Rep. Frank Wolf to Holder: Probe ‘rat’s nest’ in DOJ civil rights shop

Rep. Frank Wolf (R-Va.) on Monday called for an outside independent panel to investigate the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division.

Wolf, in a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder, said a recent inspector general report raised numerous troubling instances of internal mismanagement that he said indicate the division “has become a rat’s nest of unacceptable and unprofessional actions.”

“One cannot read the report without concluding that the division has suffered systemic mismanagement,” said Wolf in his letter sent Monday. “It has become a rat’s nest of unacceptable and unprofessional actions, and even outright threats against career attorneys and systemic mismanagement.”

The DOJ’s inspector general found numerous examples of harassment in the department’s voting rights division, but determined it did not prioritize cases in a partisan manner under President Obama or former President George W. Bush.

CYPRUS BANKS TO REMAIN CLOSED THROUGH MARCH 27: CENTRAL BANK

We thought it useful to consider Cyprus in relation to the longest bank closures in history. Cyprus has now shutdown its banking system longer than Argentina, Ecuador, and Uruguay and as far as President Anastasiades comments that capital controls are temporary – we can only hope for the depositors sake – that it’s not as temporary as Argentina’s 120 month ‘restrictions’ starting in 2001.

This Time *IS* Different

Europeans are used to the hypocrisy, the absence of principles, and the systematic theft they see in their banking and government sectors – they have been seeing these things for decades. The average European worker, however, figures that it doesn’t impact him much because he doesn’t own stocks or bonds, and his pension is guaranteed by the government…so there has always been an assumed “floor” to how bad things could get for the working class.  Up until now, this assumed ‘floor’ on how bad things could get has keep the typical wage-earner disinterested, or at least has kept his interest to a minimum, and with very short term recall.

This time is different for said average European wage-earner, because the pittance he has in the bank is now at risk, at least in his mind… his dreams of a new car, or a summer holiday, even his monthly expenses are now at risk in his mind, in a way they never have been before – the floor has fallen away, and he realizes just how exposed he is to the malfeasance of his bank, and his government.  Suddenly, it is all *very* interesting, and it will now remain that way.  FEAR is a powerful thing, and while the normalcy bias will neutralize a certain amount of fear in the average person, when that bias breaks, the full force of mass fear and distrust will be seen.  This is the “sea change” which has come to pass in Europe in the last week, and the crest of this wave of fear and distrust has yet to be seen.

Bitcoins, Gold and Silver, and just plain cash-on-hand are suddenly very hot topics to the majority of working-class Europeans, and I doubt that all the propaganda TPTB can sling for the next year will put the genie of FEAR back in the bottle.

Obama on a Mission to Revive Gun Control

President Barack Obama is ready to hit the road on a new campaign-style public relations trip, hoping to breathe new life into the push for stronger gun control laws.

“We’ve made progress over the last three months, but we’re not there yet,” he said. “And in the weeks ahead, I hope Members of Congress will join me in finishing the job – for our communities and, most importantly, for our kids.”

Al Qaeda brigade captures Syrian-Israeli-Jordanian border junction

Al Qaeda-affiliated Nusra fighters on Golan

Al Qaeda-affiliated Nusra fighters on Golan

The highly strategic intersection of the Syrian, Israeli and Jordan borders, just east of the Golan, was captured by the Al Musanna Brigade of al Qaeda’s Syrian arm, Jabhat al-Nusra on Passover Eve, Monday, March 25, DEBKAfile’s exclusive sources report.

This put the jihadists directly opposite 14 Israeli southern Golan villages and at a distance of 5-6 kilometers from one of Israel’s earliest kibbutzim, Ein Gev, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee.

DEBKAfile’s military sources report that this sensitive area fell to al Qaeda in a fierce battle waged with the Syrian army’s 5th Division in the village of Sham Al-Jawla. Control of this village has opened the way for the jihadists to reach the Syrian Golan sector from the south and for direct access to the Syrian-Israeli-Jordanian borders.

On a second front, al Qaeda fighters have seized control of Wadi ar-Ruqqad, a 70-kilometer long waterway which forms the Golan’s eastern boundary.

This wadi rises at a point north of Quneitra on the Syrian side of the Golan, flows south through a shallow gulch to become a waterfall which drops south west into a 20-kilometer basalt tunnel of which 6 kilometers run through Israeli territory. Ar Ruqqad waters then flow into the Yarmuk River up to the point where the Syrian, Israeli and Jordanian borders connect.

It is not the first time that the jihadists fighting with Syrian rebels have occupied positions abutting on Israeli soil, but this time they have gained control of one of its precious sources of water.

deadly-research

The un-named research facility is the US Army’s advanced research facility at Ft. Sam Houston… which begs the question, “If the US disavows all use of biological weapons, then why are they developing weaponized strains of hemorrhagic fever and other deadly viruses?”

And do you remember several years ago when it was finally admitted that the weaponized Anthrax which mysteriously appeared in post offices and other locations throughout the US turned out to have been “lost” from a similar US Bio-Weapons research facility?

I have to wonder where this hemorrhagic fever will ‘turn up’ in the coming months?

Whose State Constitution?

The North Carolina State Constitution is illegal. I know it, the state government knows it and the NAACP knows it. Tyranny wrapped in democracy has taken away our Liberty.

Calling Supporters of NC Licenses for ILLEGAL ALIENS to Assist Cochise County, AZ as Ranch Patrol Volunteers

As many of the North Carolina Sheriffs Association and “some” NC House Reps. support licensing ALL ILLEGAL ALIENS in North Carolina, perhaps they should suit up and head down to Cochise County, Arizona and volunteer some of their time defending the border with local citizens.

