America’s Deadliest And Poorest City Set To Disband Its Entire Police Force Over Budget Crisis

While the stock market in the US continues to surge (if not so much in China where the composite is back to 2009 lows) as the relentless liquidity tsunami makes its way into stocks, and other Fed frontrunning instrumentsand only there, reality for everyone else refuses to wait. Last week we saw reality striking in Greece, where a section of Athens literally shut down after it ran out of all cash. Today, reality comes to the US, and specifically its poorest city, Camden, which is a twofer, doubling down also as America’s deadliest city. It turns out Camden is about to become even deadliest-er, as its police force is set to be disbanded following a budget crisis in this effectively insolvent city.

AP reports:

This city, long among the nation’s poorest and most crime-ridden, is on the verge of dismantling its police department and starting anew with a force run by the county government.

City officials are making the move to increase the number of officers while keeping the cost the same by averting rules negotiated with a union that city officials have seen as unwilling to compromise.

Unless the union – which is skeptical of the stated motivations for the change – reaches a deal with the county, no more than 49 per cent of the city’s current officers could join the new force and those that do will et pay cuts.

John Wilson, a 57-year-old unemployed baker who’s lived in the city his whole life, thinks it’s worth a try.

‘The police in Camden clearly haven’t been doing their job,’ he said last week as he walked to his home in the Parkside neighborhood, which has seen six homicides since the start of 2011.

‘Any change has to be better. It can’t get worse now.’

Oh yes it can. Here’s why:

Obama snubs Netanyahu on Iran: My decisions – only what’s right for America

Obama puts the lid on Iran cooperation with Israel

Obama puts the lid on Iran cooperation with Israel

US President Barack Obama said Sunday night, Sept. 23 on CBS “60 Minutes” that he understands and agrees with Netanyahu’s insistence that Iran not be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons as this would threaten both countries, the world in general and kick off an arms race. But he then added: “When it comes to our national security decisions – any pressure that I feel is simply to do what’s right for the American people. And I am going to block out – any noise that’s out there.”

Obama went on to say: “Now I feel an obligation – not pressure but obligation – to make sure that we’re in close consultation with the Israelis on these issues because it affects them deeply.”
So, consultation? yes; cooperation? forget it. His comments removed the last hopes Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak may have entertained of cooperation with the US for curtailing Iran’s nuclear designs by military force.

The US president was crystal clear: By saying he will be ruled solely by American security interests, he showed them that they too were being left to be guided by Israel’s security interests. So forget about red lines for America, he was telling Netanyahu.

His blunt verging-on-contemptuous dismissal of Israel’s concerns as “noise out there” was not much different from the way Iran’s leaders referred to the Jewish state.

Their threats against Israel have different dimensions: On the one hand, they say that if Israel is even thinking of attacking Iran, it will be destroyed in a preemptive attack. On the other, Israel has neither the military capability nor the courage to strike Iran.

Asked on CNN Sunday whether he feared a war with Israel was imminent, Iran’s president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said: “The Zionists are very much, very adventuresome… They seek to fabricate new opportunities for themselves and their adventurous behaviors.”

SILVER SMASHED TO $33.50 AS 50% OF US ANNUAL SILVER PRODUCTION DUMPED ON MARKET IN 5 MINUTES

From Silver Doctors:

Apparently Blythe’s monkey’s are burning the Sunday midnight oil in order to prevent silver clearing $36 and triggering JPM’s rumored silver derivative losses.

A miniature replica of the May 2nd, 2011 drive by shooting was just completed, as silver was knocked down the proverbial mine-shaft moments ago, dropping nearly a dollar in nano-seconds on Monday’s Asian open.

Volume data indicates that 3,297 contracts, or 16.5 million paper ounces of silver were dumped on the market in a mere 5 minutes between 9:00 and 9:05pm EST.

In other words, approximately 1/2 of the entire US annual silver production was dumped on the market by the cartel in a 5 minute period on a Sunday night.

The Second Realm – Book on Strategy

Tired of trying to drag your neighbors towards Liberty ?

Achieve it for yourself, despite the inertia of society:

A strategy for the implementation of liberty must be built on three ideas:

1. It is necessary to achieve individual liberty in all aspects – economical, personal, civil – with only a very small subset of the total population. Liberty should be assumed to be a minority position that is actively opposed by some and passively ignored by most. (If ever it becomes more, weʼll have no trouble adapting.)

2. All notions of the homogeneity of society, change of mainstream opinion and universal integrity of a population must be abandoned.

3. We must form a culture and society of liberty, or at least take first steps towards this goal and nourish attempts to accomplish a cultural secession from the mainstream society that allows us to form and protect institutions of social interaction and relationships.

