Gold: Then and Now

I wonder where this gold is now because it is not in J.P. Morgan’s vault.

Gold Game Changer – J.P. Morgan Accepts Bullion as Money

J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. announced on February 7, 2011 that it will accept physical gold as collateral for investors that want to make short-term borrowings of cash or securities.

Presenting gold to satisfy demands for performance bond collateral has been allowed on the London CME in a limited way since October 2009. As of November 22, 2010, the Intercontinental Exchange Inc. (ICE) has accepted gold bullion as collateral on all credit default swaps and energy transactions.

I don’t recall the G-20 declaring gold a new currency. Yet JPMorgan Chase and a couple of financial market exchanges have effectively declared that gold is an alternative currency.

In other words, gold is money.

Not Surprising and Indicative of the End Game

What is a bank supposed to do after manipulating the commodities’ markets? When the bill comes due, they can try to sell this portion of their business or find a strategic partner. Which strategic partner would that be? I can only think of one partner in crime named Ben Bernanke? Which means that once again, the people will pay for this “bail-out”. Or is this a variation of the “bail-in”? I am losing track of the different ways the government, banks and Federal Reserve at redistributing our wealth. But then our “wealth” transfer is only a means of control.

See which NC Republicans voted to gut E-Verify and choose illegals over citizens

H.786 came up for a vote in the NC Senate in the dark of night and they voted just like the NC House to gut E-Verify which was to take full effect this month.

E-Verify was to protect new jobs for unemployed citizens NOT illegal immigrants.

Is this how the Republicans plan to reduce unemployment, as our State has the fifth worst unemployment rate in the nation?

Go to this weblink to see which NC House Republicans voted for H.786 to gut E-Verify: (Ayes voted to gut and Noes voted to protect jobs for citizens)

Fox News Covers Car Hacking Conspiracy

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfwO8BIpkDs

From YouTube:

Fox News covers car hacking but instead of mentioning the NSA using the technique to murder Michael Hastings, they say “Al Qaeda” may do it to Americans on the freeway.

NSA Says It Can’t Search Its Own Emails

The NSA is a “supercomputing powerhouse” with machines so powerful their speed is measured in thousands of trillions of operations per second. The agency turns its giant machine brains to the task of sifting through unimaginably large troves of data its surveillance programs capture.

But ask the NSA, as part of a freedom of information request, to do a seemingly simple search of its own employees’ email? The agency says it doesn’t have the technology.

“There’s no central method to search an email at this time with the way our records are set up, unfortunately,” NSA Freedom of Information Act officer Cindy Blacker told me last week.

The system is “a little antiquated and archaic,” she added.

I filed a request last week for emails between NSA employees and employees of the National Geographic Channel over a specific time period. The TV station had aired a friendly documentary on the NSA and I want to better understand the agency’s public-relations efforts.

A few days after filing the request, Blacker called, asking me to narrow my request since the FOIA office can search emails only “person by person,” rather than in bulk. The NSA has more than 30,000 employees.

I reached out to the NSA press office seeking more information but got no response.

Here’s what happens when a central bank goes bust

Dominoes

by Simon Black

Over the past several decades, people around the world have become so brainwashed that few people really give much thought anymore to the safety of their currency.

It’s not something people really understand… there’s apparently some Wizard of Oz type figure at the top of the hill pulling all the levers of the monetary system. And we just trust them to be good guys.

This is partially true. Today’s financial system is dominated by central bankers who have been awarded nearly dictatorial control of global money supply.

In allowing them to set interest rates, they are able to control the ‘price’ of money, thus controlling the price of… everything.

This power rests primarily in the hands of four men who control roughly 75% of the entire world money supply:

  • Zhou Xiaochuan, People’s Bank of China
  • Mario Draghi, European Central Bank
  • Haruhiko Kuroda, Bank of Japan
  • Ben Bernanke, US Federal Reserve

Voting ID Legislation Is Now In Gov. Pat’s Hands

As lawmakers rushed to adjourn for the summer, lawmakers gave final approval Thursday to drastic changes in how voting will be conducted in future elections in North Carolina.

After more than two-and-a-half hours of debate, the House voted 73-41 on party lines late Thursday to agree with dozens of changes made by Senate Republicans to a bill that originally simply required voters to show photo identification at the polls. It was approved by the Senate earlier Thursday, 33-14, also on party lines.

House Bill 589 sparked impassioned, emotional debate in both chambers.

In the House, the only Republican to speak on the measure was Rep. David Lewis of Harnett County, who has been his chamber’s lead drafter for elections legislation. Responding to the assertion that people were scared about the new regulations, Lewis said that was because they had been misled.

“They’ve been told that this bill would somehow deny them the right to vote,” Lewis said. “They’ve been told that (the voter ID requirement) is a poll tax, when even the Supreme Court has told us that it is not.”

Chris Christie: Rand Paul ‘dangerous’

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is ripping libertarians – including Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.). – for challenging government surveillance programs and failing to understand the dangers of terrorism.

“This strain of libertarianism that’s going through parties right now and making big headlines I think is a very dangerous thought,” the New Jersey governor said on Thursday at a Republican governors forum in Aspen, Colo. “You can name any number of people and (Paul is) one of them.”

Christie also praised President Barack Obama and George W. Bush’s policies used to fight terrorism.

Obama celebrates Ramadan: ‘Islam has contributed to the character’ of US

So are American patriots

President Obama late Thursday celebrated Ramadan with a traditional dinner in the State Dining Room, saying that throughout the nation’s history, “Islam has contributed to the character of our country.”

In remarks before the Iftar dinner, eaten by Muslims after sunset to end the day of fasting, Obama quoted from the Koran, according to a White House pool report. “As the Koran teaches, whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see its results.”

“Muslim Americans and their good works have helped to build our nation, and we’ve seen the results,” he added.

Obama, who has hosted five Iftar dinners, focused on entrepreneurship during much of his speech.

“Every day, Muslim Americans are helping to shape the way that we think and the way that we work and the way that we do business,” he said. “And that’s the spirit that we celebrate tonight — the dreamers, the creators whose ideas are pioneering new industries, creating new jobs and unleashing new opportunities for all of us.”

From YouTube:

Once again, MRCTV’s Dan Joseph went to a college campus and asked students to sign a petition. This time the goal was to get people to show their support for legalizing 4th trimester abortion.

For those of you who failed biology, babies are born at the END of the 3rd trimester.
