Suspected Illegal Alien Charged With Indecent Liberties With A Child

ASHEVILLE- Police are searching for a man wanted for taking indecent liberties with a child and assaulting a woman. Ricardo Osornio Reyes, 24, is wanted on one count of indecent liberties with a child and two counts of assault on a female, and for communicating threats.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office said Reyes is a Hispanic male standing 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing about 115 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Reyes also goes by the name “Rick.” His last known residence was in the Bradley Branch area of Arden. Police say he could be fleeing to Mexico. Reyes is also charged with a probation violation in Buncombe County.

Court records show that Reyes is scheduled to appear in court in Henderson County on April 28 for driving with a revoked license and an inspection violation. Anyone with information on Reyes’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office at

First Draft of the North Carolina State Budget

I went through all 333 pages and saw few cuts in spending. Most of the budgets are the same or little changed. The total budget for the state’s higher education rose only 0.19%. It will be interesting to see the Senate’s version and what backroom dealings will be made over the next few weeks.

Understand the Scam … a letter to “Dagney”

David posted several good articles today and “Dagney” raised an excellent question in response to “Whoever has the Most Gold Wins”.

Dagney asked: “What does it mean in lay man’s terms please?”  Let’s answer Dagney’s question by looking at purchases a little differently than normal.

Be patient with me for a few paragraphs, I assure you “the destination is worth the journey”.  I will give you a very direct and meaningful answer.

All our lives we have purchased goods and services with dollars. Since World War 2, the world has relied on the US$ as the reference for international trade.  But money issued by governments has for decades been steadily decreasing in value, as may be seen in its ability to buy things such as gold and oil.

Almost $1 Billion to Close Banks by the FDIC

The following information comes from the FDIC’s site for the week closing April 29th. The total loss to the Deposit Insurance Fund (DIF) and loss-share tranactions is $964.50 million.

Information for Community Central Bank, Mount Clemens, MI

The FDIC estimates that the cost to the Deposit Insurance Fund (DIF) will be $183.2 million. Compared to other alternatives, Talmer Bank & Trust’s acquisition was the least costly resolution for the FDIC’s DIF. Community Central Bank is the 39th FDIC-insured institution to fail in the nation this year, and the second in Michigan. The last FDIC-insured institution closed in the state was Peoples State Bank, Hamtramck, on February 11, 2011.

Bank of the Ozarks, Little Rock, Arkansas, Acquires All the Deposits of Two Georgia Banks

The FDIC estimates that the cost to the Deposit Insurance Fund (DIF) for First Choice Community Bank will be $92.4 million; and for The Park Avenue Bank, $306.1 million. Bank of the Ozarks’ acquisition of all the deposits of the two institutions was the “least costly” option for the DIF compared to all alternatives.

Premier American Bank, National Association, Miami, Florida, Acquires All the Deposits of Two Florida Banks

The FDIC and Premier American Bank, N.A. entered into loss-share transactions on the failed banks’ assets. The loss-share transaction for First National Bank of Central Florida was $270.0 million; and the loss-share transaction for Cortez Community Bank was $51.3 million. Premier American Bank, N.A. will share in the losses on the asset pools covered under the loss-share agreements. The loss-share transactions are projected to maximize returns on the assets covered by keeping them in the private sector. You Just Lost 3.7% of Your Savings in April

The US dollar index on Bloomberg.com (DXY:IND) compares the value of our Federal Reserve Notes against a basket of other world currencies. As the value of our dollar declines through redistribution and the unchecked policies of the Federal Reserve, the fruits of our labor (savings/retirement) are evaporating. Since January 1, 2011 through the end of April, the dollar has lost 7.59% of its value compared to other currencies. Almost half of this loss (48.7%) occurred in the month of April where the dollar declined 3.7%.

The price of gold has seen a meteoric rise in April as the dollar collapses and the quest for physical gold by governments’ central banks has become insatiable.

The price of gold is currently $1558.30 $1562.40 $1565.70 – up $22.50  $26.40 $29.90 today and the 14th record set in April. The major factor for this increase is not the decline in the value of the dollar but the demand across the world to increase reserves. This will offset economic downturns prior to abandoning the dollar as the world’s currency. The cost of gasoline and food is now being felt in the United States and no relief is expected.

“… President Obama and his union-beholden appointees at the National Labor Relations Board, … have asked the courts to intervene and force Boeing to stop production in South Carolina. The NLRB wants Boeing to produce the planes only in Washington state, where its workers must belong to the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.”

STOP !

Go back and read that excerpt again.  The Obama government wants to force a business to operate only in a union controlled labor pool.

Threat of FORCE !

That is the only way this government can achieve its policy.  And it’s the only way the union can control labor.

Because We Are Not A Muslim Nation

The following editorial from the Charlotte News & Observer attacks North Carolina Reps. George Cleveland and Ric Killian for introducing HB 640. This legislation is  “AN ACT TO PROTECT RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES GRANTED UNDER THE NORTH CAROLINA AND UNITED STATES CONSTITUTIONS IN THE APPLICATION OF FOREIGN LAW.

This legislation has passed its first reading and is currently in Judiciary Committee C. No corresponding legislation has been introduced in the NC Senate and the May 12th crossover deadline is fast approaching.

Don’t be misled by another “News & Observer” attempt to divert our attention. At worst, this legislation is just an affirmation of our legal system. However, this legislation is necessary to protect us from Sharia law as it it being implemented across the world to justify the introduction of Islam into our legal system.

The End of an Era

Superman has renounced his US citizenship and his fight for the American way has now become a fight for the New World Order. I suppose that we will have to spend $5.99 to find out what is “enough anymore” for Superman. I thought our country and way of life was the envy of the world. And that is the problem: we are the envy of the world instead of the model for the world. The United States may not be perfect but our future is in our hands.

Maybe Clark should find out if he qualifies to be a citizen of the United Nations prior to renouncing his citizenship since he represents the “evil empire” that is vilified across the world.

Birther Credibility

The post from Hans showing a video (which has now been removed from YouTube) detailing the layers in the PDF of Obama’s birth certificate made me investigate this matter a little further. Two questions were immediately raised in my mind:

  1. Could the administration be so incompetent as to release a document where its “manufacture” could easily show it to be fraudulent.
  2. How could this document appear so close after the current governor of Hawaii’s assertion that the document was lost?
