Tippecanoe School for the Arts and Humanities asked students to dress as a member of the opposite sex during last week’s “Gender Bender Day”.
“I was speechless actually, and I asked a few of the neighbors because I thought I was overreacting, stuff like that, and everybody was speechless,” said one mother, who asked not to be identified. She and other parents chose to keep their kids home on Friday.
Once some parents complained, the name of the theme was changed to Switch It Up Day. One student’s father, who didn’t want to be identified, says he doesn’t want his son to dress as a girl. “I think it’s just teaching them the wrong lesson about gender. If you’re a boy, stay a boy. You shouldn’t have something like that at school,” said the father.

Although there is quite a bit of debate among experts about how many times guns are used in self-defense situations every year, a conservative estimate is about 100,000 occurrences, according to Business Week. As a study at the University of Northwestern School of Law highlights, a more accurate estimate is probably between 250,000 and 375,000 per year. This means that every day, around 700-1,000 people in the United States use a gun to protect themselves or stop a crime.
Now imagine how many more of these incidences would occur in any given doomsday scenario, and you can see why having a gun that is effective at short range is critical. When you think of a short-range gun, a handgun is likely the first thing that comes to mind. Handguns are very effective for self-defense at close range and should be at the top of your list if you don’t have one. However, shotguns have also been used successfully for self-defense for a number of years and have a few advantages over handguns.
While handguns are obviously lighter, take up less space, and are easier to handle, shotguns are more effective at engaging multiple targets in a shorter amount of time due to the spread they produce when the shot pellets leave the chamber. Additionally, shotguns are generally more powerful than handguns and are therefore capable of inflicting more damage. For these reasons alone, a shotgun is a good weapon to have for protection in situations such as civil unrest.
Besides their power and ability to engage multiple targets, shotguns have other advantages: Continue reading
While it is easy and often enjoyable to distract oneself with daily drudgery such as who will bomb whom (if not so enjoyable for those on the receiving end of said bombs), the key word in the sentence is just one: “distract” and as Kyle Bass pointed out correctly, the best, and most “economy-boosting” of all distractions ends up with the proverbial red button being pushed. Sadly, with an economy which Boston University’s Larry Kotlikoff defines as “arguably in worst fiscal shape than any other developed country“, there is much to be distrated by and is why we correctly predicted in July that the Syrian false flag event is only weeks or months away (turned out to be precisely one month). So for those who have no desire to prove the axiom that ignorance is bliss, or to have their heads stuck in the sand, here is a must read interview between Goldman’s Hugo Scott-Gall and the iconoclast economist who, in a vast minority, calls it like it is.
The highlights:

Pompous and defiant, Morse and Giron got schooled by the ones they were supposed to represent.
“Coloradans … sent a clear message that politicians who blatantly ignore their constituents will be held accountable,” said Dustin Zvonek, state director of Americans for Prosperity. “Perhaps this will serve as a lesson that one-party rule in Denver doesn’t give the majority license to take things to extremes or run roughshod over the values and rights of Coloradans who just happen, for the moment, to be in the minority.”
“Tonight is a victory for the people of the state of Colorado, who have been subject to the overreach of a Democrat agenda on guns, taxes and accountability to the people,” said Tim Knight, Founder of the Basic Freedom Defense Fund and the “father” of the recalls. “Since day one, they said it couldn’t be done. Tonight, this is a victory for the people of Colorado, and we share this victory with them.”

The Muslim Brotherhood and its supporters have began forcing the roughly 15,000 Christian Copts of Dalga village in Egypt to pay a jizya tax as indicated in Koran 9:29, author and translator Raymond Ibrahim reported on Sunday.
Jizya is the money, or tribute, “that conquered non-Muslims historically had to pay to their Islamic overlords ‘with willing submission and while feeling themselves subdued’ to safeguard their existence,” Mr. Ibrahim explained.

“Engage people with what they expect; it is what they are able to discern and confirms their projections. It settles them into predictable patterns of response, occupying their minds while you wait for the extraordinary moment — that which they cannot anticipate.”–Sun Tzu, The Art of War
The definition of what makes an “enemy” may vary from person to person. But I would say that, generally, an enemy is one who has an active ability to do irreparable harm to you or your essential values. He is motivated by destruction, the destruction of all that you hold dear. He is capable and unrelenting. He is a legitimate threat. He will not compromise. He will not waver. He will do anything to wound you. He will not stop. He is possessed.
Americans have spent the better part of a century being told who their enemies are with very little explanation or substantiation. We have blindly rallied around our patriotic prerogative without knowing the root cause of the conflict or the nature of the target we are told to annihilate. We have been suckered into war after war, conjured by international interests in order to lure us into accepting greater centralization and concentrated globalism. As a culture, I’m sorry to say, we have been used. We are a tool of unmitigated doom. We are the loaded gun in the hand of the devil.
This paradigm has done irreparable harm to our standing in the eyes of the peoples of the world. But until recently, it has done very little harm to us as a society. We have allowed ourselves to be used like a bloody club, but we have not yet felt the true pain or the true cost. We have been insulated from consequence. However, this comfortable situation is quickly coming to an end.

Although the media is not covering the “2 million bikers to Washington, D.C”, that does not mean that this is not an important event. Let us pray that this may become an historic day for Americans to assert our unwavering love of Liberty and our commitment to fight tyranny.
