Consider this:

What is the current inflation rate forecast for 2023?

The latest update from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) puts the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) measure of inflation at 3.9% in the year to November 2023, significantly less than the 4.6% recorded a month earlier and now at a two-year low.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.1% – 3.9% seems to be a contraction of -0.8% from 2022. And that inflation figure includes only the first 11 months of 2023.
One nuclear-armed Poseidon torpedo could decimate a coastal city. Russia wants 30 of them.
Russia’s Poseidon—also known in the United States as Kanyon, Ocean Multipurpose System, and Status-6—was first revealed by the Russian Navy in 2015 and reportedly tested for the first time in November 2016. The torpedo—a nuclear-powered underwater drone equipped with nuclear weapons—is designed to be launched from submarines. The first Poseidon is expected to be deployed by 2027.
There is buzz that this new weapon is poised to shake the landscape of modern warfare. And this may owe less to its borrowed name than to some unmatched features—at least on paper.
Powered by a compact nuclear reactor, it is believed the Poseidon could travel at unprecedented speeds of 100 knots (185 kilometers per hour), have a range of approximately 10,000 kilometers, and operate at depths of up to 1,000 meters. Designed to evade detection by acoustic tracking devices and other traps, the Poseidon has a diameter of approximately 1.6 to two meters. Particularly riveting is the torpedo’s devastating payload: a nuclear warhead with a likely yield of at least several megatons (with early reports suggesting it could yield up to 100 megatons). For comparison, Russia’s Tsar Bomba—the most powerful nuclear weapon ever tested—had an estimated blast yield of about 50 megatons.
While some reports claim that Russia’s Poseidon may exist only as a propaganda scheme, experts generally agree that the system is “very real” and has received significant resources from the Russian armed forces, although many details remain unknown.  Intelligence  reports have suggested that Poseidon has undergone many trials, evidenced by the fact that some submarines have been modified and some are being specially built to accommodate for the larger and heavier Poseidon.
I very rarely use Wikipedia for any citations as I doubt their level of credibility. Based on other articles that I have read, the Poseidon torpedo can be deployed on the ocean floor and activated at any point in the future as a drone. Tsunami or not, imagine the capability of a nuclear warhead off the coast of a city on our either of our East or West seaboards.
Concerning this topic, I want to point out that the Belgorod submarine was redesigned in 2017 specifically to carry and deploy Poseidon torpedoes. Does anyone think that Russia would build or redesign/retrofit a submarine for a fictional weapon? For those who disregard this information as propaganda, misinformation or carrying Putin’s dirty water, I refer you to this post.
Concerning people who use threats as to whether or not their comments get posted, I usually delete them. Any comment that can stand on its own merits will be posted. I really do not care whether Aesop reposts his comment on his site but I did approve his comment in this case.
A Dose of Reality
🇷🇺🤖Top Russian weapons according to AI
Russia has a range of powerful weapons in its arsenal. Some of the most notable include:
▪️RS-28 Sarmat (Satan 2): An intercontinental ballistic missile, claimed to have the capability to evade any current missile defense system.
▪️T-14 Armata Tank: A modern tank with advanced armor and a remotely controlled turret.
▪️Poseidon Nuclear Torpedo: An underwater drone designed to carry a nuclear warhead, potentially causing radioactive tsunamis.
▪️Su-57 Stealth Fighter: Russia’s most advanced fighter jet, designed for air superiority and attack roles.
▪️ S-400 Triumf Air Defense System: One of the world’s most advanced missile systems, capable of engaging multiple targets at various ranges.
These weapons are part of Russia’s strategic military capabilities, reflecting its focus on both nuclear and conventional military strength.
I recommend everyone do more research on the above weapons. Start with the Poseidon nuclear torpedo.
And So Ends an Era
     Now that you, the lucky ones, are beyond your steaming platters of pancakes and mighty rashers of bacon, and perhaps even a dram or two of grog in your coffee. . . and clawed your way through the bales of presents. . . a merry Christmas to all. . . and here’s something else to think about this morning:
     You may have noticed that our country, formerly a republic of sovereign individuals, has become one great big racketeering operation run by a mafia-like cabal with Marxist characteristics — or, at least, Marxist pretenses. That is, it seeks to profit by every avenue of dishonesty and coercion, under the guise of rescuing the “oppressed and marginalized” from their alleged tormenters. Apparently, half the country likes it that way.
     Much of the on-the-ground action in this degenerate enterprise is produced by various hustles. A hustle is a particularly low-grade, insultingly obvious racket, such as Black Lives Matter, DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), and “trans women” (i.e., men) in women’s sports. Some of the profit in any hustle is plain moneygrubbing, of course. But there’s also an emotional payoff.  Hustlers and racketeers are often sadists, so the gratification derived from snookering the credulous (feelings of power) gets amplified by the extra thrill of seeing the credulous suffer pain, humiliation, and personal ruin. (That’s what actual “oppressors” actually do.)
Christmas Truce – 1914
The Christmas Truce Of 1914
“Enemy” soldiers in World War 1 fraternizing at Christmas
In World War I, as happens to be true in most American wars, the Christian church leadership joined in the patriotic fervor with very un-Christ-like, nationalistic and racial/religious domination stances. Astonishingly, religious leaders on every side of the conflict truly believed that God was on their particular side. And so the pulpits all over Europe, including British, Scottish, French, Belgian, German, Austrian, Hungarian, Russian and Italian reverberated with flag-waving fervor, with clear messages to their doomed warrior-sons that it was their God-given Christian duty to march off to kill the equally brain-washed young Christian soldier enemies, who were also certain that God was on their side.
Five months into the miserable death and destruction of the perpetually dead-locked trench war (featuring the now-infamous mass slaughter via artillery, machine gun and poison gas weaponry), the first Christmas of the war on the Western Front came around.
I have been buying classic books for the community center’s library and have a large backlog of reading. However, I did finish “All Quiet on the Western Front” last month. Based on the information concerning WWI trench warfare in France, the above story was a bright spot on humanity.
I hope that people read the entire article above and reflect on this paragraph:
This unique story of war resistance needs to be retold over and over again if our modern-era of false flag-generated wars of empire and corporate domination are to be effectively de-railed. These never-ending wars – always followed by armed occupations that inevitably generate armed resistance and revolt later – are fought by naïve but thoroughly indoctrinated, macho adolescents – many of whom are from devout Christian families. These not quite emotionally mature adolescents are at high risk of becoming spiritually damaged by active engagement in the “killing fields”. Indeed, combat soldiers are often doomed to a life overwhelmed by the realities of combat-induced PTSD (or sociopathic personality disorder), with suicidality, homicidality, loss of religious faith, traumatic brain injuries, and even neurological and autoimmune disorders because of the Pentagon’s aggressive over-vaccination agendas (often with experimental, poorly tested, fast-tracked vaccines, usually injected without informed consent as a part of some secret biodefense weapons research project.
Why are we fighting wars to generate money and power for these people who believe we are nothing more than fodder? I would like to ask why we do not come together as people instead of countries? I am not talking about borders; I am talking about building our own countries for our children’s future instead of burying or enslaving them.
What if we started in our own backyards and told the evil tyrants in Washington, D.C. that not only will we not follow them, we will fight them in the name of the Lord to restore light instead of their darkness?