Welcome to the Free Lakota Bank

The Free Lakota Bank is the world’s only non-reserve, non-fractional bank that issues, accepts for deposit, and circulates REAL money: .999 fine silver. All of our demand deposits are liquid, meaning they can be withdrawn at any time in minted rounds.

In 2008, the Free Lakota Bank became the first bank to offer what has now come to be known as Commodity Banking. In this new banking system, value is stored in easy to monetize commodities as opposed to government-issued, controlled, inflated and deflated fiat currencies.

“Money is the barometer of a society’s virtue. When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion…when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing…when you see your laws don’t protect you against them, but protect them against you…when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice…you may know that your society is doomed.”
Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged

At the Free Lakota Bank, we issue, circulate and accept for deposit only AOCS Approved Silver currencies and other .999 fine silver bullion. Silver is a store of value, an equivalent of wealth produced. Paper is a mortgage on wealth that does not exist, backed by a gun aimed at those who are expected to produce it. Since we deal only in what we consider to be real money, we do not participate in any fractional reserve looting schemes.

Introductions

I’ve been asked to be a contributing blogger for III ARMS. I’m going to take this time to introduce myself.  First, I’m just about as average as anyone can be.  I’m probably even average at being average.  I’m not athletic, I’m not beautiful, I’m not wealthy.  Like many of you I have a family, go to work, come home, and then do it again the next day.

I am the least experienced with firearms within this group.

The reason I’m telling you this is because not everyone is at the same level in their abilities and knowledge with firearms.  III ARMS isn’t just for avid gun nutters.  It is for everyone and anyone who has the desire to be able to protect themselves and their property.  It is for average Americans who have the courage to take the responsibility of taking control of their own lives.

I was born and raised in the western part of the United States. People owning and using guns was as common as breathing.  Even though I lived in a culture where guns were no more out of the ordinary than any other everyday tool, I was never taught how to use a firearm.  The only thing that was drilled into my head was “Do Not Touch the Gun.”  Period.  Perhaps it was the era I was born and raised in, perhaps it was because I was a girl, maybe both.  As far as I’m concerned now, it’s irrelevant because I am determined to to be able to come to a point in time where I will be able to pick up any firearm and use it with confidence.

Essence of the III Citadel

The III Citadel.  What is it about the name, the concept of a Patriot community that has made so many of our hearts soar with hope?   I’m sure each of us has a picture in our minds that depicts our expectations of how this community will evolve.  I want you to consider, for a moment at least,  putting those expectations aside.  I know the physical properties that we’ve discussed are exciting, daring, and just plain fun to plan, but there is more to the III Citadel project than mere architecture.

I am talking about the very Soul and Heart of this project.  The concepts of Liberty and Loyalty.

About Time A Republican Stood Up!

From YouTube:

Published on Sep 23, 2012 by mittromney

The Washington Post’s Bob Woodward reported that during negotiations on the stimulus, President Obama called the leaders of the Democratic Party: Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senator Harry Reid. As he spoke, Speaker Pelosi muted the phone and went on with the meeting. If he cannot lead his own party, how can he lead America?

Moral High Ground in killing

From American Mercenary:

Claiming moral high ground when you are in the business of killing people seems a dubious exercise in ethics at best.  You can quote me on that.  But there is a serious bit of ethics that you need to work out for yourself, if you want to be able to live with yourself at the end of the day.  Using lethal force is always an ethical decision, and having a proper ethical framework to deal with the aftermath is something you need to put into place.

My bottom line, if you justify your killing as being “for the greater good” you need to shoot yourself next.  Fighting for the “greater good” is the justification of tyrants both great and petty.

When you need to justify your actions remember what you are fighting for, which is your own individual liberty and freedom.  You don’t need to justify yourself beyond that.  Killing those who would oppress you, or aid in your oppression, is a simple act of self defense.  And there is no justification needed for protecting yourself.  The people who lie to themselves and ascribe grand notions to the justification of their actions usually end up needing chemical support (alcohol, drugs) to keep their brain from shouting the truth back at them and destroying their self worth.

Hamas signs binding military commitment to Iran-led war on Israel

Sinai terrorists attack Israel

Sinai terrorists attack Israel

Hamas leader Mahmoud A-Zahar and deputy commander of its military arm, Marwan Issa, spent the second week of September in Beirut and Tehran finalizing and signing protocols covering a binding commitment by the radical Hamas rulers of the Gaza Strip to join Iran, Syria and Hizballah in a war on Israel, DEBKAfile’s exclusive military sources disclose.

