Everything you wanted to know about precious metals but were afraid to ask

coins.fw

As the Federal Reserve Bank continues to print $85 Billion each month, sensible people are concerned about how it will affect their personal wealth. The entity that spends each worthless paper dollar first, be it the federal government or a private bank, gets to spend that dollar at its current face value. The act of spending it, however, dilutes the total pool of circulating dollars and, therefore, devalues the dollar for each subsequent user. The result is an inevitable inflationary pressure on everyone’s cost of living.

If the federal government reported inflation with honest numbers, we would have “official” proof of what we already know – prices of life’s necessities are rising. This hurts the poor and people on fixed incomes who cannot increase their personal revenue to pay for food, housing, and transportation.

Most disturbing is the fact that the printing presses are running at maximum capacity in virtually every nation on earth. Moreover, countries are busy loaning money to each other, knowing that repayment of these debts is impossible. It is only a matter of time before this unstable house of cards collapses causing economic chaos and a social upheaval of epic proportions. The world’s financial elite have insulated themselves from catastrophe by owning and controlling national banks such as the Federal Reserve in our country. Clearly their plan is to use the panic, turmoil, and disorder to force the adoption of a global currency and world government under their control.

Today’s Lexington Green

War Vets, WAR MEMORIAL, Obama

What does Lexington Green mean to you? Most people would not be able to answer this simple question. Here is a portion of the events leading up to the shot heard round the world:

Word spread from town to town, and militias prepared to confront the British and help their neighbors in Lexington and Concord.

These COLONIAL MILITIAS had originally been organized to defend settlers from civil unrest and attacks by French or Native Americans.  Selected members of the militia were called MINUTEMEN because they could be ready to fight in a minute’s time.

Sure enough, when the advance guard of nearly 240 British soldiers arrived in Lexington, they found about 70 minutemen formed on the LEXINGTON GREEN awaiting them. Both sides eyed each other warily, not knowing what to expect. Suddenly, a bullet buzzed through the morning air.

It was “the shot heard round the world.”

Did we just have a new shot heard round the world that will lead to a new revolution and restore our Liberty? The Obama regime has blocked veterans from World War II from entering the WWII Memorial in Washington. Our greatest generation stood against tyranny starting at the end of 1941 at great personal cost.  They stood against tyranny again this week as they removed barricades and entered the memorial. But as before, tyranny has come into the light with all of the arrogance of assumed power. Fences have been erected and security guards dispatched to ensure that no veterans would be allowed to enter.

What is not being widely told is that the memorial is privately maintained and has no government expenses associated with it. Until now. There is security in place to ensure 90+ year old veterans cannot enter the memorial. And then there is the cost associated to pay SEIU protestors $15/hr to harass the veterans:

Will the American people stand up to tyranny as before? If not now, when? I say that this is a watershed moment that should be new Lexington Green. Except for one thing: this is what Obama wants. Think about it. Why would such a blatant attack against our most revered war heroes be made at this time? I believe it is an attempt to incite civil unrest so that martial law can be declared. The perfect storm of the debt ceiling, budget crisis and Obamacare collapse have destroyed our country. What other alternative does our “government” have?

But when events do unfold, “Remember the Veterans” should be our battle cry.

US Banks Preparing for Bank Runs

Bank runs in the United States? Who would have thought it?

David DeGerolamo

US Banks Stuffing ATMs With 20-30% More Cash In Case Of Panicked Withdrawals

Even as the fearmongering over the debt ceiling hits proportions not seen since 2011 (when it was the precipitous drop in the market that catalyzed a resolution in the final minutes, and when four consecutive 400 point up and down DJIA days cemented the deal – a scenario that may be repeated again), some banks are taking things more seriously, and being well-aware that when it comes to banks, any initial panic merely perpetuates more panic, have taken some radical steps. The FT reports that “two of the country’s 10 biggest banks said they were putting into place a “playbook” used in August 2011 when the government last came close to breaching the debt ceiling. One senior executive said his bank was delivering 20-30 per cent more cash than usual in case panicked customers tried to withdraw funds en masse. Banks are also holding daily emergency meetings to discuss other steps, including possible free overdrafts for customers reliant on social security payments from the government.”

Would you join NC LISTEN to visit Congresswoman Renee Ellmers locally

Immigration Activists and Concerned Citizens,

Congresswoman Renee Ellmers from North Carolina says we need immigration reform that is in line with the realities facing “undocumented” people (what about the realities facing unemployed citizens and the taxpayers) and she supports illegal immigrants getting legal work status (she apparently is ignorant that North Carolina’s unemployment rate is the third highest and worst in the nation).

Congresswoman Ellmers frequently focuses only on the border and controlling it.  Remember that any member of Congress that focuses mostly on the border only (like Senator John McCain and a host of others) and not in concert with other enforcement measures is not serious about real immigration enforcement.

I will be setting up a meeting.  Let me know if you could join us in either Dunn or Asheboro, NC.  It would be in the next week or so and it is especially good if you are in her Congressional District.

Let me hear from you.  Thanks.

Regards,

Ron Woodard

The sky is falling — the sky is falling

Well, so far, so good — the great partial government shutdown of 2013 has been exposed for what it is —an Orson Welles spoof rivaling the Y2K apocalypse that wasn’t, and Obama’s sequester warning that was only nonsensical yapping designed to scare old women.

After running out into the yard Wednesday morning to make sure that there were no pieces of sky lying around – I, like probably the majority of Americans, returned to my normal daily activities.

We have a President who is fully loaded with beans. He can talk —boy can he talk. Talk. Talk. Talk. His talking got the United States’ buttocks deep in the Syria mess. His talking almost got the United States involved in a shooting civil war in Syria. “Let me be perfectly clear . . .” “I am confident that . . .” The things he is clear about, he is not – and the things that he is confident about – we shouldn’t be. So much for the teleprompter in charge!

The one thing that President Obama never talks about is the national debt. Treasury Secretary Lew thinks we will run out of money later this month —most financially minded individuals would think that we were out of money $17 trillion ago. When you have to borrow more money every day —where’s the money?

Debt ceiling: Countdown to default

capitol debt ceiling

Congress is sowing the seeds of a debt ceiling crisis: If lawmakers don’t raise the limit on federal borrowing soon, they will put the nation at risk of defaulting on some of its legal obligations.

When exactly? Much has been made of Oct. 17 as the drop-dead date. But that’s not quite right.

And here’s why.

The country reached the debt ceiling in May. Since then the Treasury Department has been using special accounting measures to keep borrowing just under the limit.

But Treasury Secretary Jack Lew has said those will run out no later than Oct. 17.

That means the “extraordinary measures” could dry up on Oct. 12 or Oct. 15, or some other date. Just no later than Oct. 17.
