.  What the chart shows is the paper claims on gold being approximately 93 to 1 vs physical gold that is available in the same year.  This is an astonishing admission.

MEGYN KELLY EXPLODES ON DEMOCRAT OVER SHOCKING OBAMACARE REPORT: ‘LET’S HAVE A SUBSTANTIVE DISCUSSION!’

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tv-uFnjha1I

From YouTube:

Megyn Kelly was completely shocked, to say the least, about the news that the White House knew as far back as 2010 that many people would lose their health care plans when Obamacare kicked in, and confronted Democratic guest Mark Hannah when he attempted to defend how the rollout’s been going so far.

Kelly asked, “Was he intentionally misleading, or was there some argument that he was grossly mistaken?”

Hannah argued Obama was “absolutely correct,” explaining that “these plans don’t offer the basic protections that the president has been saying all along are required in any insurance plan unless it has been grandfathered in beforehand.”

But Kelly wasn’t satisifed. She yelled, “Mark! He said ‘period,’ he said if you like your plan you can keep it PERIOD!”

Kristen Soltis Anderson piled on that if any part of someone’s insurance plan was changed at all, “then the grandfathering gets thrown out the window.” When Hannah kept trying to defend the program, Kelly snapped, “No, no come on! Respond to my—-I know you can bridge away to a happy place for you.”

Hannah argued the media could have been covering this a while ago but “maybe it was underreported.” Kelly mockingly shot back, “It was my fault, it was the media’s fault, it was the American people’s fault, because they should have understood that period did not mean period.”

China central bank seeks to reassure money markets after rate spike

China’s central bank sought to reassure money market traders that a spike in short-term interest rates does not signal a dramatic tightening of liquidity, sources said, in an apparent move to avoid a repeat of a credit panic that roiled markets in June.

The People’s Bank of China also warned against “excessive leverage”, or borrowing, that would leave banks overexposed to sudden spikes in demand for cash, said the sources, who attended a closed-door meeting between a PBOC official and traders from major financial institutions late last week.

China’s short-term interest rates began rising sharply last week, leaving banks stretching for funds even as the central bank repeatedly declined to inject fresh cash.

As a result, the most commonly traded instruments jumped, with the benchmark seven-day bond repurchase contract quoted at nearly 7 percent on October 24, its highest level since June.

Asian shares fell in response on Thursday as investors feared tighter monetary conditions could weigh on China’s economic growth.

Stunner! White House admits Obamacare kills policies

obama-healthcare-looking-down-biting-lip

On Monday, White House spokesman Jay Carney admitted the law is killing off health insurance policies that Americans currently hold, and NBC reported that the administration knew that was what would happen as long as three years ago.

At least two different investigations are being launched by Congress, a commentary showed that even the paper signup process for Obamacare doesn’t work, and Alaska simply gave up – canceling signups because virtually no one was participating.

Carney’s comments camed in response to a question from journalist Ed Henry.

He asked, “The president, when he was trying to get the law passed, repeatedly said, if you currently have health insurance you will be able to keep your plan. This morning David Axelrod was pressed on that point and said, the majority – the vast majority – will be able to keep their plans. He no longer works at the White House. From the podium, will you admit that when [the] president said, if you have a plan, you’ll get to keep it, that that was not true?”

“After some throat clearing, Carney said, “So it’s true there are existing health care plans on the individual market that do not meet those minimum standards and therefore do not qualify for the Affordable Care Act,’” reported the Weekly Standard.

Culture of Ignorance

Pig Mud Wallow to Make Romans Jealous
The kabuki theater that passes for governance in Washington D.C. reveals the profound level of ignorance shrouding this Empire of Debt in its prolonged death throes. Ignorance of facts; ignorance of math; ignorance of history; ignorance of reality; and ignorance of how ignorant we’ve become as a nation, have set us up for an epic fall. It’s almost as if we relish wallowing in our ignorance like a fat lazy sow in a mud hole. The lords of the manor are able to retain their power, control and huge ill-gotten riches because the government educated serfs are too ignorant to recognize the self-evident contradictions in the propaganda they are inundated with by state controlled media on a daily basis.