The protocols set out in detail the circumstances, procedures and terms governing Hamas’s participation in a conflict, whether it arises from an Israeli attack on Iran’s nuclear program or the involvement of Iran’s allies, Syria and Hizballah, in comprehensive or partial hostilities against Israel. Hamas agreed to obey any orders to attack the Jewish state coming from Tehran, Damascus or Beirut.

Tehran also required A-Zahar and Issa to attach their signatures to copies of the military understandings Iranian National Security Director Saeed Jalili concluded with Bashar Assad during his visit to Damascus on Aug. 7. Those understandings, DEBKAfile reports, touched off the massive Iranian airlift currently carrying hundreds of military personnel and weapons day by day to the embattled Syrian regime.

Hamas’s signature provided a booster shot of 22,000 trained fighters including reservists for the battle array of elite Iranian al Qods Brigades units building up in Syria and Lebanon and taking up positions along Israel’s borders.
This buildup prompted the large-scale snap military exercise Israel staged on the Golan Wednesday, Sept. 19. Most of the forces stayed on after the exercise was over and spread out along the Syrian and Lebanese borders.

The directives Hamas leaders received in Tehran after their meetings with top officials were detailed and precise. They were handed down in person by Defense Minister Ahmed Wahidi, Revolutionary Guards Chief Gen. Ali Jafari, the Al Qods Brigades commander, Qassem Soleimani, and a select group of Iranian intelligence experts on the Israel.

Those orders were presented in the language of commands and brooked no argument. Tehran had two goals:

10 MORE TUNGSTEN-FILLED GOLD BARS DISCOVERED IN MANHATTAN

In the aftermath of Wednesday’s report of a tungsten filled 10 oz PAMP gold bar discovered in Manhattan, it appears we now have an epidemic on our hands, as the NY Post has just reported that a total of at least 10 tungsten filled gold bars have now been discovered in Manhattan.

The NY Post reports:

The Post has learned as many as 10 fake gold bars — made up mostly of relatively worthless tungsten — were sold recently to unsuspecting dealers in Manhattan’s Midtown Diamond District.

The price of gold has risen more than 600 percent since January 2000, while the S&P 500 index is down 0.6 percent over the same period.

The 10-oz. gold bars are hugely popular with Main Street investors, and it is not known how many of the fake gold bars were sold to dealers — or if any fake bars were purchased by the public.

Ibrahim Fadl, the dealer who originally discovered the tungsten filled gold bars apparently purchased 4 tainted bars:

One gold dealer discovered that four of the 3-inch-by-1-inch gold bars he bought — worth about $72,000 retail — were counterfeit.

“It has the entire street on edge,” said Ibrahim Fadl, 62, who has been the owner of Express Metal Refining, a Midtown gold-refinery business, for the last 11 years. “I and the others on the street work off of trust; now that trust is strained.”

Leaks, Facebook and Twitter Are Now Used for Briefings

See additional comments on Tea Party Nation.

The events of the past two weeks have shown the American public a clearer picture of the administration’s foreign policy:

The president is aligned with the Muslim governments in the Middle East in his actions and in his Obama’s alleged message to Israeli PM Netanyahu:

“You have just as much blood on your hands as they do.  They got a right to exist as well.  Everybody does.  And I don’t want this thing…this back and forth…you and them…I don’t want this turning into an election issue for me, right?  I can’t be telling those people how to treat your country any more than you want me telling you how to treat them, right?  You see where I’m at in this?

Don’t you turn this into something that might take away Jewish votes for me.  That’s what you got going here – I know what you’re up to.  Don’t do it.  This thing…Iran…don’t try…don’t  hurt me politically with it.  You need us.  We don’t need you.”

Hillary has apologized to the Muslim world concerning the badly mad video of the “prophet”. Continue reading

Obama Chose His Side – T.L. Davis

I guess it depends on which religion is being denigrated. There is no religion which has endured more denigration than Christianity, or more support than Islam from the Obama Administration. In an effort to ease the hurt feelings of Muslims over the anti-Islam video, President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton pointed out clearly that they were not associated with the video, but supported freedom of religion.

At this story from Al Jazeera, the supposed defenders of freedom make these remarks in an ad running on Pakistani television.

From Barack Obama: “Since our founding, the United States has been a nation that respects all faiths. We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others.”

And, from Hillary Clinton:  “Let me state very clearly, the United States has absolutely nothing to do with this video. We absolutely reject its contents. America’s commitment to religious tolerance goes back to the very beginning of our nation.”

Missing from the remarks is the absolute defense of freedom of speech, of the necessity of the United States to support the freedom of expression no matter what the subject matter.
