The Boisterous Sea of Liberty

Posted 9 May 2012 by Kerodin

Some folks are uncomfortable with the plan of the American Liberty Congress to draft a train of abuses, to include a cease and desist order, to incorporate a demand that our Political Class begin immediately abiding the letter and spirit of the Constitution, especially since we intend to hand-deliver this signed scroll on the steps of the US Capitol while wearing empty holsters to convey the serious nature of our sincerity.

I know most of you agree with me that this plan is not too confrontational. Personally, I find that it strikes a serious level of political symbolism that will disrupt the political talking points just 72 hours from election day. I already have assurances from people I have known for quite a while and trust that we will have print and video MSM on site, and we will be received by at least one official Staffer from a Congressional office.

The Price of Chinese Debt

The Federal Reserve announced that three major Chinese banks, including ICBC, have won approval to enter the US banking market. (AFP Photo/Frederic J. Brown)For those who are wondering how the United States was going to pay back our large debt to the Chinese, here is the second step. It appears that the first step to establish a 60,000 acre free trade zone in Boise, Idaho will not proceed.

Farage: We face the prospect of mass civil unrest, even revolution

Nigel Farage shows why Germany has kept the United Kingdom out of their plans for a revised European Union. On the heels of Putin, revolution will be just another means to transform Socialism into Communism.

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJ6_Ey_MJV4

From Zerohedge.com:

In one of his most passionate speeches (which says a lot), UKIP’s Nigel Farage, on the May 9th celebration of the Euro, tells his European Parliament colleagues of his grave concern at therecent elections – which are very reminiscent of the elections in Germany in 1932. He warns that Europe faces the very real prospect of mass civil unrest and even revolution as the Euro project itself could even be the cause of (in it perfect irony as the initial solution to) a rebirth of national socialism in Europe. Farage pulls no punches but in three minutes provides a clear picture of just how concerned anyone who is not merely a head-in-the-sand status-quo muddle-through’er should be with regards Europe: “It is a European union of economic failure, of mass unemployment, and of low growth”

Congressional Representative Demands Resignation of TSA Administrator

Napolitano observes as Pistole give speech at Regan National Airport(Daily Caller)  Georgia Republican Rep. Paul Broun, M.D. demanded the resignation of Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Administrator John Pistole Wednesday for “flagrant violations of [Americans’] civil rights occurring at airports nationwide.”

Broun’s demand comes in the wake of news that TSA has allowed airports, specifically Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson airport, to hire screeners without full background checks.

Americans can no longer tolerate the flagrant violations of their civil rights  which are occurring at airports nationwide in the name of ‘security,’” Broun  said. “More importantly, the corruption and continued lack of security among  TSA’s own personnel puts our country at extreme risk of another terrorist  attack. The time has come for serious action to be taken. As such, I request  your immediate resignation from the position of TSA Administrator. The safety of  our country’s travelers requires drastic change, and the time for that change is  now.”

My Election Day Promise – Fraud and Deceit Shall Not Win

(American Thinker)  Voter registration fraud, as practiced by ACORN, is a swamping method that utilizes the enabling legislation of the National Voter Registration Act of 1993. The  NVRA was written by Frances Fox Piven and Richard Cloward, and was the end point  of a decade of field work they conducted through the organization they founded for the task: The Human Service Employees Registration and Voter Education Fund (Human SERVE).

Cloward,  Piven, ACORN and other leftist strategists are always looking for ways to  systematize their manufactured crisis strategies, preferably making government foot the  bill.

With  the first Cloward Piven Strategy it was a guaranteed national income. They know  as well as we do that such a policy is unsustainable, but if codified in law,  would guarantee that government would eventually collapse of its own weight.  They could just sit back and watch.

With  the second Crisis strategy, it was low-cost housing, codified in the 1977  Community Reinvestment Act, and strengthened by FIRREA and the 1992 GSE Act. The GSE Act was written covertly by ACORN. Between the two of them, the CRA and GSE laws  facilitated the subprime mortgage meltdown at the heart of our financial crisis.  Total CRA loans have exceeded $6 trillion. And Obama and the Democrats  are still pushing them!