    In the words of Sheriff Dannels, Cochise County (elected after Sheriff Dever’s death.) “THEY ARE GETTING HAMMERED” in the non-populated areas along our border – ranch lands, federal lands, Indian reservations  and, “it’s a BIG FIB as to our border being secure as past Gov. of AZ, Ms. Janet states.”   No kidding

If Cyprus Is Fixed, Why Are the Banks Still Closed?

Cyprus: That’s The Way To Do It

Merkel is playing with fire: Russia controls Western Europe’s energy

Cyprus is fixed. Again. Like Greece, Italy, Portugal, Ireland, Spain and New Zealand. I wondered over the weekend how the Cypriot government would pass any deal brokered to solve their bankruptcy. Now we know:

German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble said Cypriot lawmakers would not need to vote on the new scheme, since they had already enacted a law on procedures for bank resolution.

So Laiki Bank is dissolved, the people will lose some money and the Russians who parked their money offshore will bear the brunt of the ECB (Merkel) theft. Everyone wins? Like every other insolvent Western nation, this situation is far from over.

So when will the banks reopen?

IRAN CONFIRMS SECRET NUCLEAR ‘QUDS’ SITE

130324qudsirannuclearsitezIran has inadvertently confirmed WND’s report that the Islamic regime is working on nuclear weapons at a secret facility known as “Quds,” a name synonymous with the Arabic word for “Jerusalem.”

WND report on March 20 and a follow-up in the Washington Times the next day revealed that Iranian scientists are trying to perfect nuclear warheads at the underground site, which is unknown to the West. The coordinates to this vast site and detailed information about the regime’s secret operation were provided to WND by a high-ranking Iranian intelligence officer assigned to the Ministry of Defense.

Satellite images reveal the existence of the secret Quds site, indicating Iran, with North Korean help, clearly crossed the red line and is in the final stage of arming its missiles with nuclear warheads; and Iran not only has made great progress in enriching uranium to weapons grade, but also has succeeded in converting the highly enriched uranium to metal, a key step in making nuclear warheads.

Ireland is Next…

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLVp-592gA8

Ireland, after several years as a financially embattled nation, may be next to succumb to the “Wealth Levy” which has now been proposed in Cyprus, New Zealand, Spain, and Italy.

As a government, Ireland has been struggling with paying it’s national debts for the past 5 years, and the political gyrations have been substantial, as Irish law was structured in order to make the nation’s banking sector attractive to international financial interests.  While reporting of the continuing difficulties in Ireland has been very limited, the fact is that the debt cauldron there has remained near the boiling point, and may soon be brought back to the fore as a result of the profound events in Cyprus.

Keep your eye on Ireland, as the next play of the banking cabal may well be manifest in the Emerald isle.

Russia: Remove All Deposits from EU Institutions

bank-run(NewsBote.de)  24-March-2013 — Russian diplomats reported that the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a memo to all embassies, and  warned [Russians] to leave no more money in Western banks. Apparently, the Kremlin is afraid of the “greatest robbery of private property in Russia’s recent history.”

Cyprus is used as a current example of this theft, considering the now well known threat of compulsory taxes upon savings. So far, the advisory, sent on authority of the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, has been well received. The Prime Minister also sharply criticized the EU’s behavior in the current bailout negotiations with Cyprus.  Medvedev believes that  “the EU has made every possible error which could be made”, however, “property rights must be respected”, said Medvedev.
~~~~~
Meanwhile, German citizens are outraged with the politicians of their Bundesrepublik, and accusing Angela Merkel of “shaking money out of her sleeves to Greece, Spain, and every other country she wants to play in.”  Many Germans in the popular opinion feel that they “work for 6 months out of the year to fill the federal coffers, yet still have no say in what is done with their money, not even about the future of their democracy.”
Similar sentiments in Italy, Spain, and other “peripheral” EU nations are gaining in strength, and this rising tide of anger towards the EU is feeding a return to belligerent nationalism from Spain to Russia – the precursory substance of wars and destruction.
WE HAVE BEEN WARNED
The Constitution Is Irrelevant Because Our Framers Could Not Envision Today’s World
See more comments on Tea Party Nation.
The government and people responsible for enslaving our children in debt have many common talking points. One of the most prevalent is the attack on our Constitution and its relevancy today since our framers could not envision the problems that the nation would have to face 226 years in the future. Let’s look at some of our framers’ and one early president’s views on debt and banks:
“Think what you do when you run in debt; you give to another power over your liberty.”
Benjamin Franklin
“I, however, place economy among the first and most important republican virtues, and public debt as the greatest of the dangers to be feared.”
Thomas Jefferson
“Some of the evils which arise from this system of paper press with peculiar hardship upon the class of society least able to bear it. A portion of this currency frequently becomes depreciated or worthless, and all of it is easily counterfeited in such a manner as to require peculiar skill and much experience to distinguish the counterfeit from the genuine note. These frauds are most generally perpetrated in the smaller notes, which are used in the daily transactions of ordinary business, and the losses occasioned by them are commonly thrown upon the laboring classes of society, whose situation and pursuits put it out of their power to guard themselves from these impositions, and whose daily wages are necessary for their subsistence.”
Andrew Jackson
Slavery or involuntary servitude is the result of either subjugation by conquest or succumbing to the bondage of debt.
5000 Year Leap
Our founding fathers were giving us the benefit of their wisdom. Our current “leaders” are giving themselves the benefit of our labor. This will not end well.
