Although I do not have cable TV, I do have GBTV and encourage everyone to at least try it free for two weeks. Based on what I have heard, it appears that FoxNews is not aggressively pursuing the real news anyway so I do not seem to be missing much.

At last count, Occupy Wall Street had “donations” of over $300,000 in a Wall Streets bank. Based on the following article from CNNMoney.com, the big banks themselves may be contributing both to this account and to the success of this movement.
It is axiomatic that you will never be short of what your profession provides. If you are a grocer, you will have food just as a car dealer will always have a car to drive. The same applies to banks. Bankers will always have money because that is their raison d’etre. When the government regulates banks through blackmail (see Community Reinvestment Act) or more recently through bank reform legislation (see Durbin amendment) enacted in the middle of the night, the banks pass these costs along to the consumer just like any other “evil” corporation. As the costs get passed along, the banks make more profit because that is their business. Although the people blame the banks instead of the government, the banks still make money and the government gets more power.
Moody’s Investors Service on Tuesday cut Spain’s sovereign ratings by two notches, saying high levels of debt in the banking and corporate sectors leave the country vulnerable to funding stress.
Worsening growth prospects for the euro zone will also make it more challenging for Spain to reach its ambitious fiscal targets, the ratings agency added.
In particular, Moody’s said it continues to have serious concerns regarding the funding situation of the regional governments.
Spain has said it will deflate its public deficit to 6 percent of GDP this year from 9.3 percent of GDP in 2010, though many economists are concerned this could be derailed by a lack of fiscal discipline at regional level.

The People Will Come
Today was my third consecutive day at the Raleigh Capitol to video “Occupy Raleigh” and solicit reasons why people are committed to this cause. Of course the cause does not have much of a foundation other than the evil 1% of the corporations have stolen wealth from the remaining 99%. Their solution is simple: make them pay their fair share. This redistribution takes on different aspects depending on whom you ask. It may be the “fair share” tax rate which is as elusive to define as finding a member of the TEA Party to stand up for America at these occupations. It may take the form of arresting the evil rich and making them pay for their crimes. It may be a childish plan by the president to tax the rich to create more jobs. It may be mobs “visiting” the personal residences of the conservative rich in New York.
For those who believe these useful idiots have made a legitimate case for their cause, please take a deep breath and watch this video.

Since the occupiers have received a limited education in our indoctrination centers, they only effectively absorb information from a television or monitor. Since Mr. Chagnon was arrested, he understands that if he gets arrested again for trespassing on state property, he will face additional charges for disobeying a court order. I will attest that the occupiers that I talked with today were peaceful and willing to debate issues.
There were about 60 occupiers on the sidewalk in front of the Capitol on Day 2. The barricades were in place around the Capitol to keep them out.

According to the latest census, there are more than a half million undocumented immigrants living and working in North Carolina. Right now, they’re not allowed to get a driver’s license, but a local group is hoping to change that soon.
Maudia Melendez works with Jesus Ministry and is an advocate for immigrants, but after living in North Carolina for 25 years she’s also an advocate for the state, which is why she is behind the Drivers Licenses for Undocumented Immigrants project.
“We need to have something that benefits everybody,” said Melendez. “We’re going to know who is driving out there, who has a license.”