Is North Carolina Foreshadowing a Rejection of Obama in the Election?

North Carolina’s Democrat primary voters sent a strong signal to the Obama reelection campaign yesterday. Twenty percent of the voters rejected the president and voted “no preference”.  North Carolina is a large state and geographic boundaries exist that divide the state. Western North Carolina (WNC) and Eastern North Carolina (East of I-95) form distinct regions that Raleigh generally ignores. How did they vote? Cherokee County (WNC) voted 37% against the president. New Hanover County (Wilmington) voted 14% “no preference”. This just verifies the self determination of WNC.

Even 20% averaged across the state is significant since many of these Democrat voters will vote Republican in the election. The fat lady is still singing so it will be an interesting ride to November.

U.N. nuclear expert killed in Iran crash

TEHRAN, May 8 (UPI) — An expert with the United Nations’ nuclear watchdog was killed and another was injured in a car accident in central Iran Tuesday, authorities said.

The car skidded and overturned near the Khandab nuclear complex in the central Markazi province about noon, and Ok-Seok Seo, an International Atomic Energy Agency expert from South Korea, died of severe injuries, the semi-official Fars News Agency reported.

The second IAEA expert, who was not identified, suffered unspecified injuries.

DEBKAfile reported no information about the experts’ mission in Iran was provided by the Iranian government or IAEA headquarters in Vienna.

Syria Moving Scuds to Israel, Turkey Borders

Jordanian news site says western spy satellites show hundreds of Scud launchers moving south and north.

Jordanian news site Ahbar Baladnareports that western spy satellites have recently spotted movements of Syrian heavy missile launchers northward and southward, toward Syria’s borders with Turkey and Israel.

The site says hundreds of high-caliber launchers are being moved, and that these could only be long range Scud missile launchers.

Syria has threatened in the past that in the event of foreign military intervention on its soil, it will not hesitate to fire missiles at Israel and Turkey in order to ignite a large scale regional war.

Turkish and French officials said ten days ago they were mulling a potential military intervention in Syria, where civil war has been raging for 14 months.

“In the face of developments in Syria, we are taking into consideration any kind of possibility in line with our national security and interests,” Turkish foreign minister Ahmet Davutoglu told parliament during a briefing to lawmakers.

Don’t Use the Rapture as an Excuse Not to Prepare

I was sent this link since I do not believe in the rapture as preached in some churches. We are to teach the commandments of God and we must be prepared in order to fulfill this mission. Listen to the short report on Europe at the 24:00 minute mark.

FoxNews Alert: North Carolina approves amendment banning gay marriage

RALEIGH, North Carolina –  North Carolina voters have approved a constitutional amendment defining marriage solely as a union between a man and a woman, making it the 30th U.S. state to adopt such a ban.

With 35 percent of precincts reporting Tuesday, unofficial returns showed the amendment passing with about 58 percent of the vote to 42 percent against.

In the days before the vote, members of President Barack Obama’s cabinet expressed support for gay marriage and former President Bill Clinton recorded phone messages urging voters to reject the amendment

Meanwhile, supporters ran their own ad campaigns and church leaders urged Sunday congregations to vote for the amendment. The Rev. Billy Graham was featured in full-page newspaper ads supporting the amendment.

Wait, Don’t the Democrats Control the Senate?

From Van Jones’ Rebuild the Dream:

Rebuild the Dream
Infuriating: This morning, the U.S. Senate failed to pass a bill to keep student loan interest rates low. Not one Republican voted in favor. Not one decided to stand with the millions of young people buried in overwhelming debt just for getting an education.

It was a choice between the 1% and the rest of us — and they chose to make life harder for students and young people. They don’t seem to care that Americans hold more than $1 trillion in student debt, or that all this debt is crippling young people’s ability to make and spend money and rebuild our economy, or that both Obama and Romney support keeping rates low.

UK Police accused of failing to investigate paedophile gang for fear of appearing racist

After such a heinous act, the UK Telegraph calls the men Asian instead of Pakistani Muslims. Will we let America devolve to such a low state? These are the consequences of intimidation based on the fear of being called a racist.
