The following excerpt from Germany’s Spiegel could easily be applied to the United States whose debt dwarfs that of Greece. The question is not if Greece will go bankrupt but if the European Union will be able to stop the contagion when it does. Sovereign CitizensThey could be dismissed as a nuisance, a loose network of individuals living in the United States who call themselves “sovereign citizens” and believe that federal, state, and local governments operate illegally. Some of their actions, although quirky, are not crimes. The offenses they do commit seem minor: They do not pay their taxes and regularly create false license plates, driver’s licenses, and even currency.
However, a closer look at sovereign citizens’ more severe crimes, from financial scams to impersonating or threatening law enforcement officials, gives reason for concern. If someone challenges (e.g., a standard traffic stop for false license plates) their ideology, the behavior of these sovereign-citizen extremists quickly can escalate to violence. Since 2000, lone-offender sovereign-citizen extremists have killed six law enforcement officers. In 2010, two Arkansas police officers stopped sovereign-citizen extremists Jerry Kane and his 16-year-old son Joseph during a routine traffic stop on Interstate 40. Joseph Kane jumped out of the vehicle and opened fire with an AK-47 assault rifle, killing both officers.
The sovereign-citizen threat likely will grow as the nationwide movement is fueled by the Internet, the economic downturn, and seminars held across the country that spread their ideology and show people how they can tap into funds and eliminate debt through fraudulent methods. As sovereign citizens’ numbers grow, so do the chances of contact with law enforcement and, thus, the risks that incidents will end in violence. Law enforcement and judicial officials must understand the sovereign-citizen movement, be able to identify indicators, and know how to protect themselves from the group’s threatening tactics.

I just want to add something for you specifically about your role in all of this.
We decided to do this because we can’t afford for the work you’re doing in your communities, and the grassroots donations you give to support it, to be destroyed by hundreds of millions of dollars in negative ads.
It’s a real risk.
In 2011, the Super PAC supporting Mitt Romney raised $30 million from fewer than 200 contributors. Ninety-six percent of what they’ve spent so far, more than $18 million, has been on attack ads. The main engine of Romney’s campaign has an average contribution of roughly $150,000.
That’s why it’s up to us — the grassroots organization — to win this election where we have the real advantage, and that’s on the ground. More than 1.3 million Americans have already donated. Our average donation is $55, and 98 percent are $250 or less.
If the following story becomes reality in November, we only have ourselves to blame. The Bureau of Labor Statistics is culpable by manipulating the labor force to lower the unemployment rates. The media are culpable for spreading propaganda concerning the economy. But We the People are ultimately accountable for not questioning boldly and not holding our government accountable for their actions.

The objective of our demonstration is to have our congressmen repeal Section 1021 and 1022 which could lead to the indefinite military detention of Americans without due process.MAKE SURE TO CALL OR E-MAIL YOUR CONGRESSMEN ALSO. NDAA 2012 allows for Americans to be indefinitely detained by the military without access to an attorney or a trial by jury on orders of the executive branch. Amendments to exclude American citizens were rejected by the Obama administration and senate vote (See below).
Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu knows when to hold his ground. He understands the consequences of appeasement; especially when negotiations are with Muslim terrorists. Israel has to deal with the ever expanding power base of the Muslim Brotherhood in the Middle East (thank you Mr. Obama), Hamas, Hezbollah, Syria and Iran.
Let us hope that our leaders will not sacrifice our nation’s honor by sacrificing Israel’s future for Obama’s arrogance.

Anyone who still has money in a savings or money market account deserves the interest that they get paid. Along with the tax liability on the interest. As reported in the Stick a Fork in It: We Will Have to Pay to Save Money? article, the government is now considering allowing us to buy treasuries with a negative yield.
So the elites are eliminating the middle class and concentrating the wealth of the world in their pockets under the guise of redistribution. Who knew? But the more important question for today is who cares? We pay the price for everything without thinking about the future consequences. The price of gas doubled in the Obama regime: no problem. The cost of food, electricity and cars has increased: no problem. Subsidize labor union benefits (and you had better like it), no problem.
Strange how the people who are willing to fight for their country, sacred honor and freedom are labelled home grown terrorists by our “leaders”. As Newt Gingrich found out and Rick Santorum is finding out, whoever has the most money wins.

The National Defense Authorization Act’s latest consequence is the “modification” of the conditions for receiving imminent danger pay. How much money will this save the government? No figures have been released but the cost to the moral of our soldiers fighting and dying on the front lines is immeasurable.
The rules for Hostile Fire and Imminent Danger Pay have changed. Service members will now receive imminent danger pay only for days they actually spend in hazardous areas. This change went in effect on February 1, 2012.
A member of a uniformed service may be entitled to Hostile Fire and Imminent Danger pay at the rate of $225 for any month in which he/she was entitled to basic pay and in which he/she was:
